RP Response: How peculiar. As much as Sea Song wanted to take the initiative of being friendly, she also didn't want to be turned into a toad! So, instead, she split away from the mane (lol) group to go and look around for any signs of who might be living here, as well as any signs of dastardly deeds.

If you picked A:
You walk up to the cabin despite numerous protests within your group, knocking on the door. A few ponies follow suit (the home-owner can't enjoy that many knocks, but it's too late). With anticipation swelling in your stomach, you wait.
Suddenly, you can hear a crash within the cabin and a low, forceful curse spat out. The door swings open before anyone can consider that perhaps this was a bad idea, and a swirly-eyed pony stares down at you.
Dread fills you.
This has to be the witch. If you peek behind them you'll see a large cauldron, and a noxious smell hits you. The pony scowls at you, glancing back into the depths of their cabin before returning their gaze towards you.
"If you aren't here for business then get out." They hiss, eyes trailing towards the group around you, face scrunching up. "Not one of these again. Didn't you learn from you last witch hunt?" Oh no! It seems they've mistaken you for a witch hunt! Quick! What do you do? Look below for options!
If you picked B:
While you investigate you notice something small and purple. Curiously, you lift the object, discovering it to be a forgotten bunny plush. Strange. Suddenly, the commotion from the cabin alerts you and you tuck the plush away to properly see what is happening.
The decision is up to you, will you?:
A.) Ask the witch a question? Write what your question is! B.) Get away from the witch! Run!

Pony Playing: Spring Rain Option Taken: A. Ask the witch a question? Write what your question is!
RP Response: Spring Rain heard the noise coming from the cabin and she went over and asked a simple question. "Want my plushies??" Spring lifted them both up with her magic. The carrot and the purple bunny she had found. Maybe this pony needed a friend so they wouldn't be so grumpy.

Pony Playing:Aster Option Taken: A.) Ask the witch a question? Write what your question is!
RP Response: Aster's eyes grew wide at the crash that came from within the cabin and he took a small step back when the door abruptly swung open revealing the brown pony. He wrinkles his nose as a noxious smell hit him and he vaguely remembered ponies talking about a witch.
The pony seemed really mad that they interrupted them and hissed a few sentences at them. He swallows nervously and steps forward from the group. "We're here on some sort of business but I'm sorry to say it's probably not the kind you're looking for. Um... you see we heard that a pixie was lost here in the swamp and were looking for them. So we were wondering if you might have seen them?" He said softly with a pause, "Or if you haven't would you perhaps have some sort of idea of where they may be or something that may help us find them?" Okay so it wasn't really just one question but a couple of them but he couldn't help it. If this pony really is a witch then maybe there is some sort of finding spell they might know.
Pony Playing: Windy Melody Option Taken: A.) Ask the witch a question? Write what your question is!
RP Response: Windy almost fell over backwards in surprise but managed to catch himself in time. Hopefully no one saw that....
Gulping however, he waves his hooves frantically at the witch-- er pony and shook his head. He wasn't here for a witch hunt at all! He only hoped she'd believe him. Instead, he took a huge breath and proffered a question. "Have you...um...s-seen any lost... p-poxie ponies?" he tilted his head, digging one hoof nervously into the dirt.
RP Response: Sand looked around for a while, not really sure what he was looking for and wondering if there were any clues to be found, when his eyes suddenly spotted something that didn't belong and was quite the bright purple color. Moving around he saw that it was some sort of purple bunny plush, obviously not meant to be here.
He was wondering if he should join the others in the cabin when all of a sudden there was quite the emotion and yelling. From what he could tell, it seemed to be some sort of angry witch who was practically yelling at them to get off of her property. He didn't need to be told twice! And she was scary! So he decided to go and run, and see if he could possibly find the trail, if one existed.
Pony Playing: Candisweet Option Taken: A.) Ask the witch a question? Write what your question is!
RP Response: Candi rolled her eyes at all the ponies that came up to knock, too. Whatever. The crashing sound made her jump a little and she eyed the door, jerking back when it was yanked open. An awful feeling she wasn't familiar with washed over her...along with the most disgusting smell. "Oh gross..." she mumbled and exhaled through her nose sharply to get rid of the scent. "This isn't a witch hunt," she said and scowled.
She opened her mouth to ask where the pixie went but what came out instead was, "Business? What kinda business do you do here?"

Pony Playing: Buckwheat Option Taken: A.) Ask the witch a question? Write what your question is!
RP Response: The mare jumped despite herself, accidentally going stiff-legged at the very sight of those strange swirling eyes. So this was the witch! Who would have guessed she actually existed, and wasn't just some fillies' scary tale. Today was full of surprises.
She recovered quickly, though. Bad enough that some of the others looked skittish - and was that someone actually running away? The spirited Earth pony withheld another snort, although the arch of her neck betrayed her irritation. They were here on a mission. She was not going to look like some 'fraidy colt while there was work to be done!
"Hold on there! We're not after you." Buck turned back to the witch, facing those eerie eyes with as much moxie as she could muster. "And we're not trying to disturb your...business." Whatever that was - but it seemed that someone else had already asked after that, so she'd let them deal with that. "We're looking for someone lost. Has anyone else knocked on your door lately?" One would assume - being the infamous Witch of the Willows and all - that she didn't get out of her lovely home all that much. But she apparently responded to disturbances with a vengeance, so maybe she would remember other ones.
Pony Playing:Berri Berry Option Taken:A.) Ask the witch a question? Write what your question is!
RP Response: Berri was not one to be easily scared, and even when the suspicions of this being the witches house were confrimed she confidently addressed the witch. "Why No! This is no witch hunt. It is quite the opposite, we heard tell of a pixie squatting here on your land and were wondering if you perhaps had seen them, as soon as we find them we can make sure they aren't here to bother you. You wouldn't have any idea of where we should start looking would you?" Berri was freindly but assertive, she wanted to make clear they wished the witch no harm and wanted to be gone as badly as she wanted them to leave.

Pony Playing: Dawn Frost Option Taken: A.) Ask the witch a question? Write what your question is!
RP Response: Dawn was startled to say the least, and oh of course this would be the witch. Who else would it be? "Oh we're not here hunting you." She said, doing her best to ignore the way her brain was setting off alarm signals trying to tell her to run. She had four hooves and two perfectly good wings after all! She could surely outrun this witch if she had to. "We're looking for a missing pixie. You don't happen to have seen them, have you?" The next question she wanted to ask was along the lines of if they had survived the encounter, but no reason to push her luck any further at the moment.

If you picked A:
You ask your question, and the witch listens to each and every one of them, irritation alive and well in her eyes. The first pony to ask her something (lift up plushies) caught her eye and the pony, with a careful frown placed on their lips, eyed the trinkets. Delicately, they took the carrot plushie, trotting back inside their home with the door wide open so everyone could witness her plop the plushie into a bubbling cauldron. Nodding softly with a satisfied grin, she returned to the group. [Midnightglow18 has lost their carrot trinket!]
Their eyes now turn to Aster, head cocking to the side sharply, a thoughtful gaze crossing their features that immediately morphed into faint irritation. "I've seen someone dart past a few times there." She nodded towards the north, where a path can be seen. She directed the answer to Aster and Windy Melody, uncomfortably shifting her hooves. It seemed she was seconds from retreating from the group.
Candisweet's comments caught her attention, head snapping to glower at Candisweet for the 'gross' comment. "That isn't your concern." She spat. "Those who come here usually are aware of my wares, and I'm not in the habit of discussing it after what happened last time." She made a move to close the door, seemingly unwilling to explain what on earth could have occurred last time (although whatever it was, it clearly spooked her!), however she was instead stopped by the voice of Buckwheat.
"No." She answered, sizing Buckwheat up before letting out a tired sigh, rubbing her forehead with her hoof. "The swamp changes its layout every evening, usually ponies can't even reach my hut. You're the first to knock on my door since ages."
While the witch had answered the questions where they thought the pony was, they did laugh sharply at Berri Berri's comment, seemingly amused for a moment. "You better get to getting them out of here then if their presence is causing all this ruckus." It seemed catering to her desire to be alone left her in a momentary good mood.
It seems her charity is over, as the witch promptly slams the door in your face. You're lucky she didn't cast a spell on you! You turn around to catch up with the group that fled, finding most of them gathered, exhausted, by a fallen tree.
If you picked B:
You run away from the witch, however you aren't properly looking where you're going in your panic.
RNG 1-10! If you get a 5 or 3, you fell into the murky water and found yourself being pulled under by forceful hooves. Luckily, just as your lungs seem to give, the hooves throw you back onto the starting path and a distorted voice snarls: 'Don't come back.'
If you get any other number, you manage to scramble back up, collapsing in exhausation next to a fallen tree.
Everyone:
Now that you've gathered back together, the group that spoke to the witch speaks of the information she gave them. With this new knowledge, the group heads towards the north, where the swamp seems to collect into a thorny disaster of a path. Great. However, it seems there's a shallow creek that goes beside the thorny entrance! Perhaps, if you follow it, you might reach wherever you're headed safer?
The decision is up to you, will you?:
A.) Travel through the creek. B.) Travel through the thorny path.

Pony Playing: Spring Rain Option Taken: A. Travel through the creek
RP Response: Spring Rain thought for a moment on which path to take, but the chance to splash in water was too much fun, even if the easier path might turn out to be more dangerous for some reason. She moved to splash her way through the creek.
Pony Playing:berri berry Option Taken:B.) Travel through the thorny path.
RP Response: Berri looked at the two paths, while the creek seemed the easier path she doubted very much a pixie would have gotten lost there. However it seemed plausible one may have gotten its wing snagged on a thorn and couldn't fly out for help. So making a tough face she attempted the rougher road.

Pony Playing:Aster Option Taken: B.) Travel through the thorny path.
RP Response: Aster watched as the witch took the carrot plushie from another pony and threw it into the cauldron. He shifted his hooves slightly uneasy about that and fought not to step beck when she returned and focused on him. He was slightly surprised when she answered his question and nodded at her. "Thank you very much." He then stepped back and looked towards the north.
He missed some what she said but caught the part where she said that the swamp changes its layout. That was a strange phenomenon that he would have to think about at a later time. It looked like the group was gathering back together, including those that had run off, and sharing what they learned from the witch.
Following the group north he once again kept to himself towards the back. When they reached the thorny path and creek he considered the options. Sure the creek appeared to be the easier path but he supposed that the pixie could have taken the thorny path and gotten stuck or lost in it or something. Plus maybe he could use some magic to move the thorns aside as he walked. Decision made he decided that he at least would take the path less traveled or maybe he should say the path of most resistance for once.

Pony Playing: Dawn Frost Option Taken: A.) Travel through the creek.
RP Response: Well this looked not at all fun or friendly. If only there wasn't such a high chance of missing who they sought if she took to the air, she would just say forget it to each path and take to the sky. As it was, there was definitely no way anyone in their right mind would take the path through the thorns, and so she moved to walk through the creek.
