6. The animal bites you playfully as you work, but its injury has made it unsure of its own strength, and it bites harder than it intends. -1 HP The familiar seems to be feeling quite better and has woken up. It playfully nips at Lemondrops but misjudged and bit him harder than it wanted to, leaving an imprint of it's teeth on his leg. Thankfully it didn't break the skin. 9. You work slowly and methodically, leaving the animal to its own devices. +1 trust Shaking off the bite from the Lynx, Lemondrops continues assembling the splint for the broken bone. 2. The animal seems spooked by a smell or a sound that you make unintentionally as you work. -2 trust Lemondrops continued to put together the splint for the Lynx's back leg. It suddenly moved away from him as he accidentally kicked a spare piece he'd brought just in case. Even though he upset the familiar with the sudden noise he managed to finish splinting it. He nosed it gently, encouraging it to move around and discover for itself that it could now use the back leg that had broken, although it would have to be careful for a long while while healing. Lemondrops yawned, then settled himself in next to the Lynx's spot. He was so tired now after all that had happened. Lemondrops closed his eyes, wanting to fall asleep immediately. Strangely, once he did a bright light flashed across his vision and he opened them again. This can't be right... he was back were he'd been sleeping in the first place, his small pile of fruit still next to him. Even the one he'd offered that Lynx was back in place. He shook his head and got up, carefully looking around. Not a single thing was moved. It... it must have been a dream. It was so vivid though... he could still smell the herb he'd eaten, could still feel the scrape of thorns in his mouth and the spot where the familiar had bit him a bit too hard. Motherfather, something had given him that dream.. He settled down, laying back down by his fruits. Maybe, just maybe, it had been the Motherfather? 6-8: You manage to find something the animal likes, but unfortunately, obtaining the bribe came at a price. Gain 2 trust; lose 2 HP.  Snowy had been snoozing happily when he heard something odd. He yawned and stretched his legs out before opening his eyes to check his surroundings. Hmmm, he didn't remember that Rox being there earlier. Plus it seemed to be in some kind of distress. Snowy looked around for something to give it so it would let him close. Spotting a berry bush he nabs a small branch of them., earning some scratches on his face from the twigs. 8. You're not sure what you could've missed, but checking over part of the animal again ends up yielding a new insight. But repeating your examination makes the animal a little testy. +1 clue, -1 trust Snowy carefully moves closer to the Rox, wanting to find out what's wrong with it. 6. Unfortunately, there are parts of the animal's anatomy that you just have to look at, to eliminate all possibilities. The animal doesn't seem pleased, though, and the examination unfortunately produces no results for you this time. -2 HP The Rox seemed a little more comfortable around him as Snowy continued his examination of it. Stepping away, surprisingly, actually helps you get a better idea of the full situation. +1 clue Snowy decides to step back from the Rox and give himself more space to see what's wrong with it. There's definitely a problem with that bump. The skin through the fur looks red and swollen and it smells infected. The Rox must have gotten scratched by another animal and it got infected.
