She continues to work slowly, and carefully while she makes a small mash she can press against the foxbun's wounds rather than attempting to make a sling or food out of it. It would sort of know what she was going for, right? She hopes when she's done, it doesn't seem to want to bite her for getting too close again, as it has definitely seemed to calm now. The foxbun gets up, to her surprise, and wanders over to watch her hooves mash up the poultice. It sniffs carefully and then wiggles the tiny buttfluff of its tail, and nipped her ankle teasingly. She startles at the display, but unfortunately the jaggers and the wolf bites at her ankles are still tender and bleeding in places, so while she chuckles at the cute playfulness, she also winces a bit. She finishes up the poultice and the tiny foxbun manages to n** her ankle again playfully. Clearly it's full of energy, and she smiles at it's energy. This was definitely a good sign. While it's close and teasingly playing, she reaches a foot out, which the foxbun snaps around to catch her, and she manages to squish a few bits of it onto the wounds. It squeaks a little, but continues to try to chew her foot, the silly little creature clearly more interested in fun and play than resting up. "You're going to hurt yourself," she warns, trying to hold back her smile, but failing. It was just such a sweet creature. She sighs, defeated, and is at least glad she managed to administer the poultice. "You're so adorable." OOC Footnote Current HP: 7 - 1 = 6 Current Trust: 26 Section notes: +4 = X30 Progress!

She woke with a start, the sun shining almost directly into her eyes. She winces and blinks, staring out into the open with disbelief. She glanced between her feet and all around the base of her drooping willow tree to any sign of the small foxbun, but couldn't. It had definitely been a dream. She actually feels rather sad. She succeeds in finding one last scratch against the foxbun's flank, and for once doesn't get too close enough to receive a snap! She's sure she's been thorough enough in digging around and poking and prodding the poor tiny thing, so she figures it's okay to let it eat its fish now. -- 2nd Ticket Attempt! --Fowl listens to some shuffling which seems to be rustling leaves by the base of a tree, and notices a small jerboa. It looks crabby now, but she thinks she can calm it down with a bite to eat. She finds exactly what it wants with a rather large bundle of nuts, and its distraction is happily successful. Now that it's happily chewing on some nuts, she concludes it's time to start poking and prodding to see what happened. She couldn't help it without a cause! She manages to find a weak spot where she believes there is a broken bone, up near a back haunch. It's a little snippy now, but she's glad. She doesn't feel that's all, though. The break she gave it wasn't quite enough and she gets a haughty snap across the nose... Ouch. But she manages to also find a rather nasty cut on the bottom of its foot, too! One more clue down. She glances over the little thing again and notes a large bruise under its neck. She concludes it must have fallen from the tree at some point, and landed down here below... there would be no way it could walk with her. A rather frightful looking fox slips out from the underbrush, and eyes the pair of them. Fowl jumps, startled from the unexpected and sudden interruption, and feels her heart sink. She rears up for an immediate, almost reflexive kick, and hopes to at least scare it off. She only seems to graze it. It only seems angry now, and even more scary, it seems to grow and be a little bigger. It snarls viciously and attempts to dive between her feet for the jerboa, and she rears for another kick.
