After landing the heaviest blow he had in him, finally the tough skinned kunoichi showed signs of being shaken if only for an instant, but soon after she was standing erect and shrugging of the meager damage that he'd managed to inflict. On the upside though he was starting to figure out a pattern in her movements, and before long he would be able to space her out enough to get in close and land a few strikes at her Tenketsu points and hopefully make it back out before one of her bone shattering attacks made contact. Just as this revelation crossed his mind he was forced to ready himself yet again and be dodge the next wrecking ball coming straight for him. Slinging himself to the ground, Sorain carefully slide out of the trajectory of her attack and awaiting it's follow through so that he could return fire but before he could do so Sai appeared before him. It surprised him that he hadn't noticed the man approaching despite not having done so under any increase in speed or urgency.
Sai had done it, the enemies body was slumped over his shoulder and he was now calling for an end to the battle, something he was happy to oblige. This fight was going no where, but the goal was met. They had successfully suppressed the fallen Shinobi's allies long enough for Sai to take him out head to head.
Regaining some composure, Sorain stood up straight and deactivated his Byakugan while also letting the awakened chakra in his body come to a rest. "Very well, i'd seem that we are done here" he offers stoically. He for one didn't care what they did with the targets possessions, or his 'chakra organ' what ever the hell that was. The battle was over, and they were leaving. He had done Sai a service, which meant he'd have the right to demand more answers of the mysterious man that every else around him seemed to wince when his presence was felt, meanwhile Sorain gazed upon his blood painted face and saw nothing but a ruthless victory. Suffice to say, there was no empathy to be found in the mans death, nor was there any for Sai's apparent suffering over it.
Sai informed him that they would be moving out, without question he nodded, not even considering an alternative. He slid his arms into the sleeves of his kimono and fell in line behind Sai, adjacent to Juugou who had shown himself to be quite formidable in battle. He couldn't imagine why, but for some reason being here, banded together, felt familiar to him. A sensation that he'd never known.
Before turning his back on the conversation and helping Juugou load the cart he does take a moment to walk directly up to the face of Hanako, locking his cold white eyes with hers. "You are stronger that you look and I respect you for standing with your ally. Should we ever find ourselves on opposite sides of the battle line again though, you'd better lighten up your step. Because the next time I hit you. Your gonna feel it" he grins at her momentarily before sucking his teeth and offering up a cheeky kiss in the air and turn around to head back to Juugou and the cart.
