"Nothing to forgive," she told him, and meant it. "You're no strain. You're... my glynd." her smile lit her face, eyes crinkling in the corners. "But I'll do my best to sleep without it tonight. I did get a bit scratched up." More than scratched- she would look a lot worse if it weren't for Hver and her healing ribbon.
She peered down at him, then said it simply- "You're one of the oldest friends I have left right now, Caedus. And I don't just mean because you're older than dirt." the genuine smile turned playful, cheeky. "Let me help you. Anything you need. I'll be back soon. And... thank you." With that, she waggled her fingers at him, and moved away as promised, leaving him to (hopefully) consider her words.
