Maybe the farm troll was still a little wrapped up in the animals, since as soon as he wandered back to work on the Lusus quarters he didn't seem to be quite on point. So far he felt like he'd done a solid amount of work, however, it still wasn't an excuse for sloppy work.

The orangeblooded Captain approaches you, hands in the pockets of her work coveralls. "Hey, you. Fellah, right? I've got a favor since you've been working with the fauna so much."

She gestures back towards the small livestock pens for avian fauna. "There's a big girl in there who's pretty aggressive with the egg she's sitting on. We think she gets anxious when any of us checks in on her, so the egg might end up in trouble unless she calms down. She'll probably be okay with you, though, 'cos you've been around the pens and all that. Shenso says it's some fairy tale singing stuff that calms 'em down." She laughs harshly.

"Anyway, if you could do that for us you're welcome to take care of whatever comes out of that egg. If it breaks, free omelette for you I guess."

Chiara was still kinda uncertain about the space adults. Like how had they survived? Why were they here now? How did they know about the s**t that went up in the space race tower? All sorts of things, really, and she was not exactly sure where she stood with them. She was also a very busy troll, but thats why she had underlings, right? It was there job to do the machine work, the paper work, all the boring stuff, while she went out and played. This time tho, she was not out for play, she was out to mend some bridges that she was not ever sure had been damaged, or why they were damaged or anything. But, keeping relations good was important to any sort of long term plan, so the blueblood went out to work in her free time.

Yep, the lightseekers. An odd bunch of trolls, but they had relatively good intentions, so Chiara set out to do this "community service".

Chiara kinda grumbled at her next suggested project. Settlement beautification was not something that mattered! This was Alternia! Who cared if something was beautiful? Except for her, she was beautiful, and everyone better give a damn about that. Well, the blueblood thought it over, and decided that maybe something silly, like lawn flamingos, would spruce the place up.

Chiara was back tonight, and she had brought help. They were hired hands, but it was still good to get that sort of thing going. Maybe she should open a construction business... It wouldn't be hard, most of the roads on Alternia were in pretty bad shape, especially if highbloods didn't use them.

Chiara was back tonight with not just more lawn flamingos, but some garden gnomes to boot. It was tacky as hell, but it gave her a sense of ironic satisfaction.

Chiara kinda groaned. Lusus did not need quarters. They needed an axe, and a strong hand to swing said axe. The blueblood frowned, she would burn this down, with all the lusi inside it, and the world would be a better place.

Chiara must have been distracted by her hate of having to work on stupid lusus quarters, because she was not focused at all on her flamingos or her garden gnomes.

Its probably becaouse she was so annoyed by the lusus quarters from last night, but she did not do a good job of whatever task she was assigned for today, and it was obvious.

Chiara decided to go all in on the lusus quarters. She could build them, then she could have a hand in burning them down. It would be cathartic! Like yoga, but with much more flames and more fun.

Chiara was a little half hearted today concerning the beautification. Was it that there were too many pink flamingos? Maybe she needed some traps, or crocodiles as well.

Chiara liked the idea of a disaster shelter a hundred times more than the idea of, well, pretty much everything. Roads were fine, she guessed, but a disaster shelter could actually come in handy.
