Agni looked at Chusi "you may stand as well" she said to her before looking at Susumu once again. She walked toward the outside of the building and she unfolded her pure white wings and she flew up to see the carvings before she flew back down and landed in front of them "I can make them more suitable for this time period, it wont take me long" she said as she arched out her wings and folded them back down on her back, unlike Susumu and Chusi Agni didn't need to transform into a Phoenix to fly why pretty much said she wasn't a Phoenix in the first place.

"I'll take a look around the rest of the temple and remove anything that may not be proper. things in here should be handled with impeccable care... especially since their may be more bodies" Agni said to them before looking at Susumu and Chusi once more "I heard that a party is supposed to be happening in the north east.... you should attend it together" she said to them.

He could almost feel her as he got closer. He new it was only a trick of his mind. It was never hard to find Agni if he truly wished to. All it took a was another transformation into a blue whisper.

Alistair stopped in his tracks. he frowned it had gotten to easy to think of that shape as normal for him. he still did not enjoy it. it felt like it took something from him every time he transformed.

he begun to change his form as he flew down from the top of the temple. he did not need to remain in his true form. n truth he had begun to find it limiting. a half breed. he was proud of being what he was. but at times. it felt better to just be something smaller. something less noticeable.

as he got closer he fixed his brown jacket and his green tie, before finally entering the main chamber of thee temple he was looking to enter.

he was surprised to find that the goddess was not alone. he found some hope rise in his chest. maybe someone had finally come to do what should have been done a year ago.
he saw two people in the chamber. but his eyes came directly to stare into the eyes of the angel.

" Agni, it has been a year. but i am here to talk." he spoke in as a respectable tone as he could. but he did not bow to her. in his hand a dagger made of blue whispers danced in between his fingers

The knight watched the goddess work in respectful silence. There was something magnificent about this, in many ways. In one aspect, it made him wonder about the gods and deities altogether. If they were neither phoenix or dragon, then they could be worshiped by all. It wasn't impossible. And in another way, it made sense and explained the ivory carving. It was accurate in its own way.

How fascinating that the goddess had no qualms about the structure being used and who simply went about work. She did not see this as lowering herself to lend assistance to her people. His respect for the goddess steadily rose as well as a new found admiration for the divine.

The party? Susumu wondered for a moment. Ah, yes, he had been invited to Kaishin as steward of the region. It was the new year's celebration. At the very least, he could put in an appearance, but it didn't seem right to simply vanish.

He cleared his throat and looked around, absently taking hold of his sword's hilt. "Perhaps... But I doubt I can afford to be at a celebration for long. While this year has granted us good progress, there is much yet to do before Ethe can be considered fully recovered."

The knight turned on hearing a new voice. His eyes narrowed and he more firmly gripped his sword. He saw something that might have passed for a weapon and he became newly anxious because of it. This stranger was not announced by a herald or by the guards. Had he snuck in?

"Is it wise to address her Excellency so casually?" The knight challenged and turned to more fully face the newcomer. "Identify yourself."

Chusi looked down at her hand for a moment, stareing as the goddess moved her hand away...was....was she trying to set her up? Chusi didn't know how to respond to that, on one had the goddess was saying the should go together and it seemed disrespectful to go against her wishes, but on another hand she didn't think of Susumu has more then just a colleague and maybe a tiny bit of a friendly rival when it came to the sword. Chusi coughed slightly as she moved her hand away "We could go...." she paused for a moment Susumu, we could bring one of the Obsidian Vases one of the architects found, as a gift for our host" she said to him.

Alistair Drosselmeyer

Alistair was caught of guard by the angels hug and kisses. he felt a familiar blush enter his cheeks, a whole year and he could still fall pray to such actions? he chastise himself for his actions. tho he smiled as she complimented his dull knife. He held it in his fingers as he looked at the two that where talking to the goddess before he interrupted.

" i am Alistair Drosselmeyer second prince of Lionis. as Agni has said she has done wonders for me... and i address her casually because of what i am here to talk to her about." he explained himself lightly to the man with the sword. he smiled at him. he was glad such people still seemed to exist. tho he was surprised at who he saw next to her was that not the hand maiden to the empress? " and i did not expect to see a chhatrapati here... tell me Agni does this mean that as i hoped my trip here is in vain aand these two have talked to you about the sickness that has made the animals die in ethe?"

he turned to face the Angel, his eyes with restrained hope letting them shine a bit. the dagger once more lazily being played with.

Chusi pressed her lips together but then sighed "Lets get going I guess" she said, not enjoying having been inturupted but she couldn't go against the goddess, she looked at the firey woman. Next time they would meet she was going to bring up the barrier with her, and if they where lucky they would see her at the party later on.

Chusi went over at picked up an Obsidian goblet instead and looked at Susumu for a moment before bowing "I'll see you at Titania" she said as she then turned into a phoenix and flew off though the top of the large temple.

The knight began to leave. However, when he began to hear the conversation, he stopped himself again. He turned, and did his best to control his expression. Was this man daring to speak in behalf of Ethe's people? This stranger?! He had not been assigned to do so. Dare he go over the Queen's head? Over the stewardess's head? Had he spoken to either of them? Who did he think he was?!

The knight exhaled slowly. "Excuse me, Lady Chhatrapati."

He then moved to the side of the man, the friend of the goddess, but stranger to this loyal knight of Ethe. This brash man who was not one of the appointed to speak on behalf of Ethe's people! And to their goddess!!

"Your excellency, I object." He then turned his eyes to the man, silently warning him with a glare not to speak out of turn concerning something he did not have the authority to speak about. "He is not qualified to speak on behalf of Ethe's people."

And how dare he dare to imply that the goddess hurt their people?! It was only that the goddess greeted him so openly that stayed his hand from rending the man in half this instant. How great an insult!
