It was a good thing that his attacks were a limp noodle.
He did however notice the chest, moving over to it and putting his foot up on it hard, pinning it shut. "Go <******** yourself Creation!"

Jordan couldn't stop, and a small portion of him was distressed about it. He'd been trying so hard to be in control of himself, only to find that his efforts could be swept away so easily.
Fortunately, he was almost entirely ineffective at aggression.

Rather than attack Jordan, Rep decided defence was the best option and tried to just hold him off while he dealt with the other threat.
"You've got to fight it." he said calmly. "Or it'll just use you."

The tug was so strong for a moment Jordan wasn't even himself, just a part of Creation as it took over every part of him and his eyes burned a vicious green and he tried to grapple Rep. "THE MASK BELONGS TO ME." His fingers were contorted into claws and he was trying to scratch at Rep's face uncontrollably, feebly-
- 'Fight it', whispered a voice from the deepest consciousness of Jordan's mind, and it sounded like an older version of himself. 'Remember'.
prolixity Jordan can now access his actual (current) version of himself and Ferros as APPARITIONS. Basically it is like he is talking to himself + older Ferros in his mind as well. His body is still attacking but if he misses an attack, he is able to break free from Creation's influence. Rp the interaction however you wish!

He's right. Fight it, said two voices twined into a single voice, both familiar in a strange way. The voices split apart then, and Jordan could hear what sounded like his own voice but deeper, calmer. You're being taken over by Creation. This has happened before. Don't let it do this. You don't serve it; it's coercing you.
His body was still struggling and fighting, and he couldn't get it to stop. How?? he wailed.
Help him, the other voice urged, speaking to the voice in Jordan's head. You are his partner. Support him.
How? Ferros asked, shy and uncertain, but not unwilling.
He belongs to YOU, not to THAT. Push back. Push it away.

Rep held the small Jordan back as much as possible, snarling. "Even if it DID you ******** FORFEITED THE RIGHT TO HAVE IT ANY LONGER." Because it was ******** true, whatever it was that it had had it for had gone completely ******** wrong and now they were in this ******** situation.

'Fight it,' the voice whispered urgently but it seemed more faint, far away. For a moment it felt like Jordan was drowning in just green.
There was a tugging sensation, like something grabbing a hold of the locked box and pulling very hard at the same time. Prolixity Same dice mechanics apply! Baneful Rep can choose in the time to either protect the box/ use effort to prevent the box from being taken OR defend himself from Jordan

Jordan fought it, and he could feel Ferros trying to get between him and the green, trying to cut it off. Good, the other Ferros-voice encouraged. Just a little more.
You don't belong to it, his own older voice said. You belong to yourself.
Jordan wanted to scream with frustration. Control seemed to hang just barely out of his reach.

Rep made his way to the box and tried to defend it. Jordan wasn't doing too much, nothing he couldn't handle anyway, but the box needed to stay in his possession, the mask was ******** important if this little s**t wanted it so much in the first place.

Branches, visible ones, now began to wrap around Rep and the box, nesting them in. They were thin filaments, easily breakable, but gathering together in a rapid amount.
The child was staring directly at Jordan, an apparition only he could see. "You promised," it whispered, and the voices in Jordan's mind, the helpful ones, grew silent as Jordan uncontrollably began to turn his attack towards the box as well.

His body changed targets, trying to get at the box. No, Jordan thought back at the green child. I said I'd help but you didn't tell me what for, you didn't tell me enough and that's like lying!
The helpful voices were fading away, and he felt the loss. It made it harder to resist. You're making me do things no matter if I want to or not, that's not something a good person would do, he aimed the thought at the green child, accusing.
