Frogs Rule the River walked for what seemed like half a day, before coming to a hill. And no way to tell if the kin who'd left drag marks had gone up the hill or back tracked or found another way to go. Panting, she sits down to catch her breath and ponder her next action.

The climb took longer than the walk to the hills. Or felt like it anyway. Reaching the top she sees a large group of kin, it seems everyone from the canopied clearing was here. She spent a few minutes weighing her options. There was a log bridge some others had rolled into place. And after walking around a hit she discovered two paths available, one going back the way she'd come and another by climbing down a tree. There was also a huge patch of berry bushes. Food was important, it wouldn't do any good to run out of energy. Frogs wasn't hungry yet, though, and decided she could push on a while longer before stopping to forrage.

Walking over to the large tree brushing the cliff, she carefully starts making her way down, a rather slow process. Hopefully quicker than backtracking.

Haunt the Earth sighed to herself. There didn't seem to be much choice here... It seemed silly to backtrack down the mountain, and unlike some other kin she held no delusion that she could jump that far. This might seem like a dream, but how was she to know for sure?

Flicking her tail in silent agitation, she came up on three other kin who seemed to be interested in moving a tree to act as a bridge. That seemed like a much better idea, but she felt sure that three kin couldn't move it alone. Perhaps not even four. These trees were much bigger than anything she'd seen before.

She waited for the other kin to finish speaking before nodding. "I will help as well, if you like," she said in her quiet voice.

An eagle? Well, they were strong enough to make off with a child, they were strong creatures. She had stumbled but had not been damaged to much and she was not going to turn back now. No back tracking, she would move onward. Even if that meet taking a life changing jump. And then some climbing.

Decision: A) You believe you can fly. Or, you know, jump. You sleuth out a ledge somewhere on the cliff, which brushes against some strong tree branches, which you can then use to climb down. Hey, you're a good climber. It's much better than backtracking.

How did all the Kin end up here, when clearly we all went very different ways. Beloved huffs a bit and tries to shake off tripping and choosing the wrong way. Confidence shaken, but beginning to sense not everything is bound by logic.....

She bravely, and perhaps foolishly, decides to go for it and fly her way to scout ahead!

You clearly went in the wrong direction. You're not sure how or why this is happening, but you've found yourself engaged in a strange hunting contest or territory battle between honking swans and vicious snarling hounds, with nothing kin-shaped in sight except for your fellow searchers. Abort, abort, abort... you're definitely noticed - and swans and hounds can be pretty vicious. Lose 5 HP, but gain 8 firefly followers for your valor. When you're back at the clearing, it's pretty obvious that everyone else has left for a particular cliff, so you head that way.

Bury moved towards the voices she could hear with a slight limp, mad at herself for getting nothing but hurt and wasting valuable time. She was sure the commotion was that of this places native wildlife, disturbed by something or someone, but it was nothing but a meaningless quarrel amongst themselves.

Every now and then she'd hear a flicker of small wings pass her ears. "Bugs.." What they were didn't matter to her. They did nothing now but distract her from hearing what she needed to, for she lost her sight long ago. The screech overhead was foreboding, reminding her the kind of danger the missing children could be in. She didn't have time to dwell on what the bugs could be or what injuries she may have sustained. It didn't hurt enough to hinder her significantly, or so she thought.

There's a felled log which you could use as a bridge - if you got some other kin to help you move it over. It'll be a group effort, because it's huge, but the trees here really are huge, and it's clear that it'll bridge the gap after some time spent working.

Bury listened tentatively as the other kin spoke, waiting for a significant silence to speak. "We will benefit from working together. I am willing to help, but we must work as quickly as our efforts will allow us."

Wings Sleep looked around, sides heaving from the climb. What is going on? She looks around to the others, confused. They weren't there when she woke...Maybe they were the voices she had heard and didn't go look to. Nodding to herself, she wondered how they all ended up in the same place though.
The eagle's cry gets her to scramble to look at it and follow it's flight. Eyeing it from the groups spot on the cliff, Wings plans to work with others to maybe figure out a way to get the logs together to make it over to the other cliff. Walking over to Bury, "I agree. Want to work together?" The doe looked to others, to see if more would be working towards the same goal of using the log.

"It would seem help has arrived." She said warmly at all the faces that had begun to gather. "As Keeper said already we are thankful for the help, I guess we should get pushing now." She said with a grin.

With that she got herself into place and pushed.
