Outside the city... Well, that certainly was a bother, though it made sense. From what he heard already about the people Ian lived with, they probably needed to be out there to have such a large sounding estate. Without his own car, it would be a bit awkward to go all the way back to the outskirts of the city, THEN return back to town...
"Ah.... That is a distance isn't it? Well then, I suppose that just means we should do the opposite then." Nischal smiled between bites of his own food. "I don't live very far from here at all, only a few blocks north in that one highrise... I would love to have you escort me home, and I can call you a cab or something if you'd like. There's also a fantastic gelato place on the way there, so we could still get some dessert." That would be better, right? It would be of little inconvenience to them both, and that way he could know for certain that the other would get home alright.
"If you wouldn't mind, I'd like to give you my number. That way you can text a little goodnight once you're home safe so you could ease my worrying heart."

Nodding his head to the others words. "It is a bit of a distance." Though he was used to it. He had never been much for gym in school, skipping it as often as he could, but he'd gotten used to walk over time as he would walk to his mother's job to bring her dinner often times. He'd just gotten used to walking more as he'd awoken as a senshi and then later once he'd moved in with the Jacob's, as he patrolled in the city and so had to make his way into the city by foot.
he'd gained a good amount of stamina when it came to walking and pacing himself for distance travel. He might not be a good fighter, or much of one, but he could walk and run easily at this point and he could go for a distance as well.
"That would be a good idea...ummm I've never had gelato though I've heard it's good." It was something he wouldn't mind trying at all actually, he'd heard it could come in odd flavors even and that did interest him - trying something new.
"We can do that tonight." Setting his fork down to find his phone, he had it in a pocket, he offered it over to the other. It was a normal iphone with some dark and misty sort of wall paper and once unlocked, which he did quickly, it revealed some gothic looking buildings and cobbled stones and it was interesting to look at and seemed to fit him and his taste.
"Would you really worry that much....about me?" They'd only just met and for the other to worry...it was flattering and had he not just spent the past how long with the other he'd have been surprised and shocked. But it seemed to be how the other was...and it was different but in a good sort of way. Kapoodles Once this ends we need to do follow up's and back date at least one or two.::nods::

"It's really just fancy, really smooth ice cream, so I'm sure you'll like it, if you like regular ice cream. It's a nice little place, calm and peaceful, almost kinda like a hole in the wall sort of place. Opposite of here, for sure." Not that this place wasn't wonderful in it's own right. Now that he knew more about Ian, even if just a little bit, he would try to make their next date a bit more personable, if there was a next one.
Once handed the phone, he quickly put in his number and name, before handing the phone back over. He was definitely an Android user so he fiddled with it for a while before he actually figured it out.
"Hrm...? Of course I would worry. Destiny City is a dangerous place, and you seem very kind... And I very much like you already, so I certainly wouldn't want you to get hurt out there. I mean, even if I didn't, I wouldn't want you hurt by those beasts that roam the streets of the soldiers that fight in the night."
Sleet Tempest Snape Sure! Just HMU with any ideas~ biggrin

"I like hole in the wall places." One of his favorites was a two floor place with music, live, played on the basement floor where food was also served. The second, or street level, floor was for more...adults. Parents to watch their kids or people who just didn't wanna be right on top of where the music was being played. It was a good place to here various kinds of music and have some good food - the only french fries he'd eat.
This place was nice though, a bit more crowded than he liked normally, but it wasn't bad. The games made it tolerable to him, as he wasn't much for large crowds of people. Just like the music, and good food, made the other place acceptable to him.
While the other fiddled with his phone he did the same thing, since he had a thing for apple phones. He didn't do other apple products, aside from itunes and his phone, his computer was a custom built that he'd had fun putting together. It allowed him to do whatever he wanted with his computer and set it to his needs...to be detail oriented with it.
Offering the other back his phone, and taking his own back, Ian found himself ducking his head and staring at the other from under his bangs. "It is dangerous...I think we're all used to it by now - which is sad really. No one should grow up used to this sort of thing." Yet they had, some even fought in it like he did.
"Beasts...you've seen them? And soldiers...I don't know if I'd call people in skirts soldiers...or the other ones that show on the news." But they were in a sense...weren't they? Deciding to stop talking Ian settled for finishing off his meal as quickly as he could. He didn't want to risk a slip of the tongue - that would be bad.

"Well then, this is perfect, I do hope you like it." Once his food was finished, which didn't take too long given how hungry had had been, Nischal wiped his hands on a napkin and sat back a bit, just allowing his food to digest and relax.
"You're very right. But no one really gets used to worrying about others, I think. We always do, but it'll never be a comfortable thing. If it does, well... I can see how that would lead to us losing what makes us human, bit by bit.... I have seen those monsters. Been attacked been rescued... It happens much more often than it should, but I can't just change my entire life due to fear. I don't think life would be very exciting if that were the case." Through his smile, a thought crossed Nischal's mind, about the war and his own senshidom. At this point, it wasn't really a war that he was a part of, just... He happened to have powers. That was alright, wasn't it? That he didn't want to fight anymore? "They fight to protect, just like soldiers do, why not call them that?"
His eyes managed to glance slightly at the time on his phone and he sighed just a little. Their reservation would be up soon, and they'd have to give up their own tables for some else. Which wasn't that bad of a thing, all things considered. It just was how things go.
"I think we can play a few more rounds before we have to go. Would you like to?"

"That's true...and I've found myself involved with those monsters as well - it didn't go too well." But he was alive and well, and without scars. He wasn't about to admit that he could handle himself in a fight against such monsters, since he was a senshi, it wasn't something he could tell the other. He could just hope to assure him of his own safety and that he could handle it. he needed to work on fighting and defending himself better - and he knew it.
"If we change our lives due to fear...we let it rule us. Then they really do become terrorists. I'm not willing to let them become my terrorists - I'll let other people be terrorized by them and alter their life due to fear." He wouldn't. Ian might not have that much of a life outside of the Jacobs home but he wasn't about to let that life be ruled or dictated by fear. He just had to be more aware of what could happen, since it seemed this city was rather prone to such things...to gatherings going bad.
"We could call them soldiers but I think that should be used by those who don't feel, and aren't, terrorized by them. People who aren't scared to go out and do things, like myself."
Blinking at the other as the topic was changed he nodded his head. "That sounds good. A few more rounds would be good and then we can go for ice cream." And then part ways and head home.

The talk of fear, of the senshi, and of the war that was raging in the dark had lost it's appeal in a discussed topic, so Nischal chose not to speak any further on it. It wasn't Ian's fault at all, but he had not come here to discus the politics that surrounded that world so heavily, and it was quickly putting a damper on his mood. He instead focused on their game, the last few rounds playing out pretty similarly, him doing fairly well and Ian simply wrecking the people they played with. All too soon their time was ended, and they left the venue together after having paid. The crowd hadn't exactly thinned out, but it did seem a bit lighter than when they first arrived. To avoid bumping into more people, Nischal gently guided his companion away from the entrance, off to the side where they could stand and talk for a bit longer.
"Are you still up for getting gelato? If you're feeling tired, I don't mind calling a cab to come get you." He paused, then shook his head slightly. "Not that I wish for us to part so soon... I just worry far too easily, and I know that sometimes crowds can get overwhelming, I'm the same way."
Sleet Tempest Snape I hope this was okay! If I should change anything, please let me know.

Crowds were overwhelming and they did tire him out, he had found years ago that being in crowds often resulted in him being tired and sleeping when he got home. It was just something which happened and he didn't think on it or bother with it really, he figured it was just draining to deal with all the people and he needed to recharge.
This time, for once, he didn't want to go right home and rest. Rather he shook his head at the other. "I'm fine, we can still go for gelato." He'd manage that, though he was a bit on the full side as dinner had been really good - and large. Ian however, wasn't going to turn his nose up on ice cream either.
"Lead the way." Though he was already moving to head outside of the restaurant, not wanting to be around such a crowd any longer. It was worth it, it really was, but it wasn't something he wanted to be around longer than need be. Kapoodles [Tag and if we want we can end here?

Once confirmed that they were okay to go out after their meeting, Nischal's smile widened greatly. He truly did not find himself wanting to leave Ian's side just yet, not when he found a great deal of happiness in his company. The loneliness and quiet that awaited him back home was not something he was ready for.
"Alright, it's not too far. I just know you'll love it. It has any flavor you can think of!" In his excitement, he reached out to loosely take Ian's hand, allowing for enough room for the other to slip away if he wanted. But to be honest, Nischal didn't want to let him go, not yet... Not when he finally didn't feel alone.
"Ian... It's been great spending time with you tonight. I hope we can get together again soon."
Sleet Tempest Snape Hnggg, sorry for the short/late post, Sure~ This is my last tag, and we'll talk about the next one! biggrin
