"That would be a good idea," the Naga agreed. "Letting them play for a few more minutes would calm Ayo down a bit."

Ayo began picking up seashells with both her hands and her mouth. She thought they were all pretty, the one she liked the most was a black shell that on the inside, when you held it up to the sun, sparkled into a rainbow of colors. The dragon was keeping this one; this one was prettier than the spiral shells she had found.
Gently holding that shell in her hand, Ayo began to search for more shells. She hoped that she could find more black shells that shimmered...

Rhine dug his snout into the dirt, and rooted. He had taken a notice at the shells she was most interested in. He himself turned up four, almost five. The fifth got cracked in the rooting up of the dirt. He lifted his head, and shook off. He gave a loud snort. "There yeah go."
Ceres smiled. "She seems to enjoy the beach. Rhine seems to have taken up digging... He is being a gentleman."

"Thanks Rhine!" Ayo smiled as she accepted the shells from the other dragon. Her favorite shell was still in her hands, and she wanted to keep with her always.
"Rhine, what is the name for black seashells with sparkly insides?"

"That is good," Lorelei agreed. "I also think that Ayo has found a shell she likes. I haven't worked on her hoard in ages."

Rhine shrugged a shoulder. "I've never thought to look such a thing up."
Rhine's stomach started to rumble as he gave a long yawn. "I'm starved. Let's go see if lunch is ready yet."
Rhine slithered up towards his mother.
"I've never made it a point to help, or search through Rhine's horde. I consider that something of a personal matter. If he wants to share, he would do so on his own." Ceres smiled.
Ceres noticed that Rhine was comming towards her. "He must know it is lunch time."
Ceres started to fix a plate for Rhine.

At the word lunch, Ayo zoomed towards her mother and Ceres. It was, however, a bit difficult with all shells she had in her hands. Still clutching the black shell, the female dragon made her way over to where Rhine, Ceres, and her mother were waiting.

Lorelei was dishing out some sushi when Ayo sat down beside her. "You must be hungry?"
"Yep, I sure am. Wow, you guys made sushi!"
The female dragon set her shells in front of her and began to eat off the Sushi Geta. While she was picking up the food with her fingers, she noticed her mother going through the shells.
"You want to take these seashells home?"
Ayo nodded, too busy stuffing her face with sushi...

Rhine snorted as he watched how fast Ayo ate. He himself didn't each much, but what he did eat he took his time.
Once finished Rhine rolled over onto his back, and streagthed out.
Ceres dug through the basket till she found a small bag. She emtied the contents and then handed it to Lorelei. "For Ayo's shells." Ceres smiled. "That way they won't get broken."

Ayo put all the shells in the bag, but kept the black seashell in her hand. "I wish I could wear this shell on me at all times."

Ceres packed up the area, and helped everyone into the carriage. Rhine wiggled his claws trying to get the last bits of sand out.
Once back home, Rhine got out a piece of slender silver rope from one of the kitchen drawers. "You can use this to make your necklace." He smiled.
"It has been great meeting you. We hope that you'll come again!" Ceres smiled.
Rhine nodded. "Again would be nice."

Lorelei and Ayo nodded in agreement as the two of them were ready to head back home. "Thank you so much! I hope we can arrange another play date soon!"
"Thank you! I'll see you later Rhine!"

Ceres walked them down the hall, into the back room. She opened the portal and waved them off. Rhine did the same.
