Marcus just sipped his spiced hot choco as he answered the death assistant.

"I'm Marcus." Another sip as the moon hunter just sort waited Mark to figure it out on his own.

"The guy who got RPats dead." Might as well own it.

Jake noped the ******** out.

Mark looked at Jason. He acknowledged Jason existed but steadfastly refused any advice because clearly, he knew what was going on already, and it involved threesomes, of which Jason was not invited to.

In no way was Caroline finding herself seduced by this attempt, but she was very good at pretending that she was. It usually worked out pretty well - free drinks, at a minimum - and if Mark had something interesting to offer here too, she could play.

"Oh, it'll be worth it," she assured him, hand resting gently on his shoulder, mirroring their actions from another story.

Unfortunately, it was only then that she discovered who he'd chosen to join them. When her eyes fell on Lucky, she froze, stare widening into the universal expression of 'oh s**t'.

"You, uh--hah, so, Mark--how about any of these...you know, any of these other..." All of her composure and any hints of her cleverness were gone, though her hand remained on Mark. She gave Lucky a sheepish, apologetic smile. "No offense, it's just--I mean, from the pictures and what I've heard from her--I'm just sort of like...well, like your half-mom. Third? Maybe just adopted. Uh--how technical are we getting?"

The same could be said about Milo, there had been a lot of activities he had apparently missed - more recently a good few. It didn't help when he found himself busy with other duties, most often at outposts so he didn't get word about the more fun things to do.

At least this time he had been around to hear about it, despite the weather but there seemed to be a remedy at hand besides the thick coat he wore over his official one. Noemi would instantly find arms wrapped around her from behind and a cheek pressed against the top of her head. "Noemi-chaaaan, it's cold ~" he whined in a fake child-like tone. He was though. And just like the missions, he dearly missed his favorite little Mist. It seemed like forever since he had last seen her. So, the hug served two purposes.

- Apparently he had gotten there just in time too. But urg, that was going to shorten the hug now that they had to get moving.

Lucky immediately stuttered, turned an interesting shade of red that had no relation to the cold weather, and joined Jake in hunching down and making dejected faces at Mark from under his hood.

"Wait, what, no, what --"

Mark's... proposition... gave Lucky a reason to finally take full notice of Caroline - and his eyes widened in that particular way that meant he knew exactly who she was, even before she'd confirmed it. Except for the adopted half mom part, that was new and definitely not something he wanted to discuss in a crowd of twenty people. He looked around and then back to Caroline, and shook his head a few times, because words were simply no longer happening.

Still looking like the human equivalent of a spooked cat, Lucky managed to clamber toward Shu, effectively hiding behind her as if she was a human shield against the hypothetical threesome.

"Just kill me," he managed to whisper to her before Caelius shoved him away right into Gale.

To be honest he should have known better NO ONE ESCAPED FROM DEUS.
He also should have known that taking a glance back was gonna cost him, and yet he did. The LAST THING he needed was for Mark to attempt molesting people in his half-drunk state and he definitely didn't want to be one of the victims.
Deeming that there was nothing but stupid shenanigans going on he turned back only to come face to face with the Death lead.

Oh ******** last thing he remembered was being tossed by Caelius and barreling Lucky over possibly saving him from the death assistant
