Adamaz walks into the Dry and Wet Goods Megacomplex and is immediately slammed to the ground by a bustling cart. A sparkling new hoverboard perched upon the other presents in the spoils chariot topples and nearly ends Adamaz's journey before it can begin - but stops just above his face. To be expected, really. Papa Roach intercepts the wayward shopper and gives them a stern talking to in a flash of antennae and fatherly fury. The day is saved... but it has only just begun.

The line for checkout is so large that it obscures the shelves of capitalist loot laid out to be merrily pilfered. Papa Roach batters his way through a number of unfortunate shoppers, and in the confusion, Adamaz finds himself able to slip by into the store proper with his own spoils chariot. He waits and waits for Papa Roach's valiant return, taking shelter inside the loot cavity for safety - soon another package - a microwaveable TV? - scuttles up and deposits itself into the cage. So returns the roach with the spoils of war. Already, Papa Roach had begun to look weathered. This must be accomplished quickly, or Adamaz would never make it out. They share a grim nod of resolution.

Espying a critical item of need, Adamaz wheels the already sagging spoils chariot towards the proper aisle. But the beautiful mug rests on the highest shelf... so in a brave maneuver, Papa Roach seats himself inside an empty FRS Water Bottle, and with a twist, Adamaz launchs his lusus out of the bottle like a rocket. The roach makes his mark, but only after slamming into one of the girders supporting the towering shelf. Seeing stars, but also sweet loot, Papa Roach tosses the prize down into the chariot below, landing the package into the cage with ease. Score! Adamaz only now realizes that his lusus now knows the what he may be getting, as per the mug's riding. Curse his poor reading skills.

There it is. The motherlode of all presents - a straight up motorbike. It is the last one, and so there is too a mighty brawl of festive trolls sprawling before it. Papa Roach easily scuttles his way through the fray, unnoticed, and snags the hefty prize for his boy, sweet boy. It barely fits in the chariot of spoils, but the race continues.

And then Adamaz sees what he could only dream of - a sound system. Perhaps he could make a meditation alcove that blasts nothing but sweet tunes? Or perhaps he could give it to someone who knows how to work it? Likely the latter. He has Papa Roach stealthily pilfer it from the wayward spoils chariot it was collecting dust in. Clearly no one had claimed this item; who leaves their spoils chariot? No one.

Eyzaak had heard about the shopping center and it's promise of goodies and deals abound. Earning Beetles around the Outpost wasn't that incredibly difficult when he was determined to get what he wanted. Not to mention they could always use more stuff! Gear always helped right? Having practiced reading with Tevini the small child stood with his lusus close at his side squinting at the different shopping malls. The pair had traveled all this way and would not be stopped by the crowds. Slowly sounding out each one, his eyes lit up as he tapped Sundry's shoulder. "Come on pal let's go in here!" He rushed forward, accompanied by the child's guardian he did not head the dangers of being trampled. Eyzaak merely pushed his way past other trolls. "YO! MOVE IT!" His hands latched onto what looked like a portable recuperacoon. That was so his, it would make traveling easier if he was ever away from home. Poor Sundry was left dragging the large package, helping put it in the cart the blueblood child was perched on. Anytime anyone nearly ran his kid over, the furry creature would purposely trip the individual to allow Eyzaak to continue on his path. Of course that also left Sundry to pull the cart around while he shouted, and occasionally hopped down to make a pathway for them.

Huge: N/AQuote: Gain 3 small presents / Lose 4 hp These three sticks of 'travel crunch' have expiry dates printed on their fading wrappers. The words are so old they're illegible. Eyzaak frowned at the packaging as he titled his head in consideration. Holding the travel crunch close he toddled over to make it part of the collection in the cart he'd started gathering. He wasn't done in this particular store and planned to look around some more. Sundry sighed dramatically as he pulled the cart down the next isle, glad at least his child was not screaming or shrieking like some of the kids he had seen as they moved around the mall block. Of course with Eyzaak he was never sure what he'd do, the distraction was a welcomed one.

Eyzaak's next find was something even cooler, at least by the troll child's standards. A lone game grub was on a shelf, barely out of his reach. He'd looked to his lusus with a bit of desperation, asking for him to help reach. While he was on limited funds, he'd gladly drop most of the things he'd already found just to get his paws on this particular item. He wasn't sure what it was really, but it looked fun when he turned it on so why not? Oblivious to his lusus’s apparent discomfort with having its tail occasionally stepped on by other shoppers, Eyzaak pushed at the cart to move them along at a quicker pace.

As he wandered the Military Surplus store, he came across a book. Eyzaak was still in the early stages of learning how to read, but the book could be added to a list of things he would learn how to read no matter how bizarre or complex. It was the principle of the matter..although as he tried to sound out a few things he got annoyed, flipping it in the cart. Sundry took a direct smack to the face from the guide the other had tossed his way. Juggling it, the lusus dropped it in the cart with a huff of irritation directed at their ward before it seemed to laugh in amusement and pull them towards the exit. "Huh? Okay I guess we can check out some other places." He agreed allowing his lusus to lead him around.

Eyzaak left with Sundry to do a little more mall hopping. Exploring the compound wasn't particularly easy when you were on a budget, but that didn't stop the small child. Leaving the Military Store to see what else could be found, he passed by a less impressive looking shack like place. Peeking in, he quickly located some root-vegetable decorated accessories. Giggling the boy admired the glasses he'd found, deciding to add the painted things to his list of gifts to hand out.

Eyzaak got hung up on the details of eyeballing all the different vegetables that had been painted on the glass. The boy tilted his head curiously, wondering which one was better than the other. Deciding he couldn’t make up his mind, he had added another two to his cart. Even if he put some of this stuff back later, it was pretty much like a treasure hunt. Eyzaak grinned, his snaggletooth poking out over his bottom lip as he hummed along to the soft music playing under the sound of the crowds of trolls clambering to get their hands on packages and deals. Sundry was still left dealing with the energetic boy and dragging the shopping cart that kept slowly being added to as Eyzaak combed the area.

Spending time in the Tubber Shack was great and all, but Eyzaak could always come back later and check it out. As he left the area, he glanced over at a strange rather lively store in the mall. Giving it a curious look he wandered into the mirthful building. Poking around, he found four naked clown jugs. The boy stared at them for a long while before deciding this shop really wasn't for him. Why would anyone what to paint t heir face like that anyway? Confused he wandered away from the store to find another to shop at that suited his tastes better.

He soon found exactly the kind of sweet place he was looking for. The enormous Megacomplex had him gasping in surprise as he rushed in, immediately rushing over to a huge crate. It was wedged behind a pile of mark-downed hammer pants. The boy gasped in delight. A motorbike?! It was the coolest thing he'd ever seen. The price tag made him gag, but he couldn't help admiring it as he tugged the huge present out into the open and sighed at it in an almost dramatic fashion.
