"Unpleasant information is still useful." He walked through the kitchen to turn on the television in the living room to the news. There were reports of the storm making it's way through town though seeing to hit random areas much harder than others. The snow it seems was icing buildings shut and freezing to everything it touched and they were urging people to stay indoors rater than trying to venture outside. "Your clothes must be damp. Set your things down and lets see if we can find you something dry to wear."

She stood watching the news for a second, brow furrowed until she realized he was talking to her. "... I didn't realize the weather was going to be quite this bad. Icing buildings shut? You might be stuck with me a little bit longer than either of us intended." Had she known that she might have tried a little bit harder to make it home. Hell, she might have even tried vanishing her bike into the same Negaspace she stored her weapon in. She doubted it would have worked, but she certainly would've tried. "Jacket kept most of it off, it's pretty good for riding in. Leggings are a little cold, though." So were her boots, for that matter.

"I should have some sweatpants you can wear while we get your leggings dry then." He kept an eye on the news as they continued to talk about the storms. The pictures of some of the buildings were rather interesting looking and there were even some videos of people trying to chip ice off doors. "I would rather you be safe than you try to make it home through all that." He shook his head, motioning for her to follow him so he could find her clothes. He headed upstairs to where the bedrooms were and pointed out the guest room at the end of the hall before heading down to his own past his office.

"You are incredibly considerate, all things considered." She watched him for a moment before following after him, taking in some things about his house to see if she could use it to glean any more information about the man who lived in it. When he pointed to the guest room she paused outside the door, watching him continue on. "Is there anything in the room I shouldn't touch or poke around at?" She called after him, figuring it would be best to make it clear that she was apt to be curious in a new environment.

Most of the decorations in his house were from his travels. He did try to keep things from the same country together but there were plenty of various things spread about. The pictures were mostly scenery rather than of any family or friends. "It's a guest room so I do try not to keep important things in there." He smirked as he paused. "But the tapestry in there is older so i'd prefer it not get poked at too much."

"Promise I won't poke at the tapestry." She drew an x over her chest with her finger before slipping into the guest room, tapping the door shut behind her. A low whistle passed her lips as she let her eyes drift over the room before plopping herself down on the floor to tug her boots off, not wanting to sit down on the edge of the bed with wet clothing on.

The room was nicely decorated, everything rather rustic and hand crafted with carved statues as most of the decorations. There were also a handful of plants keeping the statues company and giving the room a little life. He went to his own room and poked around in his dresser for a but until he found a pair of sweatpants that were small for him and a tshirt in case she wanted that as well. Once he had the clothes he headed back to the guest room, knocking lightly on the door.

She hadn't made it far beyond removing her boots and socks, wiggling her toes against the carpet as she gotten back to her feet. When the knock at the door came she slid over to it, opening it enough to peer out into the hall. "Still haven't touched the tapestry, Professor." A teasing smirk touched her lips, eyes gleaming as she glanced up to him.

"I wasn't really worried you would." He smirked, holding the clothes out to her. "These wont fit you perfectly but they should at least fit better than most of my things. I'll put your other things in the wash as well so they're clean and dry when you can leave." Once she'd taken the clothes he had another thought. "Are you hungry?" If they were going to be stuck for a while there wasn't any reason he couldn't fix them dinner.

"The 'boyfriend look' has been in lately, as far as fashion is concerned." A soft smirk touched her lips as she took the offering of warm, dry clothes from him with a 'thank you' afterwards. "Hungry? A little. I'd just gotten off of work when we ran into one another, actually. I can snack here and there at work, but I do try to not take in nearly as much sugar as one of my friends generally does on a daily basis." Katrina snorted softly as she shook her head. "With the weather I doubt anyone will be out and about offering delivery."

"I must say I don't usually keep up with what is and isn't in fashion. If you haven't been able to notice." He smirked. "Though I do suppose my own style does come back into fashion every once in a while." Knowing no one would be delivering he nodded. "Let me change clothes as well and I will cook us dinner. Would you prefer chicken or white fish?" He had plenty of things to cook and they since she hadn't eaten he might as well make them both something while he was hungry too.

"Never would have noticed if you hadn't said something. I think you look rather dapper in a very modern way." Her own smirk remained playful as she shifted on her feet, doing her best to ignore the damp cold sinking in through the clothes she hadn't gotten out of yet. "No complaints about either as long as you aren't planning on frying them-- Unless you were planning on making fish and chips. Surprise me?" Her brow quirked. "It's not like beggars can be choosers."

"I'll get something started while you get dry." He nodded, stepping back so he could go back down to the kitchen. While she got dry and redressed he poked around in the fridge and decided on roasting a couple of chicken breasts. He put the meat, some vegetables, and seasonings into foil packets before sticking them into the oven. While those cooked he got out some rolls he could heat up as well and put together a salad to go on the side as well.

She watched him around the corner of the door for a moment before ducking back into the guest bedroom. Once she nudged the door shut she took the opportunity to change. The sweatpants were a little big, his legs clearly longer than hers. She rolled the waistband until it settled comfortably on her hips, ignoring the t-shirt that he'd offered in favor of leaving on the tank that hadn't gotten wet beneath her sweater and motorcycle jacket. A flannel to throw over her tank might have been nice, though, and briefly she thought of James and the various button-downs that he had. With a low curse at herself she shoved the thought away, shaking her head as she gathered her things to bring downstairs with her. "You didn't say where the dryer was..."

He was finishing slicing up tomatoes for the salads when she appeared and he took a moment to look her over. He was a bit surprised she hadn't put on the shirt but if hers was still dry he couldn't make that much of a complaint. "No. I hadn't." He pointed at a doorway across from the kitchen and just a bit down a small hallway. "Door there is the laundry room." The dryer was a bit fancy but easy enough to operate since you just had to push a couple buttons on the touch screen to get it going.
