Well, young meant smaller teeth and that worked for him. He shook his head. "Is it okay?" He hoped it was okay, because now that he had asked he knew he would have to go save it if it wasn't.

"Maybe we should check on it tommorow just to make sure." In daylight so there was less chance of being eaten. He snorted.

"I would feel better coming back in the daylight where we might be of more help, in the dark we run the risk of getting eaten ourselves by whatever else is out there." It felt like all of his hair was standing on end which would be quite the feat at this length.

"If its meant to be it will be here tomorrow, there might not be anything wrong with it anyhow." He peered back out at the eyes which peered back. Creepy darkness lizard.

"Yes definitely in the day."

"If you want to we can, they look nocturnal," he shuddered. Hide under your bed and scare you nocturnal. "Maybe if we let the tamer know its out there, they can deal with it." And he could stay away from the teeth, and more importantly Trelly could too. "I think its getting a little chilly out here, don't you?"

He was getting a little cold, probably from the imagined mortal peril but hey what could you do.

"Sounds good to me," he said and scurried after her. It had been a nice walk overall, next time he would ignore disembodied eyes and continue about his buisness.

Soon enough they arrived at the door which he held open for her. And he always would. Before he knew it his hand was in that infernal drawer after the coconut sweets. He only took one.

"See this is why I hide them."

Theriar froze for a moment, but relaxed when her lips touched his neck, she had quite the leap on her for a short little earthling, truth be told she wasn't really all that short, he was just super tall was all.

He laughed to and did his best to tickle her with one arm while supporting her perch with the other.

"Is this what you wanted all along to get me alone all to yourself? You should have dragged me back a long time ago little one."

"Me too," he said as he sat on the couch and fake squished her against the soft cushions. "You have a tenacious grip you know," he wiggled his bum and giggled.

"So how is that new batch of oysters going? Do you need some more poles yet?" You could tell the difference between old and new from the color of the wood..and the number of barnacles.

He was still interested in them, but well, they were not fish which you practically had to chase which was practically hunting which ran in his blood.

"Sand, do they have little arms or something? How do you tell them apart from sand?" He slouched down and relaxed utterly. He was full and content and happy. He cracked a lazy eye at her and closed them, listening to the muscial cadence of her voice. All the more precious for how rare it was. He wondered if she sang to her oysters when no one was looking.

"Shiny oatmeal, I'll keep an eye out and collect any I find." They sounded cute like little flakes which eventually grew into big ugly disk things that made pretty things. Nature confused him some days.

He snaked his hand over to play with hers. He had never felt so relaxed in all his life. "Pity I couldn't farm fish, I see some pretty little colorful ones sometimes, no good for eating of course but they are are beautiful." Sometimes he fed them, wading out into the shallows with bread crumbs and lured the yellow and blue things toward him so he could get a better look.
