Charity1stPaw Queentintin Our dog Chummy passed away, just last weekend, I miss him greatly, such a great dog, unconditionally loved us, heart  Awww! *grabs Queen and cuddles* Thanks, i miss him, the little guy, he lives a long life, 15 yrs old =)

heart One of my favorite hens passed away today, she was old, 5 yrs, produced a lot of blue eggs, and babies, I'll miss her, maybe silly, but I felt sad, cried some , don't think less of me xd heart she was beautiful. last few weeks, we had tried to help her eye infection, by adding antibiotic drops, was helping, but I guess she was not strong enough to want to live anymore! sad she was pretty heart heart heart  spent a bit of time trying to upload this, so you can all see her biggrin

Aww, she's beautiful. I'm glad you got a pic of her. heart I'm ALL about animals, and it makes no difference what type. If it has touched our heart, then we mourn them. emotion_hug

can you see the 2nd hen, greyish nearest left, near the rose bush? well she was Gertrude, and got eaten by a fox! sad I liked her heart

Queentintin can you see the 2nd hen, greyish nearest left, near the rose bush? well she was Gertrude, and got eaten by a fox! sad I liked her heart You know....I like foxes but when it comes to protecting the chickies....I'd be putting something out to keep the foxes away from them and it probably wouldn't be nice things that I'd be sitting out to keep my chickies safe (if I kept losing them to the predators). Maybe, you need a Sheepdog, an Irish Wolf Hound, a Tennessee Walker Hound, a Coon Hound, a Beagle, a Collie, or some other type of dog that will protect your chickies.
