Tri looked up at Zaku with a glare without giving a response but it didn't stop him from eating the rest of the dessert. He cast a glance toward where Stormy went but made no movement to try and stop her even if the thought of sharing has crossed his mind. It was something he would have done with Ree or Hexxis and the twins he was having a hard time connecting with. Finishing he looked at Zaku still frowning but nodded slightly. "Thank you for the food, it was .....good" he said reluctantly but Mara at least taught him some manners.
Akash blinked and looked after Stormy, looking alarm then relieved and he just pushed away from the table and followed her. Glad not to be there any more and the food.. blah.
DH blinked and looked between Zaku and Tri as she ate with faintly raised brows then looked after Stormy and Akash and frowned faintly. The next surprised was when Tri complimented Zaku's cooking, she wanted to get up and go after them or at least look in the kitchen but she wanted to see how Zaku reacted. This was to interesting to miss.
Wizard continued eating, looking at DH with a flicker of confusion then looking back at the other two.

His dumb grin softened into an endeared genuine smile as Tri thanked him for the food and even complimented him. His mind was racing and his chest was doing backflips, but on the outside he just kept a soft smile. "Thanks... hopefully I can cook for you again some time... For once, I actually had fun." he commented smoothly as he almost appeared content with the results. It wasn't until he noticed Stormy get up and leave followed by Akash that he frowned. He looked away, thinking for a moment before sighing and getting up with the intent to go after Stormy and Akash before looking unsure. They hated him, and really doubted they'd like to even talk to him. Defeat weighed on his shoulders as he contemplated whether to go to them or not. Looking back at DH, he almost looked like he was pleading for an answer, knowing that she always had a better time figuring out when was a good time to approach the twins and when to steer clear of them for a while.
Stormy immediately threw herself back onto the bed, shoving her face into the pillow as she hugged it. She was annoyed and angry, the obvious distaste for everything clear on her face. She was silent as she lay there, thinking about how she just wanted Zaku and Tri to leave already. She didn't like either of them, but no matter what, they always found a way to stay and annoy her. Exhaling deeply, she closed her eyes for a moment, only opening them to look at Akash when he entered the room, frowning before closing her eyes again in frustration.

~I'll go talk to them...just .. if you make dessert for one make them for all so they don't feel left out. ~ she muttered quietly to his mind but was smiling very faintly as she looked at him intently, seeming to be staring right through him even if there was a flicker of sadness on her face. ~Good job, good job!. You did it and it came out edible!~ she congratulated him with a chuckle as she patted his shoulder trying to remind him of what just happened even as Tri looked between them with a suspicious look.
Getting up she made her way tot he kitchen only to find that as she thought Zaku had made only one. Grabbing some cake mix and chocolate powder she quickly made cake in a cup with whip cream. Once done she grabbed both cups two spoons and headed to their room, lightly knocking with her foot as she stood outside the door. ------------------
Akash moved to his bed and crashed down on it as he grabbed the tablet to continue another new travel show. "That tasted horrible" he mutter, thinking she left because of the taste and even if not it was horrible. He tensed suddenly and sat looking toward the door wide-eyed.
---------------------
Trisuri watched DH leave as well and turned his attention to Zaku suspiciously. "I hope you're not making any new fantasies... I atebut after questioning you wi will be leaving " he stopped suddenly and glared taking his phone out and glancing down at the text with a frown. Looking at Wizard he frown suddenly serious. "Is that true?"
Wizard nodded quietly as Tri's phone vibrated again.
Tri looked down and just frowned. "I will be stayed a few more days" he said abruptly without explanation as he pocketed the phone again and looked at the cup with a frown then up at Zaku. "But that does not excuse you from your side of the deal"

Zaku gave a small nod to DH as she moved out of the room. He'd have been more happy about the success of his cooking and compliment from DH but he felt bad for excluding Stormy and Akash. Looking to Tri, he shook his head. "No. No new fantasies here." he commented calmly before quirking an eyebrow to Tri's phone, looking over to Wizard then back to Tri again.
His smile was returning as Tri announced he was staying a little longer now, for whatever reason, it didn't matter to him. He chuckled at the mention of his end of the deal. "Of course, I told you I'd tell you everything you wanted to know, so if you ask, I'll answer honestly. I'll always throw in stuff I feel is relevant. Basically, nothing is off the table, as promised." he gave a half-smile. "What did you want to know?"
Stormy didn't respond to Akash's comment, but she did get up off the bed, moving as if to walk over to his bed and crawl in with him but paused halfway there as there was a knock on the door. Looking over at the door, to Akash, then to the door again, she walked over and opened the door, looking annoyed. She saw it was DH and her expression softened only slightly, only to look away with a displeased look that almost appeared to be hiding something deeper down. She sighed and moved out of the way to let DH into the room, moving back over to her own bed and sitting on the edge, pulling her pillow up into her arms to hug it as she stared angrily down at the floor in silence.

Tri looked away from Wizard and stared at Zaku with a calculating looks. "Why not something simple first. Who is the person yo continue to confuse me with?"
Akash was already getting settled when he heard the knock on the door and tensed watching Stormy open it. Spotting DH on the other side he looked relieved then went back to his tablet.
DH stared at her and sighed quietly as she followed her into the room. Looking at Akash she noticed he was already lost within the video on the screen, something that worried her every day but on the upside kept him out of trouble. Placing the quickly made cake-in-a cup on the night stab by him she turned and moved back to Stormy.
"Want dessert?" she asked quietly staring down at the finely combed black hair and ethereal feather ornament. Making a soft sound in her throat she shifted wings until she was leaning against the bed and crouches down so she was at a more even height with Stormy. "Or would you like to rage about it?" she with with only a flicker of a smile.

Zaku awaited the first question, and it was definitely one that hit deep. He gave a somber look away for a moment before taking a breath. "I think I know what you're talking about.. That would be my ex-husband Rasiel. Yes, the infamous one. And before you say anything on that, he didn't actually do what they claim he did. Just like you're not a bad guy either like Criel wants to think you are. Someone framed him." He leaned back in her chair, thinking more on it. "I met him all too long ago. He was a mess. Afraid. Lost. I took him in, and Gaia was he damaged. Likely tortured for years by his malice. He never told me much about her, just that he never wanted to go back. I don't blame him after everything that happened. We were married and had an egg, maybe because I was a little selfish and I wanted to give him a better reason to live. We got split up returning and I went back home alone with the egg... I was greeted by her. I was able to protect the egg, but my life became forfeit. I fell into a coma because of her. And our egg was cared for by those at Spectrum Research. When I woke up again, Rasiel had moved on back to his ex..." there was a twinge of anger in his voice, "Melody was never cared for, later to be taken by SIU and ultimately stayed there. And Hexxis had never even existed to him."
Zaku appeared slightly troubled by what he was talking about before he looked at Tri with a serious look then softened into one of sympathy. "You may look and act a little like each other.. but I know the difference between you two. You both have your similarities, but you're far more put together than he is. You have goals, a family that you care about... He's still stuck trying to handle his anger and lashing out at others like an idiot. So, yes, you're both just as stubborn... but where he would have folded so much longer ago in this conversation, you're still holding your ground. Holding onto who you are, because you are you." he paused, his voice lowering. "I respect that." he added then took another breath before falling silent.
She didn't even look at DH, but merely listened. She shook her head at the offer of a dessert, still focusing her gaze downward. Then there was the offer to rage about it, something she would normally take up the chance at, but even that was appealing for once. She shook her head again and gripped the pillow in her arms tighter, frowning. There was a very long pause of silence before she shifted her eyes to the side in anger and embarrassment as she carefully moved the pillow to the side of her and she leaned over to put her head on DH's shoulder and sighed, still saying nothing.

Tri narrowed his eyes, he had the suspicion that it might have been it but no confirmation. Here was the confirmation and the reason none of them could find Rasiel, he did not have looked like his picture any more. The red hair and eyed demon must have dyed his hair maybe even changed his face?
He said nothing though, giving Zaku his undivided attention as he gave him the information of how he fell into coma and even hints of Rasiel's personality. It might be seven years old but it is still the freshest information they have since he went into hiding. Sure... Zaku would say he was framed, maybe he was even on Alice's death but they had his DNA on multiple of others.
Still he said nothing, the only time his masked cracked slight and in relief was when he mentioned that Rasiel didn't even know of Hexxus existence. Now Melody...she was with Mara and that could be trouble. Especially after assuming Zaku was the only interested party.
At the last part he narrowed his eyes as Zaku spoke looking at him in sympathy as he compared him and the Killer as if they were brothers who had a slightly different upbringing. Shaking his head in disbelief he sighed and looked up again "I've never been so insulted...you're comparing him and me as if we were somehow related. As if it is surprising I act differently when we..must look alike? I am sure you've seen his original picture ..." he looked like he was about to say more but stopped and leaned back, wings shifting out of the way.
"Never mind, let's move on" he continued, knowing he had gain a lot of valuable information he had not expected. Rasiel was still alive and an ex? That could maybe easily be found by asking a few of the former students...like Syth.
"Why was your reason for creating the renegades and helping metas?"
------
DH looked surprised but silently put the second cup on the nightstand as Stormy leaned her head against her. Saying nothing but shifting her wing to support Stormy she moved and sat by her, a more comfortable position for both of them. Flicking a wing out behind her she kept it close but didn't touch her. "About Tri and Ura?" She asked quietly since that was the point of the outburst but not having thought Stormy would catch it.

Zaku shook his head, not even mad at Tri's sudden shift into anger. "If I remember correctly, I've never done anything to compare either of you. In fact, you're the one that assumed I did. Which I have no idea why you'd think that." he frowned with a slight concern. "Honestly, you're both very different, and that's what I was trying to tell you. You may look alike, but I don't see you as the same." he sighed, shaking his head quietly, calm and a bit somber.
Let's move on. Fine. "I was orphaned after dealing with Haven facilities. I was in a meta orphanage in [city] where I spent a lot of my time as a teenager. I had given up on the world. But one day, I was saved by Andy after a bunch of anti-meta protesters tried to burn down that orphanage. She saved us all, risking her life to do so. I ran after her, found her almost dead in an alleyway and I healed her as thanks. She spoke of a world where Metas weren't oppressed and killed. How haven would be eradicated and she'd do anything to reach that world. It wasn't fair for us. I understood that, even if her ideals were violent in their application, I knew I could help her achieve that goal. I didn't want to kill anyone unless it was necessary. We formed the renegades to try to garner rights for metas. I would be the mouthpiece and she would be the brawn."
She sighed, keeping her head on DH's shoulder. She looked like she wanted to hug her but was reluctant. She hated touching people, it made her skin crawl and it was never pleasant. Akash was the only person that didn't do that to her, and she never understood why. DH asked about Tri and Ura, and she tried to think of the words to say. "I don't like them." was all she could manage before frowning more, trying not to start crying.

Tri raised a brow silently at that but didn't continue the earlier conversation, and slowly the anger faded and he was listening to Zaku's with a stoic face. It was one of those times he wished Mara or Ree was there to help him with the nucences of things.
Shifting into a slightly more comfort position he listened to how Zaku and Andy met. From rags to power, a rare combination of luck and push but then again Zaku always seem to have a touch of luck on his side and Andy as well.
The brains and the brawns analogy concerned him, Andy had always been the violent one it seemed. He could easily see her molding Zaku to how she view things, making him more open to violent ideas or reactions like the murder squad even if he kept the core of himself. Zaku was the brains not Andy..if she molded him because he was young then it might have been unintentional. Or was he just trying to find reasons to not blame him for being who he was? A disturbing thought...
"So you dealt with Haven. How were you captured, treated, and escaped?" He asked quietly as if this was an interrogation and he was forcing himself to act accordingly instead of lashing out as he had been recently, especially after the kiss.
-------- DH didn't move, letting her initiate contact if she wanted instead she gave a slight nod of her head at the confirmation. Frowning slightly at Akash who already had earbuds in his ears and was ignoring them both.
"They aren't easy to like and after what happened I don't blame you. " she said quietly loooking back to Stormy. "Truthfully Tri makes me nervous after what he did to you but his heart. Hm...he doesn't hate you, it doesn't excuse anything though. Still is there one you like more than the other? "

His next question caused a pause from Zaku, a pain deep in his chest as he recollected the answer to that. It was an especially painful memory of his, his mood shifting into one of sadness and slight distress.
"Well, I told you a little about it back at the temporary safe house..." he started, taking a deep breath as he leaned forward with a grim look. "I was an orphan from the beginning. Silver took me in, even if she didn't have much to give me at the time. We lived on the streets, with nothing to our names, but we made do. It wasn't until she started getting really sick that we were finally captured and taken in by Haven Research, before they had been found out and started to hide their name. I made a deal with them.. I would use my powers to aid them, work for them, and in return, they would let Silver stay with me and they would leave her alone. They agreed to it." he ran a hand through his hair. "I.. I used my voice, to convince other Metas to come to the research center. To do their part in aiding Meta research. I thought I was doing good. They were nice to me, I was never experimented on like most had come to be. I lived a fairly normal life with them, I made friends, I horsed around, I was cocky and hard-headed but compliant. I didn't know any better about what was really happening." Closing his eyes, he took a deep but shaky breath. "After everything with Silver happened... after finding out I had been responsible for the death of every person I had ever recruited in the five years I lived at Haven... I lashed out, I started a revolution with the Metas that were left. I used my voice against Haven, rallied the patients to take back their lives. In the end, we burned the facility to the ground and those that were left, went about their ways. As for me.. I ended up in the orphanage." Zaku fell quiet, looking absolutely distressed about the past as he held his head in his hands for a moment, trying to breath, just attempting to steady himself again, although it was far more difficult than used to. Taking another deep inhale, he held it then released it. He remembered a time when he had claimed he'd never leave the renegades, that he'd never give up and here he was. He was beginning to feel terrible, a sick sensation in his stomach as he recalled when he told Tri before that he wasn't the kind of person to cause so much damage and then leave it for someone else to clean up. He had been so driven to that goal without falter, but then he chose to be with the twins so easily, practically jumping at the chance for a way out once again. Just like before. It wasn't fair, but what else could he do. Tri had been right, the renegades didn't need him, and even if he had stayed, they would have overthrown him before too long anyway. But even with that reasoning, it didn't make the horrible churning in his gut cease for a second.
"I want them both to go away.." she muttered softly, sighing but not moving from her position. DH's question caused her to pause, deepening her frown before she closed her eyes, hesitated then hugged DH carefully. "Not them." she mumbled, tightening her grip slightly, but she was already shaking.

Don't pity me
Echos of the time they were in the safe house flittered through his mind. Zaku's words, his background as he himself hid from the rest of his people in the room. It was his own mistake for not escaping sooner if he had...wasted all his jumps, warned where the Renegades were.....he would still be with Mara, Hexxis would still be here and there was still a possibility that they could have helped Ree somehow.
His gaze harden and he nodded, remembering keypoints but it didn't matter there was someone else there with better memory than him if he missed something. "So after you joined with Andy what did you both do? How did you both start the murder squad and other fractions of the Renegades?" he continued quietly, ignoring the look of distress on Zaku's face as if he was reaching some type of realization.
--------------------------------------
Looking down at her sadly DH reached out and carefully hugged her back, moving her wing in closer. "They won't... they both feel a need to keep you both safe until you're older. whether you hate them or not" she revealed quietly. "You don't even like Ura?" she asked curiously having had assumed he had a little more pull on Stormy...Tri...well it was laughable but she had to ask before just encase.

Zaku kept his head in his hands, considering the questions, "We devised a plan. She and I could rally people to the cause. I'd be the face, the leader. And she would move people. In fact, she lead the renegades for the seven years while I was in a coma. The renegades were as much hers as they were mine." he then looked up and shook his head. "The renegades expanded fast, spreading like wildfire through the hearts of metas. With such a large amount of people joining, they sought solice in each other, forming team, competing to be the best. It was natural. Andy's sister, Blaise created a team of her own... ahh I don't remember what name they had chosen for themselves but they quickly became the most effective renegade team under the Efficacious Eight. But their methods were wrong, they were out of control and didn't care. They gained the nickname 'Murder Squad' from the other renegades. Everywhere they went came destruction." he explained softly before looking down again.
She felt DH's hug, she wanted it to comfort her, but her skin was already crawling in protest, a horrible feeling she was pushing through. Stormy heard her words but she only tightened her grip in the hug. "No!" she exclaimed suddenly before becoming quiet for a bit. "...I don't want to go with Other Dad..." she commented softly, a sniffle starting in as she was trying so hard not to start crying.

Tri stared at him intently, trying to understand then shaking his head. So these past 7 years it has mostly been Andy?. "You're saying their wrong and out of control... then why didn't you do something about it?" his narrowed his eyes silently as he waited for the response.
------------
"They aren't leaving yet" she said quietly. "Eventually Tri will leave again.." starting to figure out the pattern even if she had a guess why he was doing so. "and you'll stay here...or you can start traveling like you both wanted if one of them take you with them"

"I figure that would answer itself. I can't take them. Maybe if I hadn't been in a coma, I could have stopped them before they got so out of control, but they are too strong of a team. You saw.. how they were planning on overthrowing me already now that Andy wasn't in the picture anymore. I'm not the best at defense. I can manage to escape on my luck alone.. fighting or controlling them is not something I'm capable of. I've tried. The only thing I could do, it keep them close. Keep an eye on them. Other than that, I was doomed to fail on that front." he confessed with a sigh.
"No!" she exclaimed again, starting to get frustrated. "I don't want to go with Mr. Dad.. and I don't want to stay with Other Dad!!" she yelled, muffled into DH's clothes. Her skin was building a slight bit of static, a small sensation of minor electricity that tingled but didn't hurt, however, it was a warning sign for how upset she was getting as her electricity would only build if it kept up. "I... I..." she was crying, and getting more frustrated by the second.

Tri opened his mouth then stopped and shook his head. Murder squad should have went the way of their name and it would have been easy while he was there. So many things he should have done while he was there instead of just waiting to see. Poison and escape.
Ree or Mara would have thought of a different way and Zaku....they were his people. He could understand how Zaku reluctant to move against them even if they were violent and against his own principles. They were Andy...they should have gotten rid of her the moment they had her instead of playing around.
Taking a breath he sighed "You couldn't take them even with the support of everyone else" a statement instead f a question as he focused on Zaku again. "How many members do you have? how integrated are they? and had Murder squad planned to do after kicking you out?"
---------------
DH frowned slightly but didn't move away as she felt the slight buzzing against her skin. She held her potion one arm around Stormy gently, very gently holding her. "Did you want yo stay with us?" she said assuming it is what she wanted.
