Lah'ren Strongjaw Lah'ren chuckled. after finding a few good sticks he dug into his bag. " you would be without pain if you had seen the battlefield a bit more then you did." he said as he tied the tree limbs together, with rope that seemed handmade, " i plan to go to the tribe now. the gozul have been getting really cocky. across this sea where the boat lies. i have seen fire in the night. i will seek the wisdom of the elders. the gozul gaining more power is a threat to us." he handed her a walking stick made of five sticks that where tigh high for her. they where tied up. " and to get you healed up. i have decided you will be my wife."

When he mentioned that she would be his wife Khree'en's lips pressed together firmly, but she would let out a deep breath "If that is your wish" she said to him, she saw the benefits to being the chiefs wife, she could possibly use this to her advantage.

Lah'ren Strongjaw Lah'ren chuckled but this time it did nto seem to be a jovial one " a child is expected to calm the anxious one. but what i seek is to strengthen the Rhen. to make us truly strong and not a band of rascals." there was an edge to his voice. even with his back to her she might be able to sense his eyes looking beyond the land to a future. " i will fidn what strength is and i will force it to bend to my will." he gripped his axe. " if they dont view us as a threat that means we can striek hard and fast and surprise them. it also means that the rumors might be true. and they have a new chief."

Which adds to our strengths, because they do not know whom they are dealing with any more" she said to him.

Lah'ren Strongjaw Lah'ren nodded. what she said was true. but he alsohad other ideas. " like my father before me I want to make a strike force that can be effective in multiple situations." he frowned. he admitted to her his weakness. he did not know how well known it was. but reguardless. " I should not have been born the chiefs son. my mind wonders to the world of phobos we have not belong to for generations. they hold more power then we do. I wonder about accepting some of that power. of finding ways to make that power ours. I have begun to learn to read their writing."

She knew that she would have to have a child, unless she could persuade the chief to take a harem...but if that meant the betterment of her tribe... Khree'en took a deep breath, she would have to find a way to suck it up "I want the tribe to move into the more....the city people call it civilized world" she said to him "From what I have gathered, they are able to care for more people and if they manage to rally them the Rhen and the Guzul are both dead, we do not stand a chance against them..." she said "I want the Rhen to begin to enter such a time, where we can have our own village and food, instead of having to follow the tracks of the animals for days and hope we do not return to a starving family." she said to him "Will you give this consideration?" she asked him.

Lah'ren Strongjaw Lah'ren stopped moving. He stared at the Khree'en for a good teen seconds before he curst out in a joyful laugh. the giant fell on his knees his arms at his waist as he laughed. the lines on his face relaxed and he seemed to have become younger if only slightly. He laughed for a full minute and finally stood up. he seemed to be a much more jovial mood. seeming more confident. " I can do more then consider it. it is my view that strength most be taken and brought from the inside out. and those of the city while some have forgotten there strength I think they have found other forms of it. yes... I think I like your idea. tho it is one the tribe itself wont like. to us our strength comes from surviving such harsh things."
