Company | Hysteria Money | $300 EC Mood |Worried Agnés pursed her lips. Arming the citizens may not be a declaration of war, but it was always these kind of small seeds that would cause plants to grow in conflict. However, she hardly had as much wisdom as Shiphera. She had seen the world change in different bodies, able to take note of everything. Meanwhile, Agnés continued to age and could only aid the people when the time called for it. Hysteria of course would understand the need. "The eastern border from Ethe.. It is such a shame that they had to leave their home. I honestly hope that they will find a place to settle that would grant them happiness and healing." she murmured. Her eyes clouded as she continued to talk of the late queen Enthrallia. The slaughtering of people, thousands, maybe millions. However, that was all in the past. All they could do was really learn from it. Of course, that is all people could do in the face of history. "Of course, I mean nothing from it. In any case, I still would have preferred you met with the council. Perhaps the Civic Guard captain child would have something to say..." she continued, but let the subject drop.
"You be dead? No, you of all people shall be able to see that day." Agnés replied. She did not actually know of Hysteria's loss of her ability. And honestly, perhaps it was for the better. Agnés had seen so many of their old friends pass from one world to the next due to old age and disease. In reality, she and Hysteria were one of the last people of their actual generation; And that terrified Agnés. While she isn't afraid of death, she was afraid of departing from her friendship. "My, Roland has the ear of the King's daughter? Will we be hearing any wedding bells in the future?" she asked with a laugh. She had seen Roland and 'Hysteria' grow up since they were wee babies. The fact that they were old enough to marry was beyond Agnés's expectations. If following the bloodline, they must be Shiphera's great grandchildren or something along the lines? "Hmm, Ethe would most likely be grateful. As of now, they are relying on the other kingdoms for all produce. I believe they would agree to such terms."
The next statement about Phobos however had Agnés staring at Hysteria with huge, silver eyes. King Herod was a good man? But what of his siblings. The sister is said to have eyes hollow as night. The second brother had either blown himself up in Ethe or something along the lines. And the last child is not even half alive because of his horrendous health. "Hmm, I am glad the boy can make up for this father then." she replied, and then her eyebrows soared as the statement connected two and two together. Herold had an heir and had the blood of Bellris AND Phobos? Only Hysteria would do such a thing! "My, Hysteria, you naughty! Is that why you have been disappearing?"

Hysteria Izadora Bellris EC: $500Clothing: Black DressMood: Hesitant Hysteria looked at her oldest friend and smiled "None the less if all goes well with Zalto we will have a significant backing" she said to her, turning her head to look at her "I doubt that we will even start this project without conveining with the other leaders that want to be apart of such a thing, so when it comes to the road we will most likely end up speaking with them as well, in order for it to go though" she said to her before looking at the window and the rain starting to come down quicker but still light "We have plenty of food to spare for Ethe, After all we're growing enough that the people feel safe having extra children, according to the village records we get every year the birth of children has gone up by one, and the chance of them living because of the food output has doubled." she said to her "But if I remember correctly within the last seventy plus years I have been around, With more food and more children surviving the less people have children, so I think what will end up happening if this continues is that less children will be born within the coming years but they will most likely live into adulthood." Hysteria said calmly and bit her lip as she thought about it "We also need the weapons for the people to protect themselves from the monsters within our boarders" she said to her "It will also make the people feel calmer with all the changes that we have managed to make this year, they are antsy. Use to a monarchy, that is something that will take more time then just passing a couple bills" she said to her and then chuckled as she looked down at her stomach and let her hands run down and she smiled "Yes, naughty naughty me" she said with a chuckle "I must admit, having my first child all those years ago was painful, but being able to raise it and love it until it was time for me to go was one of the greatest points of my life...and yet" she said and sighed "I'm a little worried about the pain that I will feel again." she said and smiled "At least i'm older this time, maybe it will be less painful now?" she said it as a question "I am hoping that its a son, if it is then it will be a higher chance that he will be able to take the throne in Phobos, or perhaps a strong women, Phobos could use a woman's touch.

Company | Hysteria Money | $300 EC Mood |Worried Agnés nodded, taking in Hysteria's words. Plenty of food for Ethe, that was certainly a relief. Just months ago, there was a good shortage and priorities had to be taken sadly. Agnés had tried her most to help the people, but people inevitably died. Knowing that there was enough food for people to be safe was good. With the population fluctuation, that would make sense. While there were less mouths to feed, it would also be difficult to manage as many large projects. There would be a larger, older population that the younger population would eventually be responsible of; And that alone was often a difficult situation because pressures and responsibilities are thrown around between generations- Agnés too had to eventually pass her own seat in the council to hopefully one of her descendants. However, Agnés hardly trusted her family to rightfully hold the seat just yet.
Agnés laughed, glancing at Hysteria's abdomen. "With life comes experience. You will be ready and it will be less painful." she replied, recalling the times she had given birth. Three beautiful children, all varying ages and leading different lives. Agnés sure wished that they would keep in contact more often. She wished to see her dear grandchildren soon. "Whether son or daughter, the fact is that they will have your blood, and they will be strong." Agnés commented. Though, it would be difficult for such a child to take the throne. After all, Phobos was a monarchy and was violent by nature. "My dear, I must ask, when the child is born, where will they be raised? It would be difficult to set them on the throne, especially with how Phobos throne can be changed by the Lionis Empire; The Emperor would never allow such a thing."

At first Roland wasn't sure about aiding this art for it talked an awful lot about the inner dramas of the life of royal living but at the same time that was what convinced Roland to spend his gold on this peice of work to be completed. It was outside at a stone bench that Roland sat, with the garden sitting squarely within the outside castle walkways. It use to be that only he and his family could enjoy the bountiful flora and herbs which grow fully here in this place, but now it brings his heart much joy to see the children being taught botany by the teachers of the school this castle has become. While looking out from under the shade of stone structure Roland's rich ruby eyes drink in the peace and his breath of serenity ensures him that all his hardships in the civil war was not for naught. Now if only he could improve his republic even more; The heart of a prince never satisfied with leaving things as only "okay" or "good enough".

Baroness Youkimi Kai Living today without a way To understand the weight of the world
After the initial meeting, and after being invited to the council, Youkimi had been invited to the castle. She hadn't been expecting such a warm welcome from the prince after so brief a meeting. Though the evening had been good, and the hope that came from it did her well. Unfortunately, though.... she needed to check in on Dixon.
.... Needed? .... Nay. She worried that she had failed him. Perhaps that wasn't an urgent need, as it wasn't a matter of him being fed or having a place to stay. Perhaps that was for her emotional well-being.
The baroness made her way to the garden, ever mindful of her steps, and worrying that she was somehow intruding here. She drifted to the flowers and looked over them. The prince seemed to be reading something, and she didn't feel that it was her place to distract him from that task. She would be patient and speak when spoken to. Right now, she was here at the request of the prince.

How long had she been there; Sapphire eyes melding so well with a field of florets. While Roland enjoys the view of the garden he happened to spot a raveonette woman with a familiar air of dignity to her. How long had Youkimi been sharing this calm atmosphere? Was she simply enjoying the roses, like the others who have come this way, or was she biding time before speaking with this unfamiliar prince of a foreign republic. "Hello miss!" Chimes a little noble girl who snuck away for a moment from the class not to far from the baroness. "Did you know flowers have meanings behind them? I just learned that today!" The friendly little one showing an excitement to let others know of her new found knowledge of the world. "Which flowers were you looking at?" The inquisitive little one brimming with curiosity as she looks at Youkimi with her bright and youthful eyes. Roland had planned on walking and meeting Youkimi right away but with the sudden girl attaching to the lady Roland would wait to see how Youkimi reacts before walking up to her so that they may speak.

Baroness Youkimi Kai Living today without a way To understand the weight of the world
Waiting as she was in this area which was not her own and where she knew her influence only was as strong as her words, she felt out of place and as though she didn't belong. This country had become her home, but she was a noble of another place. Title without land. It made for an awkward situation, indeed, as she felt that because of that displacement she had little to say that others would hear. Yet, she couldn't bow to depressive thoughts. She was a baroness. She would carry herself as such because it was her birthright, because she was raised to be so, and because she still had a responsibility to the people in her care. This was the main reason she tolerated her own discomfort and uncertainty.
A young voice distracted her attention. She turned and looked down to see a youth who looked up at her with only excitement and an eagerness to share what she had learned. For a short moment, Youkimi wasn't entirely sure how to respond to this young one who immediately proved either ignorant of rank, or had no understanding of showing rank. Without an indicator one way or another, Youkimi knew her default response must be to refer to the child as an equal subordinate.... But emotionally, she felt herself trying not to appear too stiff, lest she be misunderstood as not wanting the child to be nearby. She maintained her posture, as this came as easily as habit, and she patiently observed and listened to the little girl that might not have been quite old enough to fly for very long.
To answer her, Youkimi turned and lifted her hand out in the direction of a tall-standing orchid. It hadn't quite come to full bloom yet, but it would. The others nearby were white and whose centers were a royal purple near the center. There weren't many petals on these flowers, but nevertheless, there was a simple grace and beauty to them. But what need of flowers for grace and beauty? They merely had to express it. But so fragile....
"I was looking over the orchids." Youkimi answered with her voice. She didn't dare touch the flowers themselves, however, as this was not her garden. She withdrew her arms and folded them into her sleeves. "I've always admired them. Did your class teach you about what these flowers mean?"
With little in means of her expression, but a softness in her tone, she patiently awaited the little girl's answer.

Prince Roland Leoharz Bellris The child had received an answer and was left with intrigue of the flower. The prince had seen what he wanted to know but was left with intrigue of Youkimi. And so the prince begins his walk over to them but hidden from sight by taking the long way to observe just a little while longer. "No, we've never talked about these flowers before." The little noble girl answered the question with awe in her voice and reverence for the regal fleur. "They do look pretty. They remind me of a lady in a dress." The girl was learning and learning fast. She holds out her hand to the orchids with a mimicked nobility to point out what she would be questioning and to show a restraint from touching the flower she so wanted to smell; But she loved the flower so much she knew not to disturb it's careful growth. "You said you admire these flowers, but my papa told me once that he admires my mama. What makes someone do that? Has it something to do with the meaning to this flower?" A girl most curious but spry and with open heart. She didn't understand well what the word admire means, let alone pronounce it well, but she was curious as to the sentiment behind this word and the weight of importance it might bare with.

Baroness Youkimi Kai Living today without a way To understand the weight of the world
An interesting observation from one so young, Youkimi noticed. A smile came to her expression. She was ignorant of how closely they were being watched. In this kind of open setting, that didn't particularly matter. She had long gotten used to being watched and studied from a distance, and thus became desensitized to the feeling of being scrutinized.
Admire.... How to explain to a well-spoken youth about what it means to be admired, or to admire. The woman's eyes returned to the flower as she answered. "Admiration is like respect. When you respect something and feel positive feelings about it, you admire it."
She nodded to the flower they both looked at within this beautiful garden. "I like this flower. It's simple, yet how it grows is graceful and beautiful. I respect the feeling I get when I see it. I feel good when I think about it. These feelings, together, are admiration."
Her eyes returned to the girl. She hoped the explanation was simple enough. "It has been a while since I've had my lessons, but I remember the Orchid is kind of like a lady. It represents refinement, thoughtfulness, and charm. I want to be like the orchid. I think that is why I admire it."
She smiled anew to the little girl.

"Then I think I admire you." The little girl says while looking up to the much taller woman. "I respect you because you are nice and don't ignore me just because I'm small. When you speak back to me it makes me feel good because you actnowledge my voice and react to me. It makes me feel like my feelings matter, and that makes me feel happy. That's why I think you're pretty like the orchid.""Emilia!" Calls out the teacher after seeing the girl clear across the garden, and the rest of the class having to wait for the girl to return before moving on. "I'm sorry but I must leave." The little noble giving a curtsey before she goes. "Thank you for talking with me!" The little noble rushes off with a happy heart and there she was met with her little friends and asked one hundred and one questions about what she and lady Youkimi spoke about; The teacher having to bow to excuse the little noble girl for her antics. "You seem to have a way with children." Roland makes his presence known as he stands arms length away from the noble woman. "They say you can tell much about a country by how they treat their youth. If that's true then I know I made the right choice putting my faith in you Youkimi." Roland bows the greet the woman but when he rises his eyes shimmer with his own youth of a young man, and is charmed to be speaking with a good soul like Youkimi.

Youkimi managed to maintain her composure, though her surprise did surface as the girl expressed her feelings. For one as young as she was, that she spoke so clearly startled and surprised the noble phoenix. She was humbled and touched by this declaration that the girl made. When she had been called, she first curtsied before darting back to her classmates and to the lessons she still had to see to. Youkimi had inclined her head, as habit was able to carry her through the response without her interference, and she wondered for a short while about this little girl. So carefree but with a clever and open mind. She was unafraid and full of hope. Just as her people once were. Would they be able to carry themselves this way again?
The prince arrived and his words brought Youkimi's attention to him. A way with children? In response to his bow, she bowed to him. Respect was owed the prince. "She was respectful and kind. It was easy to speak with her."
It could also be said that she didn't have quite as much patience for the children who were rude and uncouth, though if there was an individual that was trying to become better, her patience stretched a bit further. "But, I imagine that there is more to talk about then how I interact with attentive schoolchildren."

Perhaps that's why it were easier for Roland to talk to Youkimi or vice versa, but either way she was right; There is much to talk about. "I feel it's time I give you a mission as a member of the council." The prince nears a blooming orchid not quite and examines it fragility while thinking of the proper way of asking what it is Roland wants. "We need people to rebuild roads and to begin our grand routes to the other kingdoms. While we have our own citizens that can do the job I feel that hiring the refuges would make much more smiling faces with full pockets." The prince smiles while taking a step away from the flower and the with his right hand he gestures to Youkimi and say words with truth and just thinking behind what he thought to be a good idea. "I other words, I want you to rally the Ethiens and give them jobs so that they can survive on their own and begin making The Republic of Bellris their true home. So, you think you can do it?"

Hysteria Izadora Bellris EC: $500Clothing: BlanketMood: Relief It had been kept silent for the last few days, the only sounds coming when the door was periodically opened from time to time, the healers sworn to secrecy and the guards kept as far away from the room as possible. The last three days had been a living nightmare for the former queen and a few others that had been in the room with her, and finally now that the ordeal was over the main doors where opened, the windows thrown open to let the room that had been closed up the last three days to finally breath. The whine of a baby could be heard all across the castle as finally after three days of pain Hysteria had brought into the world a health, if not slightly bigger than average, baby boy. The child had been washed and swaddled a thick swash of blonde hair atop the boy's head, from what Hysteria could see though the child's narrow eyes, the child may have golden eyes like his sire, the child had been born with a pair of obvious dragon horns upon his head, a clear signal of his species. Hysteria looked at the little boy, wondering what to name him... she hadn't been expecting a boy, and Bellris was a nation of women, they didn't have good male names. She looked down at the boy as she remembered that just recently Herod's brother Kyran had passed away. She smiled softly, she had not known him well and she was pretty sure that Kyran had disliked her to say the least, but it seemed like a good name and the boy's father would probably not deny the name "Kyran Letho it is" she said softly as she leaned down, kissing the little boy's nose as she looked over at the genealogist that would be recording the name she had chosen "His name is Kyran, born of House Bellris and House Letho" she said to the man who wrote down the name on a scroll under hers before getting up and leaving the room. ((OOC: So sorry to butt in, but this is where the former queen resides))

Baroness Youkimi Kai Living today without a way To understand the weight of the world
Youkimi recalled that he mentioned something about a mission and that task having to do with roads. Now that she had been given the information, and a few more specifics were made clear, she understood better what he was asking. It was a kind of trade, in a way. The task was a means of giving jobs to accomplish something that would benefit the nation. An interesting note was how the broken people of Ethe might become citizens of Bellris. At least, this is what it sounded like.
She thought over it and reflected this. If the Republic was offering payment, then those who were looking for work would be willing to do it, if it would allow them to support their family. Did that mean that at the end of the work the people would have a country to call their own?
"Will refugees be able to seek refuge here in Bellris?" She asked this to clarify, uncertain, but it sounded like it came as part of the deal. She wanted to be sure.
