"You were so soft spoken and shy when you first arrived Ele, but now you truly are a Zalton noble now. More importantly though, you've become a true member of this family. I honestly don't think I could have asked for a better sister from a noble house." Athena replied returning the squeeze to Elentiya's hand before letting it slip away and sipping her tea. A soft sigh escaping her lips afterwards. "I see... You're the first to share that sort of information with me, so I didn't realize just how dire the situation was. We certainly don't want riots within the kingdom, so our only real choice is to remain a neutral party. At least in that sense we can do our part for those escaping to our land, but will we be able to sustain them? Or is there something else you have in mind?" She replied, trying to honestly help in any way she could while being supportive as well.
At the mention of her beloved, she couldn't help giving a sad smile and sighing. "I saw him before the war fully broke, but since then I've had no word from him. I truly don't know if he has been captured, killed or is still alive... But I'm trying to keep faith that he's alright." She answered, pausing to take another sip of her tea before looking at her sister-in-law once again. "He tried to release me from our engagement before leaving, but thankfully I was able to reason with him. After all having someone waiting for you can help keep ones spirit up in war times." She finally added in a soft voice, a slightly sad look flickering in her eyes a moment.
Leon puffed his cheeks as Flora made him look like a fish. Wanting to telling to stop, but unable to do so, he balled a hand into a fist and swung at her. Naturally being a little boy he still didn't know his own strength, and so if he actually hit her, he might actually leave a bruise. Meanwhile Arthur caught the book that was pushed towards him and grinned. "Uns pon tim..." He started while opening the book. Of course he was completely mispronouncing 'once upon a time' but it was still cute.
