Kaiden shakes Roland's hand then he removes his hand awa then he felt his sister's presence then he shakes his head,"Sadly no, Father has been quite busy alot recently and I have not heard his voice in a long while even though we live in the same castle.." he rubs the back of his head then he places his hands behind his back then he turns toward the guard,"Guard, he is allow to enter our city and kingdom.."
The guard soon nods in understanding,"Yes Sir.." then he and the other guards back off then Kaiden turns around and waves behind him,"I should be going, I have alot of training to do, see ya Prince Roland..Athena will take care of ya.." he didn't care about royal manners since he wanted to be treated like anyone else.

Of course the royal mannered kiss to her hand caused a slight blush to tint her cheeks before she pulled her hand away gently. "Ah...yes I had heard someone was at the gate and grew curious. As it would seem that curiosity overruled my sense to grab a cloak." She replied in her usual soft, cheerful tone before looking over at her brother and nodding slightly. "Yes, father has been rather busy of late." She agreed right before Kaiden decided he had better get moving. "Have a good time Kaid, and don't let that nut over work you!" She said after him, picking on his teacher a little while she could get away with it. Then after watching her brother leave she looked to Roland and smiled. "Perhaps something to eat? I'm sure you've missed at least one meal on your journey, though I don't see Santiago with you." She murmured, frowning slightly as one of the priorly shooed guards came back to place a cloak over her shoulders and take Snowy back to the castle. "Unless perhaps I can interest you in a walk about the courtyard?"

As a knight it was his father's duty to see to the protection of Bellris, and now it was Roland's turn to be doing the same and then some. He felt for the man who was like him but it would seem the prince had prior engagements. "I thank you for the kindness Prince Kaiden. I hope you get in some good hits at practice today." The words of a prince having weight among the troops as the head his words even if any of them do so secretly. Cute to see Athena speak to her brother in a casual way rather than official like most nobles do. These two were more down to earth and it was heartwarming to see a sibling unity like that. With the second prince gone Roland was alone with Athena and her little furry buddy. It was like a tinny hug pillow held by the princess and the prince was actually rather charmed by the beast. Though it was likely more safe at home while he and its owner speak. An invitation to a meal or a walk through the courtyard. "While a meal does sound tempting I think you know I'd rather see the land." A reference to one of his letters; a smirk on his face. Like a proper gentleman he'd offer the lady his arm and with inviting words he'd ask. "Could I please walk with you through your courtyard? I can tell you more of Santiago and many mire things while we walk."

"I would love to hear stories of Santiago and any others you wish to regale me with while walking. I only hope you don't find the time too dull while waiting a chance to speak with father." She replied in a gentle tone. Naturally a guard or two followed the pair for the sake of her safety despite having been waved off at least once. Knowing that the guards weren't too likely to listen and leave the two unattended, she breathed a soft sigh and chose to speak in a more hushed tone. "So Roland my love do tell me how your sister Hysteria is doing. I hope all is well despite the caravan issue." She whispered almost conspiratorially so that the guards wouldn't hear the conversation, after all it really didn't concern them any way.

It brought back memories of a passion filled night...it brought up hopes of a shared future...it gave him peace in these times of uncertainty but most of all it made his happy to finally be by her side. And so his smile and loving eyes at the princess told the truth of Roland's heart for Athena. "With you here by my side I could almost forget I'm here for business rather than pleasure." As they stroll the open grounds of the castle he speaks to her with a sweet voice that is both calm and happy. But whispering back to her his voice was dimmed. "My sister has been suffering. I only tell you this because I trust you, but we are both still feeling the sting of our sister's loss; Her especially." The knight couldn't help but look over at the eyes burning a hole in thee back of his head but shortly after his quick stare the guard and his buddy would walk away from Athena and her guest. While he wasn't sure quite happened perhaps it was his eyes or that of the princess that made the men take their leave. "I do appreciate you for you letters, Princess Athena... Without the thought of returning home to my love I feel I may not have fought as valiantly." Since the guards were watching he couldn't do much, but the bold princess would not be stopped and so he leaned as if to whisper in Athena's ear but instead kisses her cheek while using his hand as cover. A secret kiss of a lovers bliss.

At the mention of his sister's suffering because of the still fresh loss of their younger sibling, she frowned and nodded slightly. "I pray she suffers no longer over it. The tragedy could not have been foreseen and she should not blame her self for anything that may have transpired before it happened. I will also pray that joy comes to her soon." She replied in a gentle tone, showing that she felt close to his sister despite not being a member of the family yet. At his whisper of her letters she smiled all the more. "I'm glad they kept you valiant and looking forward to life." She cooed before he leaned in as if to whisper into her ear, which she naturally played were the case, giggling at the kiss to her cheek as if he had told an amusing joke. Thankfully such an act caused the guards to finally give them some distance and allow the two the privacy she had hoped for. However she still took a quick look to ensure they were alone before quickly placing a loving kiss on his cheek in return for the one he had so secretly given her.

"Athena, my sweet dove of peace. You always show such a caring nature that it is impossible for me to resist such a love." Another kiss from the prince but this time with no shielding hand and a longer press against her tenderly inviting skin. "And I also thank you for caring about my family. We are not loved by the kingdoms loyal to the empire so your kindness is a blessing."

Athena replied before feeling his lips upon her cheek once again and smiling all the brighter. "I love you dearest Roland and therefore care about those you love as though they were my own family. I care not what the other kingdoms who are loyal to the empire think of Bellris or those within it's boarders. They have no say in whom I have given my heart to." She said in a serious tone before leading him over to a slightly more hidden area of the courtyard. Once there and certain no one had seen them, she placed a tender loving kiss upon his lips and breathed a sigh as she stepped back from it. "I've been longing to do that since receiving your last letter telling me you were alive and well despite the tragedy."

As Athena takes a step back Roland smiles brightly to her, "How did I ever get so lucky to have met you, my loving Athena. Such beauty and soul in a single person is almost a sinful delight." But as the prince ends his words his hands slide around the woman's waist and she is then pulled into a passionate kiss on her lips from a hot blooded man who longed for the peace only she could bring him in this dangerous world of kings and queens. He didn't act like he cared if anyone saw them. The only thing on Roland's mind was to wash away every thought the princess had and replace them with only thoughts of him and what he wanted to do with her smooth and tender body of romance.

"You say that as if I have been placed on this earth for no more reason than tempt you, though I know that is not the case." She replied as his hands slipped around her waist. Gasping however as she was pulled to him only to have it cut short by a passionate kiss that she eagerly and joyfully returned. At that very moment she cared for nothing more than being in his arms once again and it didn't matter who saw them, though it would mean quite a bit of explaining were it a family member who caught them in such an embrace. So long as she could stay in his arms, feeling the love he held for her and giving him the love she left for him, she wouldn't care if rumours flew. All her thoughts were solely on Roland and the joy of being able to kiss him while held in his strong loving arms.

"I'm glad for the playfulness as it lets me know our hearts are still connected as one. As for spying eyes, I doubt there shall be any around at the moment, and if there is so be it. I don't want to move from these strong arms right now and cannot bear the thought of parting when I've finally been able to hold you after all this time." She said in a serious tone before resting her head against his shoulder area, a sigh soon escaping her lips as she relaxed. "I truly don't want to be part from you again Roland my love. The time of the war was unbearable and the worry of having lost you completely nearly killed me." She murmured, telling him the truth of her feelings before once again looking up at him. "As it stands now, the thought of possibly being wed to another at the whim of the emperor has me wanting to simply run away with you."

Though a slight rage did build up from the thought of some man thinking he could simply rip his love from his embrace he kept that rage in check as he holds her closer and dearly. "...Why don't you then?" Roland whispers lovingly in her ear as a hand keeps her in his hug and another combs through her hair; He trying to have her think of what she had said and to ponder if she truly dared to try that with him.

He had practically agreed to have her run away with him without so much as offering a reason not to, and she had not expected such a thing from him. Of course as she thought over the idea she realized that such a rash move would hurt her family and perhaps cause more strife than good. "I....I couldn't. It would cause my fathers heart to break and goodness knows what the emperor would do to Zalto should he find out." She whispered laying another fear at his feet before biting her lip in thought for a while. "Wh-what if you were to speak with father about not just the caravans, but my hand in marriage. You could make it sound as though you want to strengthen relations between our lands through a political marriage and see if father will allow it. Though there is also the option of telling him outright that I am in love with you and refuse to marry another." She said after a moment of silence. Truthfully she sounded unsure of her own idea even though it seemed a little more likely to work compared to just running away with him.

Perhaps that was just his ambitious heart that tricked him into seeing that but what he knew wasn't a lie were her concerns. "...Though it would brake my heart for you to refuse me you'd still pick the well being of others before my own. This may sound strange to admit but I'm glad you would do so." He'd pull her to him and kiss her once again but this time it was a hard press of both passion and conviction. He wasn't sure if what their plan to convince King Arthur would go over well so this might be his last kiss with her. His strong arms coil around her to hold her dearly and feel her warm softness. The tender scent that waft around her was like a holy garden he was not to see again...and if he wasn't going to be able to see Athena again he wanted to enjoy what time he could have with her. He didn't want to address their problems just yet...he simply want to keep what he has right now and not care about another soul.
