Boss Attack
The passageway ahead is blocked by a crowd of troll-bots, milling around and bumping off each other. If metal can look confused, these seem a little uncertain about what exactly they're doing there, but the confusion disappears the moment they catch sight of you.
If you rolled a 1, a troll bot leaps on your shoulders and does it's best to try and unscrew your head from your body. Take 3 dmg, and 1 damage each roll after until a support power is used on you.
If you rolled a 2, two troll-bots link their arms together and a third runs up to them, bounces off the arms, and ricochets off to slam you heavily. You're completely winded. Take 2 dmg, and 1 damage each roll after until a support power is used on you.
If you rolled a 3, a troll bot in the shredded remains of a shirt that reads 'number one grubling' tackles you, and proceeds to slap you silly.Take 2 dmg, and 1 damage each roll after until a support power is used on you.
If you rolled a 4, you're charged by a troll-bot that, while failing to gore you with it's horns, pins you to the wall with them. As you struggle, it begins to kick and slap frantically at you, as it seems to be stuck as well. Take 1 dmg, and 1 damage each roll after until a support power is used on you.
If you rolled a 5, as you push and claw your way through the melee, a bot lying on the ground clamps it's jaws around your ankle and gets dragged a few steps before you can kick it off. Take 2 dmg.
If you rolled a 6, out of the corner of your eye, you see a trollbot pointing at you, and jeering. You're not sure what it's mocking, but the feeling stings slightly. Take 1 dmg.

"I-I'm fine." She spoke in a hushed whisper, collecting herself and carrying on. The look in Cerpin's eyes told her not to say anything. They didn't have time to fuss over each other- they could die here.
The halls felt long and endless already, her legs strained from losing stamina. Tevini was not very fit. Struggling to keep up with the highblood beside her, she focused on her breathing in vain. They rounded a corner and ran straight into a line of troll-bots. The metal clanged from the tools hidden in her disguise hitting the robots. She hit the floor and failed to dodge a following slam. The only thing that saved her was Scuttle body slamming the rest of the bots like a bowling ball. Impressed by his ferocity, the red blood sat up and watched the bots roll away. Then she got up again and continued on.

"This place is a nightmare." Cerpin groaned as they rounded the corner to find a handful of bots roaming about. Chittentown had busted its a** trying to prove their tech was superior to Civisect's and it looked like they were going to pay for that now. Everything in this building was made out of a great passion and it was that passion that was going to get everyone killed. Blossmom chirped angrily, reminding him that it was his own fault he'd decided to come out to this instead of focusing on his real goal (space) and he groaned. Ugh, he knew, okay? He didn't need this right now.
"s**t- get off!" As he watched Tevini's spectacle in amazement, he was slammed into a wall and almost gored by a pair of horns. Swearing in pain from the aching sensation in his side, he yelped for his lusus to help pry the bot off of him so he'd be freed. Once this was complete, he looked to his partner once more.
"Okay. Maybe you were right that coming here was a bad idea." From the look in her eyes, he could tell she wasn't exactly pleased to be proven right in this instance.

Upon their arrival to a dead end, the tealblood cursed under her breath before clapping and pointing in the direction they'd just come from. "Turn around, guys," She murmured, watching two troll-bots in the distance march toward them as they headed back the way they came. Forera rolled her eyes, seemingly confident, but after watching the trollbots assemble to do something, Forera quickly dodged to the right. They'd leapt at them! And managed to nick some of Forera's skin in the process! She quickly covered the cut, hoping it looked blue enough in this lighting before slamming a fist into the bot easily, not riled in the slightest. "Let's keep goin'."

Following the crowd to the left had done literally nothing to help Rastin figure out what the hell was going on. He'd raced with them without taking a breath only to shoved back down the path where they'd came after coming face to face with a dead end. He tucked himself as neatly into the group as he could and followed them to the right this time, his breath heaving as he ran. He wished he had some sort of idea of what to do or what was going on, but knew that would have to wait.
Then, the sudden clamping of metal around his ankle had him shrieking and shaking, thinking for certain that it had to be one of those horrific Bureaucrat Bots from before. However, after taking a moment to glance at it and see it's differences, Rastin furiously shook the bot off of him and kicked it's metal head.
"Sodding thing, go back to where you came from!" He growled, before turning to catch up with the others on the path.

"s**t, already?" Luxara grumbled at the dead end. Like that maze with Kursha, but hopefully no giant creatures lying in wait. Or tripped traps making everything worse. The trolls with her might actually listen though, if she had any commentary.
Luxara saw the bots come in, and witnessed them attack Forera. "F- Per! You okay?" She moved to go for Forera, if not Etsali if Forera was okay, but a bot jumped her from behind and tried to break her neck.
"Hey!" She backed into a wall, trying to slam it off, over and over and over. "Get offa me!" Once it loosened its grip, she bucked it off further, then slammed the fallen bot with her defense shield.
Hemera had a bad feeling about this? Duh, it was sabotage. It wasn't exactly something to feel good about. "Then let's do something about it, huh?" Leeroi was half-frustrated, half encouraging. If something dirty was going down then they needed to n** it in the bud before it got worse. Complaining and being scared wasn't going to make things magically better.
But trying to pep-talk Hemera was distracting him from the path. Now he found himself face-to-face with some trollbots, and he didn't even notice until he felt their cold hands trying to rip his head off his shoulders.
"Heyheyhey— HEY!" Leeroi activated his belt. This situation was way too close for comfort. The defense mechanism blasted out a shield, sending the nearby trollbot to the ground. "Hemera! I'm going to run through! Stay close and avoid the bots!" He warned the tealblood before charging down the hallway.

Hemera nodded. Even if Leeroi couldn't get it he was game enough for the surface level issue. She found some relief in the fact that he had his priorities straight enough regarding that, versus doing something stupid. She would have expected as such if she hadn't run into him before now during this whole mess.
They continued on, and no matter what speed, the robots soon came around. Hemera took a flat step back when she saw a robot attack Leeroi. "What in the world-" Immediately, she put a defensive hand on Kolako.
Soon, they threatened to be surrounded. Leeroi took charge in his usual bullish way. Mera, meanwhile, went cold to the touch and iced up, scooped up Kolako, and bolted through without any use of Leeroi's shield. The bots beat up her ice, cracking it, and by the time she caught up it was flaking off.
However, from what she could tell, they were all okay.
"I like to think I'm somewhat capable," she said to Leeroi, a wry edge to her voice.

Mera was actually rather cold. The ice that appeared on her shoulder kinda clued Koko in into how awesome Mera really was, but in that second, she wasn't really paying attention to her. She was too distracted, to focused on too many things at once. "I-I-- Yo espero..." She seemed a little disheartened. She kind of stayed quiet when she glanced over, seeing a blueblood there-- Mera's friend? Hearing Mera murmur how she had a bad feeling about it, the brownblood frowned. "Yo tambien! I have a bad feeling too!" She said eagerly, almost as if she was trying to prove a point.
When the bots came, the brownblood felt for her spear, grabbing it hastily-- She was definitely ready to hunt, and robots seemed to be #1 on her hitlist that night. Before she could manage a lunge, however, Mera had scooped her up, and-- Ice! Grew on her, oh mi dios! Kolako was left in awe, eyes shining. "That was so cool!" Kolako blinked, only then realizing the joke, making herself giggle. "Jejeje! You're so awesome Mera! I'm okay!"
She was okay, but Papion was struggling. He was attacking everything that was in his way, trying to at least do something to protect his charge as he lagged slightly behind. After being pinned for a second, the lusus snarled loudly before flinging everything around him to the ground. He then continued up, prepared for anything.

"A dead end?" Etsali put her hands on her hips and leaned forward to squint at the wall, but nope, no secret latches or anything that she could tell. Dang. Shrugging, she turned to follow as Forera continued to lead their way right back the way they'd come. Apparently their bad choice of hallway had given the security system time to gather together a collection of troll-bots though, unfortunately, and the thief paused to size them up. While she watched, two of the troll-bots linked their arms together and while she puzzled that out, another ran up to them, bounced off their arms, and ricocheted back towards- towards her!
Etsali went down with a heavy 'ooph' as the breath was knocked right out of her. Knocking the robot away came on reflex as she gasped in air, and then she was rolling to her feet again, kunai at the ready this time. Idly she reached out to tap Forera and Luxara to get their attention and flash a grin. "Hey, you think we could pull off that kind of move?"
A dead end?! Xavier frowned as he realized they'd gone down a pathway that essentially lead to nowhere. Hearing one of the older trolls in the group they'd followed call out they needed to move back he rubbed his neck with a slight frown. He'd come to this place wanting to help, and see to Panili's vision not coming true. For what it was worth...Xavier was begining to question how wise it had been to separate them from his older greenblood companions. If anything they were likely just as worried sick as he was without question. He'd gone with the idea of exploring something new, all it did was add more stress to the situation.
"W..Watch out!" He called out his gloved hand stretched towards his companions.
Drones crawled and clawed from seemingly everywhere. Xavier pushed at one as it tried to lunge at his lusus. If he just wasn't so small..he'd be more effective at stopping them. It was damn near trying to pull her thinkpan off, which the mighty mothergrub merely shrugged and shook the drone off giving it a toss back with the rest. The injury from it's sharp clawing left a mark, but did nothing to waver her spirit.
Unease pulled at his pump biscuit as his lusus assured him it was alright, and to keep moving. They had to figure out a way to stop this defense madness, surely they could figure something out.
Eilidh is attacking the Defense AI. Papa Bear HP: 34/40
By this point Eilidh was certain this entire tower was out to kill them..or at least seriously cause harm. Her lusus had taken charge by lumbering forward defensively swiping at any drones that came for them. The usually sleepy, tired bear roared in defiance as one of the troll-bots charged him. While it failed to gore him with it's horn, it had smashed the bear into the wall. It's horn appeared stuck, almost comical really if it weren't for the fact the thing was frantically kicking and flailing around in an attempt to free itself. As a result several of it's punches and kicks landed on Papa Bear as he took the brunt force of the bots attacks.
Slapping the bot away with his paw, Papa Bear huffed in annoyance as it returned back to his trolls side, nuzzling her to ensure that she was alright.
Eilidh had been certain the bot was going to run her down. Thanking her lusus she hugged one of the creature's limbs, helping both him, and Xavier to shoo away the bots that were bothering their poor lusii. "S..Stop that! Go away!" She yelled at it angrily for hurting her friends. As it was..they weren't making much progress. Pulling back Eilidh made for the exit. As much as she wanted to help make everything better..that didn't mean they needed to get killed or injured did it?
"I'm sorry...this is too dangerous. There has to be other ways we can help." She explained pulling at Xavier's hand to head back the way they had come.

She watched another bot come toward her, and with a quick one-two, the tealblood managed to slam it into unconsciousness. Easy peasy, lemon squeasy! Caiden almost screamed when Engrav join him in the hallway. The brownblood crawled on the floor over to hug his best-est buddy, not quite looking at where his fire extinguisher was flailing. Despite seeing stars Caiden managed to squeal how excited he was to see Engrav.
Caiden scrambled after his teamates. They all decided to change direction for some reason! Just happy to be among trolls he admired, Caiden fallowed them all. With Xavier's calming Caiden felt ten times better. "Your the BEST Xavier!" The brownblood said, wishing they had time to hug. "I like your mommy Xavier! Or is it a daddy?" Caiden cooed as he walked next to his friend. The boy hoped it was a mommy, then maybe CamoDad could marry HER! Caiden had a grin on his face as he fallowed his bobsledding orangeblood partner, the tealblood, and the super cool adult troll hand in hand with Engrav.

Forest and trees... Forest and trees... Nothing like this place at all. Sephos wanted to be back there. Thankfully, he was not alone - that would have been the last straw. Too many trolls, to be sure, but at least they were... friendly? "I'll go with you." he said to the - was that a mother grub? It was. Okay.
He stuck back with the rest, but his lusus was roused, and moved forward at a pace that no crouching tree should ever be able to move at. When it saw the robots, it knew what to do - destroy. Maku made a woodwind roar as the robots charged, slamming them away as one of them buried it's horns into his bark.
"Gah!" It was one of the last things that Sephos would have wanted. When Maku turned and implored him to MOVE, he did. And, if they were smart, so would everyone else.
