Azaleia was feeling great about the day, she was pumped and everything else around her mattered not about what was happening. All she knew was she was going to win, her heart was filled with Triumph and victory. A smile crossed her face as the race started, Zooming from the start line and not giving a care in the world about the other wild dogs that were there. She was going to show everyone that she had the power to prove that she was the best. Of course, she wasn't so high strung normally, but today was just the day she woke up on the right side of the bed.
With every step she moved swiftly, and the feel of the ground below her gave her more confidence with each pound upon the ground. She was one with the wind, it was like it pushed her forward.

Warmpaws galloped along, her heart still thudding from fright of the zebra, but beginning to settle into a comfortable running rhythm. If she could just stay ahead of that monster, she might be okay. When she'd entered the race, she'd just thought it was going to be a matter of speed and endurance. She'd had no idea the thing would be quite this dangerous! Though she supposed that wasn't the fault of the race... it was that insane zebra!! Well, now she could settle down and maybe enjoy the rest of the race. Or so she hoped!!
[Fourth Roll Points: 6 Total Points: 10]
Putte was limping a bit as he followed the markers, his poor paws smarting from the run through the briars. His shoulders felt a bit bruised too, but that was less of an issue. Still, the path seemed to smooth out now, and he could see some other dogs in front of him. He felt no hope of winning this race now, of course... not after all these mishaps! But maybe he could finish with some sort of dignity and make a good showing for the Sikukuu folks. My, what a tale this would be to tell his mother when he saw her again! Maybe they'd have to write a song about it... with embellishments, of course!

[Azaleia Roll 2]
Even though she felt that nothing could go wrong, she almost lost her grove. Panicked, she stopped for a second and took a couple breaths. her heart was pounding in her chest and she cursed under her breath for taking her attention away from the path in front of her.
After she got herself together, shook her head at how stupid she had been, she started to trot before going back to her full speed. She'd have to tell herself NOT to get distracted again. Who knows if that would actually work, however.

[Azaleia Roll 3]
However, it didn't work... Again some others that were struggling with getting a head start she ended up looking away from the path in front of her again. Her attention span was that of a goldfish, it seemed. The branch came out of no where. A second startle, if this continued, she might not be able to catch her breath, though it wasn't as bad as the first time.
She stopped and chuckled at how stupid she had been. Though, she still felt that she was going to win this thing. She had faith! Despite the branches of doom, she was going to over come this. She started full speed this time, after taking a minute to adjust to her surroundings. THIS TIME she would be okay!

[Azaleia Roll 4]
Despite her branch encounter, she continues and it is more and more clear that she is going to win! At least, that was what she convinced herself, The dream of winning was filling her head that indeed, her attention failed again, though, this time she caught herself just in time. She didn't stop to see if anyone saw her stumble.
Instead, it was what pushed her to continue and give it her all. Her face was more focused now, she was a star. If she couldn't do it, no one can! Nothing else can go wrong, she just knows it. Starting off great, and a little trouble after the fact, but she was looking strong now! She was amazing.

[Total: 2] She kicked up from the starting line. Hoping to maybe pull ahead of everyone. She had nearly tripped over a branch before catching herself. At least she wasn't having as much trouble as the others.

[Total: 3] Oh crap. Nearly dodging hooves that might want to do the worst harm to her had caused her to instead collide with other things about. Like smacking into a tree hard. Though the tree also got a pretty good knock from the zebra's hooves kicking into it. Glancing back at it before moving on she noticed the hoof prints. That could have been her.

Quote: Sabu3. You've seen a couple of individuals falter from the start, it's just your luck that you seem to be near those who are having some trouble. It is also just your luck that there happened to be a branch in your path, hidden by some additional debris and you almost stumble. This startles you and you must take a quick breath before continuing. [2 Points] As she lined up with the others waiting for the start she couldn't help but try to think of how she got here to begin with. It was like one minute she had been wandering along the rouge lands and then suddenly she was entering into a race for a pack she didn't even know. Oh well. Preparing herself she took off as it began and then she felt her paw trip on something and it made her stop and move to the side so she could assess everything to make sure nothing had been injured. Satisfied nothing was hurt she took off again. Quote: Minthe1. You're faced with the grueling task of completing a race, perhaps a race you weren't prepped for? At least that is how this display was seen - you've stumbled over a stick, collided with a rocky wall and collapsed in a muddy mess. You eventually get yourself cleaned up and do push forward. [1 Point]Minthe was excited! Wasn't she? As she took off she was doing pretty good, at least she was until her paw stepped on a stick which slid forward and the rest was history. Her body spun forward as she collided with an ooompf into a nearby rocky wall and then came to a stop in a nice bit of mud. Being careful to not be run over by anyone she stood up and shook herself off and did what she could to clean up and then started once more.

Quote: Sabu 2. Muscles scream as you kick off in a way that stuns the crowd! This was your proud moment - it looks as though you've practiced really hard for this event and you've got the attitude of a winner. Head in the clouds about entering the winners circle causes you to stumble a little. You catch your ground quickly though and are right back at it! [4 Points]Doing a little trick as she ran on she felt confident that she would do well in this race. However she stumbled slightly and didn't miss a beat and continued on her way. Quote: Minthe6. Distracted by the sudden sounds coming from nearby of hooves and some howling you aren't watching where you are going and stumble. This stumbling tosses you into the stream and drenches you. Refreshed, but sopping wet, you get up and try to determine where you are in the scheme of things. Once you have your wits about you are at it again. [2 Points]To make matters worse as she continued on she looked out for the sounds of hooves and howling because she didn't want to get run over by anything and there she went. Flipping face first into a stream. Coming to the surface she stood up, pleased to know it wasn't too deep or too shallow and crawled from the water. Shaking herself free of the water and now clean from the mud she continued on her way again.

Quote: Sabu 4. You're a winner! Through and through you have an outstanding outlook on this race and have not encountered anything to troublesome. Even those things you did encounter you quickly got over it and moved on. You're doing very well at this point in the race. [6 Points] Overall she was feeling as though things were going pretty smoothly. Minus the few hiccups so far she was keeping a steady pace and hadn't hit anything too terrible that she couldn't recover from. She was confident she would at least finish this race. Quote: Minthe5. Leaving the start was no issue, heck you figured you were going pretty strong. In fact, where did the other competitors go? Then you hear a sound similar to hooves beating a path. No. Those were hooves beating a path. Looking around you finally spot a grumpy looking Zebra who is about to get you. After some chasing you finally escape with a few bumps and bruises. Soon you find the markers and are back on track. [1 Point]Finally managing to get free of everything minthe was feeling pretty good about herself. That was until an Angry Zebra was after her. WAS THERE NO END TO THE MADNESS! She finally managed to get away without too much harm to herself and continued back on track once she spotted a marker.
