Alg chuckled, though there was something to using Harry Potter spells.

"You know, if you're not confident in the magic, perhaps don't try to do it like your father." Alg, despite he and Jeremiah sharing their information and practicing together, found that magic had to be done differently person to person.

"Heliodora's method of magic relies heavily in reference to media-" For someone like Zac who absorbed a lot of media, it could help him, "-spell words and imagery ingrained in you from books and shows. It may be easier for you."

"Results may vary?" HE quipped but he did look quite thoughtful at the idea. "I suppose it's mostly about finding a focus."

"...I'll remember that, I'll try and see what I can do with trying to do things with..." He laughed softly. "Spells, that feel right to me. That's good advice, strange that we're talking about it but, it's good advice for sure"

"I just think this whole thing is about finding our own path.. and that doesn't necessarily mean it all works the same way from person to person," Alg nodded, "I certainly can't force magic the way Jeremiah does. I don't have a forceful personality-" He said that but of course even if he was, didn't feel like it.

"So don't be discouraged if the way other people do things doesn't work for you." Alg smiled a bit.

“He, certainly has a way about him” agreed Zac, his mind tumbled over ideas that might or might not help him do magic. A focus maybe, a wand seemed awkward, but anything you could wave could be that. Maybe...oh lord yes, someone here should use one

“... You should try a wand.” He said with a grin spreading over his face. “You really should, we could make you one. Imagine making one out of, of damaged book pages and rolling it up into layers so it’s all, words and very YOU.”

It was a silly thought, but there might be a gift in Alg’s future.

Alg chuckled and shook his head no, "I think I'd feel a bit idiotic with a wand to be honest. But good try on making me a proper wizard."

A customer was at the front door, peering in at them talking while the 'out to lunch' sign was up on the door.

"Did you get enough from me?" For his interview, "I think I should open back up again. Though you're welcome to stick around obviously-" Most people didn't like hanging around their job off-hours.

"Oh! Yes, sorrry." He flushed slightly having gotten carried away. " I know where to find you too if I have more questions."

The last part was said with a grin, and perhaps a few plans about wands as Christmas gifts regardless.
