I'm single.
I've had two girlfriends in the past. One week-long relationship with a bit of a seductress, and a two-month relationship with a girl who I dated out of pity.
I'm currently single, but I'm in a kid of stressful situation right now. My ex is still crazy about me and has pretty much snapped since I dumped her. Right now, despite wanting somone so badly (I'm a romatic...) I really just want to wait for true love, instead of just another shallow relationship. I might have to wait until I'm 30, but I want true love, nothing less... (ok, I may occasionally cave for sex...)

I guess I'm just a fairly independent person, but I enjoy being single. I like being in a relationship when I find someone I'm really into, but I don't actively seek out potential partners. If I meet somebody tomorrow, great; if I don't that's fine too.

I'm only out to one person. No one knows I am, which is a disadvantage in finding a date. Also, no one else is out, so that's another disadvantage because I have no idea who's sexual preference is what.
I think my gaydar is on the fritz.

I rather like being single sometimes, it gives me the freedom of being a flirt sometimes, though my friends say that I'd be a flirt even if I am with someone. e__e;;
Though it would be nice to be in a relationship, my life is pretty damn busy for the next week or two, so if I had a relationship added onto it, I'd be juggling a lot more then I could handle.

but it's fun looking for the perfect one! im the younger sister who shares this avi with my bro however... both of us are bi, it's so hard to find someone who won't turn us away. it's a sad thing but we've learned to live!

it's difficult to get into a relationship in the first place, and then it's difficult to keep that relationship sane. So don't beat yourself up if you're not in a relationship, try to think of something else untill you enter a relationship.

Thats kinda pathetic no it's not. If you think about it, you've been single for longer. Since i'm 16 and i started dating at 13.... that means i would have been single for 12 years. Get it? So it's really not that pathetic.

grrrrrrr. it really ticks me off when people act like their life depends on dating someone. it's a really stupid thing to get upset over. you don't have to be dating someone to have a great time-you can always hang out with your friends. hell, i always go to dances solo and have a blast!

i'm single as well. have been for over three years. i don't mind the being single part (my ex is schizophrenic, i can really do without the drama), but i haven't had sex in awhile. and i just had to be a "gentleman" and deny my drunk friend, because i didn't want to take advantage (not to mention there was a boyfriend involved, who was home at the time). i really need to work on getting rid of my ethics.
