As Gloom led her away, America told him about school. There was lots of bookstuff, and she admitted that books weren't her strong point. It was hard to listen to them and get what they were trying to say. But school's had all sorts of types of learning, and some had uniforms. This led to a short tangent on how some uniforms were really cute, but that her favourite was when sexy teachers wore button down shirts and ties.
School was best, she told him, when it brought out a certain something in folks. Made them eager and excited and proud of themselves. Admittedly, she was best sports and shop class. And, she added, despite what folks may think of her maths, she got all sorts of A's in accounting.
By the time he showed her the way out, Gloom would have a fair understanding of the standard American grading system, and she'd assured him that he was an A+ teacher.
