"Jeremiah explained it to me as sort of creating your own spells, and relying heavily on your own connection to pop culture- it's obviously a strong influence on her being young," He pushed his glasses up, "To visualize and execute magic."

The idea made sense to those tied heavily into things like fiction. Magic is everywhere in books and shows and even he himself had made Star Wars references and Harry Potter references when it came to magical practice.

The receipt copies popped out and he tore and slid them forward for signing.

Alg tucked the signed receipt into a small folio, bagged the items, and tucked Shun's copy in the bag before sitting it upright on the counter.

"To be honest, I mostly read and write a bit over there." He smiled a little, realizing how ridiculous it sounds, "There's still my bookshop.. and a moody sort of library." Moody in that it only let him in half the time. "And I've visited Heliodora."

Algie nodded as Shun took his purchases, leaning against the counter on a palm.

"If you find Heliodora," because some had been waylaid by other things, "be nice to her please? She's bored, lonely and she just lost a very close friend."

Alg didn't seem to have any true lingering sourness about the brief misunderstanding they'd had. He waved a broad hand before sitting back on his stool.
