 KisaJust before she blacked out, though, a rather different figure came in and pulled her out of the danger zone... and Kisa was very appreciative indeed for that. She returned the favor a few moments later by lunging at the demons that had been aiming to attack Youmu from behind, ripping through the small horde. All right... yeah. Her legs were shaking a little, but the only thing she could do was continue to go forward, and she had absolutely no intention of stopping now. Not when things were so quickly going to hell. KisaObelyn came to check on her a few minutes later, having heard about the attack. "Concern" may not have been quite the right word for what was going on, but he clearly seemed to regard her as at least some sort of asset, and was checking up to make sure she could continue to act. For now, at least, she could... and Kisa idly fingered the crystal of Balor as he left. Was there something about these gems he'd yet to tell the rest of them? Eh, probably. Minori Koroko  Her head felt like it was about to split in two. The blond girl had never felt this disoriented as she pushed herself off the floor, taking in what she could only guess was an awful nightmare. She was still in the Dojima household, but something felt wrong. There was an eerie red outside, the blood-like light making its way inside the house from little cracks in the windows; the pungent smell of sulfur and ashes almost made her gag...things were in great disorder, almost as if someone had taken out in a hurry, leaving everything behind. And the silence...it was piercing, deadly...a knot forming on the pit of her stomach. "Nanako? Dojima-san?" she knew something was wrong...but if there was someone still inside the house...she needed to protect them. What about Soji? And Genji? Nix? The others? She needed to find them...'Please let them be alright...'
But she was alone in the house, and that didn't ease her one bit. That meant the were out somewhere...and she needed to find them. That was the only explanation she would accept. She couldn't ...wouldn't accept that anything bad had happened to them. The blond moved over to the door, and with a last sigh, she opened it.
What she saw on the other side was way worse than what she had imagined. Houses were destroyed, the streets cracked, fire spewing out from them, the sky an angry red. There was no sign of people...no sign of anything. She stood there shocked for a second, her mind trying to process everything she was seeing. She winced, her headache reminding her it was still there. Syr...she couldn't hear Syr. She didn't feel her... "Just...what is going on?"

KisaOnce Obelyn had left, Kisa returned to her patrol of the area, being quite willing to dart out and take on each horde of demons she saw. Honestly, that was pretty much her normal life these days... and hopefully, her friends would be all right at the moment. Perhaps she ought to go check on them... once she finished getting rid of the demons in her way, at least. They were rampaging, and she needed to shut them down hard. Kisa...And Obelyn was actually following her at the moment, reminding her of the usefulness of the Amala Network should she need to head over to another area. Yes, thank you, Obelyn, she was very familiar with the network in question. She'd actually LIVED in a little pocket inside of it for awhile, until Ciela had helped her find a new house... a home, really, the first one she'd had in a very long time. KisaAlmost as an afterthought, Kisa backhanded one of the minions of Hell that had come at her. Their weak demons were still on the level she could fight - even if the Preta was doing a lot of the work - and she nodded firmly to herself as she set off again to continue trying to reach her destination. KisaSeveral minutes later, Kisa crashed through another horde of demons, scattering them to the wind as she bent down to help the girl that had helped her earlier. If anything was pointing out the value of teamwork, this was it - you couldn't always survive on your own, no matter how tough you were, and only by working together were you likely to advance in any way. KisaIt wasn't long at all until there was a Hee and a Ho, and a Jack Frost was on her shoulder and ready to go. She'd simply kicked off the ogre that had been threatening it, and in gratitude, the little snowman had happily joined her party. She wasn't sure what was up with the other Jack Frost that liked to follow her around, but... well, there you had it. KisaThis seemed to be a great day for saving demons, really... because just after she'd helped the Jack Frost, she found a High Pixie about to have its wings pulled out by a particularly drunk-looking demon. Fortunately, the fight was a rather short one, given the number of allies she had now, and Kisa was happy to nod in satisfaction as she continued on her way. The Candelabrum and the Path of Lucifer One of the many ongoing battles between [Law] and [Chaos] in the world is the Battle for the Candelabrum. This Tournament, in which Fiends of Lucifer battle one another for possession of cursed items known as Candelabrum, was conceived by the Fallen Angel himself for an unknown purpose. By nature, those humans who have transcended their humanity and become what are known as Demi-Fiends are drafted into this contest with others of Lucifer's choosing...with only one able to emerge from the Tournament as the victor...
In order to participate in this Tournament, you must either be given a Candelabrum by Lucifer himself, be given a Candelabrum by one of the Fiends holding them, or take one from a Fiend who holds one of the Candelabrum. Quote: Fiends in Possession of Candelabrum
Candelabrums endow their holders with a unique ability which can be awakened over the course of this event. For the small price of 25 Tokens, you may awaken a special ability granted by a Candelabrum. Some NPCs may already have these abilities unlocked.

The demon seemed none the wiser to her slaying his friend....And, as his head went flying into the air, the body dispersing into magnetite, it seemed nothing else would really hit the demon's likely feeble mind.
"Darn Preta.." she called, with a sigh. The demon was a small one, so she felt bad...but, when it had the intent to kill, like everything else...
