  『Rothar & Virajith』 Rothar came to a panting stop beside Kiana who lay staring worriedly into the dirty little stream. The water still murky brownish hue, remnants of the great flood. He dropped the rabbit and looked around for the pup for a moment before he locked his serious gaze on her. "What happened?!" He demanded, masking his concern. Virajith paddled through the water with ease, feeling at home with the water holding him in it's embrace. But he wasn't distracted from his goal. He was going to catch Momma Sky a fisy. His big brown eyes looked around the dark water for any signs of his prey. The fins on his face floated in the water acting like sensory antenna as he moved about in search of fish. It took a several minutes, but he finally spotted some minnows. The fish were pretty small and even for him not much more than a mouthful, but spotting them got him exited. He would be able to get a fish for Momma Sky and this made him happy as he slowly began his approach from behind a thick branch sunk in the riverbed.

 Kiana turned to look at her mate as he appeared, glad he had managed to catch up. She watched him drop the rabbit, the blood starting to pool under it, coloring the ground. Seeing the stern look in his eyes, she tried to think of how best to explain to him what happened. To anyone else, they would think he was just being his usual stoic self with the question. However, she knew him and could detect the slight undertone of worry in his voice. She wasn't sure if he thought something had happened to her, was worried for the pup, or both. Her eyes turned back to the water really quick to check for Virajith, before back to her mate. " While you were hunting, Virajith and I were watching from a safe distance. We began talking about things, including wondering about the food we each ate. When I asked about fish, he said he was going to catch me one. I did not think he meant right away, however, I think that was his thinking. So he headed in this direction and I followed. He is currently in the water, I am assuming looking for fish,"she replied, as calmly as she could. It was easy for the other to tell she was worried though.

『Rothar & Virajith』 Rothar listened to her reply and his narrowed gaze drifted to the water. He could tell she was worried and for a moment he considered diving in for the pup. But his brain told him the cub would be fine, he was of the ocean after all so he doubted there was any danger for him in the small stream. His eyes glanced back at Kiana before narrowing further and staring and the murky water as it rolled past. He was going to have some very choice words for the pup when he resurfaced. Going off on his own was dangerous and reckless, and the cub would have to learn fast this would not be tolerated. Virajith eyed his targets and then launched himself from his hiding place and snapping up two of the minnows in his mouth before the school scattered. Locking his grip on the small wriggling fish he swam back to the surface. He emerged on the bank dripping wet with a proud look on his face. Then he spotted the pair of alphas and his eyes widened in surprise. Then his tails waived about happily, clueless to having done anything wrong.

Kiana watched as her mate looked at the water, figuring he was trying to decide what to do. When he didn't jump in the water, she figured he probably thought the pup would be fine, like a part of herself knew. Seeing him narrow his eyes, she had a feeling that Rothar would be telling the pup about being more careful. She was about to speak again, when she heard the sound of the water. Turning her attention in the direction she heard the splash, she was relieved to see Virajith come back to the surface. Getting back up to her feet, she hurried over to the pup as best as she could. She nuzzled him gently, glad that he really was alright and nothing had happened. Seeing the excited look on his face, she couldn't exactly find it in her heart to be mad. " I am so glad you made it back safely, little one. Also, it seems that you were successful in your own hunting. Though, I do think my mate would like to speak to you, he just joined us,"she spoke. Her golden eyes looked to Rothar, requesting he go easy on the pup. She knew the little one did not mean any harm, he was just trying to help.

『Rothar & Virajith』 Virajith nuzzled momma sky back affectionately then put the two small fish down on the bank. "I got fishes for Momma Sky." He said brightly. Then turned his head to look up into the fierce, intimidating, narrowed green eyes of Rothar and his tail drooped and his ears folded back slightly under his intense gaze. He wasn't necessarily scared, but he definitely picked up that he was upset for some reason. The fresh blood on his lips didn't help much to ease the fierceness either. Rothar glanced into Kiana's golden eyes then back to the now clearly intimidated pup. by looking into his big brown eyes he could tell the cub sensed he had done something wrong but didn't quite grasp what it was he had done. He gave a slight sigh and his sharp gaze softened slightly. "Don't go off on your own like that. You could get hurt and you gave Kiana a fright." His tone scolding but not harsh. Then he glanced at the fish. They weren't much but he was actually impressed that a cub so young could already fend for himself. Maybe he wouldn't be just a burden and something to worry about. He stepped closed and reached a paw out towards Virajith, who closed his eyed and folded his ears back as if expecting to be struck. Rothar ruffled his wet black fur. "That being said, it looks like you may grow into a fine hunter." He stepped back the same stoic look on his face. Virajith opened his eyes and looked up at the large intimidating male and tilted his head curiously but didn't say a word as his ears perked back up.

Kiana smiled warmly as she felt Virajith nuzzle her back, she was already quite fond of him. When he mentioned the fish, she nodded her head, she could see the two fish on the ground. It may not have been very many, but the fact the pup had done it on his own was wonderful. She had a feeling he would be an asset to their pack, she hoped Rothar thought so too. Speaking of the red and white male, she turned in his direction as he glared at the pup. She heard him tell the little one that he shouldn't run off like that again, that it would worry her. Of course, she knew, it would worry Rothar too, even if he would not admit it. As the older male approached them, she watched as he ruffled the pup's fur. " He is right, Virajith, I would worry about your safety if I am not around to watch. I will say, congratulations on bringing some fish back, I am proud. Just next up, let me come over too, so that I know you are okay. Also, since I have never eaten fish, can you show me what to do?"she asked, before nuzzling both of her boys.
