Jaro had layers of meat and cheese, a thin layer of lettuce with sliced tomato, and then another slice of bread before he did it all over again. The supplied veggies were slid over on a paper plate to be shared.

'Maybe you need to get out of this dead end town.. ever think about that?" Some would argue it, but itwasn't a secret that Jaro at least wished he lived somewhere warmer. He'd been pndering a warm vacation (but truth was that he'd taken one last year, had his fun- physical and otherwise, and returned darker skinned and still unfulfilled).

Jaro actually made a face, "Well I have no choice. This is my business."

He would much prefer leaving but down to his core he was a nester and he was very lazy.

"There's more places in the world than your college and here." He sunk into a chair after moving some mail off of it (that he'd apparently just thrown there, when was this mail from? It wasn't even opened).

Jaro actually rolled his eyes and shrugged.

"Nobody summons me." He then made a point out of taking a huge bite from his sandwich and then pointing to the trash can.

Chuck it Aodh. Or recycle it. Whatever you want.

"Mmmm maybe. But I guess that means I'm the best at something?" Being the worst obviously.

Jaro went back to his massive sandwich, again motioning dismissively about a million dollars.

"Money dun't buy erryfink-" He was talking with his mouthful.

"Some custom work I've been delaying on.." The internet orders. Things for in-town were always prioritized first and Jaro had been good about at least keeping a work log in more recent years.

He didn't want to admit he spent a lot of time welding bits into nameless shapes that he hated, melted down, and tried again. If he even tried. Some bits were tossed into piles and forgotten until he needed the metal for something else.

"The office is a mess again though." He grinned before taking another bite.

"Mmm hmm.." Jaro chewed again, "So boring..." His head rolled back a bit. It was very hard to stay motivated into doing things for strangers.

This bigger older Aodh was definitely better on the eyes than the young scrawnier version. He'd almost forgotten that the young man four years ago looked much different. The blonde did still have a bit of a babyface, an open sort of expression, even if now he had more stubble. He wondered if Aodh still blushed as easily or riled to anger as quickly.

"I clearly have just been an absolute waste without you.." Jaro grinned, now much more lazily reclined with his foot propped somewhere underneath the table and his head cast back.

"Probably." But it was so easy, "But I haven't teased you in forever.. don't rob me of my fun."

Not to mention he hadn't teased much of anyone. It had been a while since he had anyone around to relax with.

He also could leave out the bits where he actually had been a waste. It wasn't on account of Aodh of course. The scrapped had just been generally dissatisfied with everything around him.

Jaro's feet hit the ground again, taking a drink of his soda and picking up the second half of his sandwich to eat again. Aodh still got shot smirky looks above his food.
