Ocean Tea
Jamie watched the steam waft slowly up from his tea, arcing into a soft wave before disappearing into thin air. Head cradled in his arms on the table, he let his eyes drift shut. Equinox was no place he ever would've found on his own, but with Lady's guidance and Lily's reassurance, he'd started to visit and found it a wonderfully peaceful place.
Somedays there was music, as gentle as it came, or somedays it was a little more upbeat and earthy. Today Eve was playing whale songs, and while Jamie found it an unusual choice for a shop, he certainly wasn't complaining.
In fact, he was smiling a tiny smile, eyes still closed as he recalled the first time he'd met Shiloh and they'd somehow wound up on the topic of whale songs. What a silly thought.

The FourthIn time, Lucas would likely come to realize that Jamie was the King of Hesitation. He had no idea who sunshine was or if he was reading into it wrong, but rather than ask (that would be awkward) he tried to casually avoid the topic.TO LUCAS yeah we can is it okay if i bring someone? TO LILY i got asked to meet by one of us

Trip to the TidesThe weather was slowly getting warmer, and the breeze that blew in over the water felt less biting than it had earlier in the year when he'd visited. It was almost impossible for Jamie to resist taking off his shoes as soon as he hit the sand, and though he'd held out for a short time by trying to convince himself this was an important meeting with people he didn't want to look foolish in front of, he'd finally taken them off anyway. Now all he had to do was wait for Lily and Lucas, the one with the metal arm. Holy cow was he nervous...

Trip to the TidesHe was hard to miss, the dark-skinned man with his dark ponytail, an equally dark tank top setting off his prosthetic arm. His eyes were downcast - he didn't know what the other two looked like, after all - making his way towards the sand. When Lucas looked up, his eyes immediately went to the young man already there, arching a brow in question. "You waiting for me?" he asked quietly, a question easily brushed off if he was mistaken to the other's identity.

Trip to the TidesLily did not have beach shoes--her previous home had been landlocked, and while doing a sun salutation at sunrise certainly seemed like a serene way to get likes on instagram, Lily felt it was overdone. But she had a mop of curls to impress and a werewolf to meet, so it was off to the dollar store for a cheap pair of flip flops. The ones she had picked were an olive green, and had poorly printed frogs on the textured surface. They clopped on the dock all the way to the sand and matched hideously with the rest of her outfit, made up of black shorts and a crop top that read: DON'T READ THIS SHIRT (you're a rebel, I like you) She also wore dollar store shades, given that it was bright outside and the sands were just about blinding. It helped hide the furrow to her brow as her feet touched sand and she looked around--everything was level, there was nothing easy to climb here. But for the sake of Jamie she pressed on, lifting an arm in greeting when she thought she saw him sitting among the rocks. "What's shakin', corn puff?" Her gaze traveled past Jamie to the older man, and with a shrug she waved at him, too.
