"Wasn't born with one but I could try just ger you." Chel let out a long sigh before withdrawing to the lip of her chair. She went back to nursing her drink and was, as requested, quiet. But she did occasionally look up at him with a kicked puppy look before glancing back down at her drink.

Shun was surprised that she actually piped down, but he wasn't about to complain. With a sigh, his attention went back to his laptop, as he continued what he had been doing before.

Chel took a very loud suck from her straw and watched him with owlish eyes.

Shun slowly lifted his gaze to stare at Chel over the top of his screen. There was a sort of cold glare in his eyes.

Chel put her cheek in her hand and leaned on the table.

Shun continued to glare at her for a bit, before returning his attention to his readings. He reached over to drink more, but quickly remembered that he had finished it not long ago. He let out a disgruntled noise and set that empty cup back down

Eventually she couldn't take it.
"I'd offer t'replace it but I'm broke." Just a tiny little comment. Itsy bitsy. Barely even noticeable.

By now Chel's drink was also empty and she set the paper cup on the rim of the table, threatening to fall off at any moment. She didn't notice.
"What's that s'posed t'mean?"

"I would not expect you or anyone else other than myself to get myself a new drink. Simple as that," he shrugged, though he didn't look up from his screen.

"Mm." That was ... a little sad, actually. She wondered why he had such distrust in people. She was quickly learning not to ask broad questions though.
She peered over at the screen again. "Will you at least tell me why yer doin' that?"

She put a hand to her face, stealing his exasperated face for a moment. "Highlightin' stuff and makin' it robot talk."

And actually, she was. "You can't read good neither?"
Though "bad at reading" and "dyslexic" were two very different things.
