Motionless, Kylar faded from sight, the suit becoming invisible as he exercised his own power. The loud car alarm continued, but he hoped the sound would be lost in the chaos of the renegade attack. People fled ignoring their surroundings for the most part, the obvious slaughter not worth stopping to inspect as they fled for their lives. The noise droned on in his head, probably the only one left to hear it after everyone else had fled.
Twenty minutes later, the alarm continued to blare. Kylar followed along at some point to keep from being driven mad by the noise, or perhaps he already had been. "Bwaah Bwaah Bwaah, Beep Beep Beep, Bwaah Bwaah Bwaah, Beep Beep Beep." The siren suddenly cut off, ending Kylars amusement abruptly. The screen began to reboot a message popping up across the display, 'Thank you for testing... Security... Theft Deterrent! Testing completed, please report any errors to a technician. Resuming normal operation.' The messages faded as everything else began to slowly power up, the hydraulics regaining functionality he was able to move finally.
Kylar began to stretch out in the suit after being stationary for twenty minutes. Trying to make sure everything was alright he moved around slowly spotting a woman as she ran up to the destroyed hotel before collapsing in exhaustion. She looked just like one of the two that had been on camera with the title Sanctuary, the girl that Criel had been poking fun at before everything went down. Kylar approached as she lost consciousness, a threatening black glow that surrounded her fading as she lost the ability to hold it.
Kylar wasn't sure what the blackness was, but it gave him an uneasy feeling as if it was dangerous. The way it looked, the aura on it everything screamed threatening. He stood over her debating leaving her, but he couldn't do that not here not after what he had done. He reached out cautiously picking her up as he pulsed his own energy throughout her unconscious body to ensure that she couldn't activate that deadly darkness when she first awoke. [Sealing Plague] Slowly he marched away holding the girl gently in the suits powerful arms.
