Before he could leave the booth, Rastin's gaze settled upon the pinata. What was this about? His brows furrowed. Other trolls of all ages seemed to be swarming that thing and smashing it about with a bat. It seemed a little barbaric...

He glanced around, put his hood over his head, and grabbed a spare bat.

His first swing definitely made contact, but the empty gaze of the beast gave him a bit of a shock. It wasn't all that terrifying, though, and he continued to swing despite feeling tired. To anyone watching him, he looked like he was having some sort of fit, missing most of the time rather than doing anything substantial. He was sure he looked like a complete idiot.

After all that spinning and flailing about, Rastin's center of balance was just about through with him, and his body slammed face forward in the snow. He allowed himself to lay there for a moment, just to let the rest of his dizziness to subside, and slowly rose to his feet again.

"Well, this is something I won't be doing again." He huffed, wobbling carefully to put the bat back where he'd found it.

The library was now CLOSED - temporarily. Regina was taking a short breather to go around the booths and see what her loyal subjects had to offer. At first she walked past the yellow-hued booth, seeing nothing more than a few fun, harmless games. Zzz. However, as she walked away, a bright rainbow of colours hidden around the other side of the booth caught the corner of her eye and she swaggered back over. When the vaguely familiar yellowblood (From that thing, right. Right?) hurried over, Regina wouldn't even have considered declining the bat. Winding up, she swung it at where she was pretty sure the effigy had been hanging, and felt a small patter of candy softly bounce against her face as a result.

Bending down to pick up the scattered victory of her first swing, the empress frowned as she straightened up. What direction was the stuffed candy sack in, exactly? Regina didn't even hesitate as she reached up to remove her blindfold - then with her fingers around the corner of it, she paused. Bloodfest was the one time of the year where winning wasn't a matter of life or death. It was a fun option, the key word being option. Giving a small laugh, she picked up the bat and began to whiff at the air around where she remembered the pinyata to be.

After getting a couple of smacks in, Regina eventually sat down rather heavily, and let out a huff. She was pretty sure that whatever direction she was facing was totally different from where the candy filled creature shaped smackbox was, thanks to the blindfold. Well, she was pretty sure she had gotten her 'three tries' and possibly a few more in, so that was enough for now. Fumbling with the blindfold, she tossed it back to the yellowblood, and threw a quick compliment as well.

"Fun game - I bet you could get some real combat practice training this way."

Of course, you'd have to have another troll also with a blindfold and a bat to fight against. Maybe switch out to edged weapons after a while, hmm. She mulled the idea over in her thinkpan as she wandered away from the booth and back into the crowds.

Caiden say Elidae and skipped over to her booth. "ELIDAE!!! How are you?! Your booth is soo cool! Whats it all about? OMG all this sparkly stuff!!! This is sooo cool!!!" You can still hear the brownblood child talking away as he reaches for things, cuts a snowflake and generally enjoys the booth.

Caiden marveled at how beautiful the pinata was. It swayed in the night breeze. "But.. Its so PRETTY!! Do i HAVE to hit it? Ide rather hug it, you know! I mean, LOOK HOPE HAPPY IT IS! We could be BEST FRIENDS!" Caiden obviously did not hit the pinata hard at all, and hugged the thing after.

Caiden glanced at the prizes. There were some really pretty ones, and the brownblood shifted from foot to foot. He glanced at the pinata again, then back to the prizes, then to the brutal stick the trolls were using to hit the poor pinata. It was a hard choice and Caiden yelled apologies to the colorful pinata as he took a swing.

Caiden was surprised at how easy it got as he continued to swing at the colorful pinata. He slowly felt less guilty about hurting such a beautiful thing, and more excited at the ribbons he was amassing. Caiden even grinned as he examined his pile, trying not to look at the pinata.

Chiara grinned when she saw Elidae's booth and walked right for it. Chiara momentarily sneered at the greenblood who was also at the booth. "Hey there Elidae." the blueblood drawled, leaning in close to the yellowblood. "You should really ditch the skum blood. You know you can do better than that piece of s**t, right?" Chiara whispered to Elidae, winking at her as she pulled back.

Next it was on to the fun stuff. Chiara picked up the bat and rolled her muscles. It was time to imagine a certain nearby greenblood's head on that pinata. It would make the experience all the more gratifying. When Chiara picked up the candy that dropped out of the pinata, the blueblood got lucky. It was a piece of yellow candy. Chiara made sure to unwrap it slowly, staring at Elidae the entire time, and made a show of popping the yellow candy into her mouth. "That was fun" Chiara said to Elidae, "Ill be back tomorrow okay?" and left the booth, giving the yellowblood one last wink.

Well this was a cute booth! Pretty glitzy. And...a lot going on. Luxara felt, looking at all this, this is basically what she should really be basing her persona on. City lights and pep! Though probably not her own pep, but some kind of other pep that wouldn't make anyone go 'oh that's Luxara'.

But it was a good reference! And, holy moly, there was so much stuff! She'd have to whack the s**t out of that pinata sometime. Er. Daintily. But for now, she decided to check out the lollypops. The game seemed simple enough. Not even really a game, in her eyes. Just pull one out, and...she didn't win any thing. Well, it really wasn't a game if she didn't have a chance. Whatever! She huffed with some amount of exaggeration and went on her merry way.

Elidae! Elidae's booth!

There was so much going on- lights, colours, candy, games-- OH MY GOG WAS THAT AN ASSBEAST YOU BEAT UP? Frossa was down. SOOO down. She knew wordlessly that Emiola would, too. They had an unspoken connection like that.

Really, the blindfold only added to the fun.

Once equipped with the vision-blockers, Frossa flailed the bat wildly, giving it a few 'testing' swings. It wasn't horribly unlike her own weapon. Then she fell silent, motionless. She focused all of her energy on her other senses, tuned out the chatter of the crowd, trying to hone in on the pinata. She could practically see it in front of her, swaying in the light breeze. All those nights spent in the hunts- the pitch black forest, waiting for the opportune moment to strike at an unwitting troll- that was all in preparation for this very moment.

Frossa swung with expertise grace, connecting squarely with the fauxbeast's a**.

Frossa wasn't done yet. Ooooh no. Not by a longshot.

She had two more hits, right? Had to make them count-!

The next one she felt connect solidly with the pinata- but still, no candy reward. She wanted the damn thing to bleed.

Planting her feet firmly in the snow, Frossa took aim once again. Focus. Drawing her arms up, she took a few steps forward, and struck with all the force her little body could muster.

CRACK.

The pinata swayed.

She had hit it- but it flipped uselessly in the air almost soundlessly, unaffected.

However, the troll standing behind the line of fire wasn't so lucky.

Poor, poor Emiola.

[ After Punkie left the doll decorating booth she felt something stir within her. She felt weird. She wanted, no, craved more bobble-head dolls. She would have to talk to her lusus Carver about it later, was this a holy and mirthful path to take? Her bloodpumper did seem to beat fiercely for her meager collection to grow. The orangeblood's eyes locked onto the two bobbleheads offered at this next booth. 80 tickets each. She needed them. Maybe she could get Sephos to try for one of them.

The orangeblood picked up the weapon to harm the pinata with and proceeded to wack it with vicious devotion. "come on the orangeblood muttered under her breath with each swing. She needed those ribbons.
