Fake fur....that was passible. Someone of his fine tastest would've PREFERRED real fur to some....synthetic fake....but he could make it look good. It certainly didn't FEEL as nice as real fur though. He set the item on the counter as he continued unpacking, pulling out the feathers next. Hm....well, one way or another it seemed he would going for a lusus-themed outfit.....it could work. Next was the fiber optic fabric, clearly the most interesting thus far. Miache rolled the fabric in his hands, appreciating the way it glowed. Fantastic! And he could certainly make the items work for the circus theme! He pulled out the last item and froze, giving the item a most disdainful look. Googly eyes.....clearly someone must have entered it as a joke item.

Miache sighed heavily before wrapping the fabric around the doll, making a bodysuit of the lumiescent material, tugging it around the neck to fold over, leaving the shoulders bare. The material was fitted around the legs into rather short shorts, pinning it in place. The fur was cut apart, shaped into both a short vest and sash that was pinned at the doll's left hip. A hairband was fashioned with the feathers and googly eyes, the feathers crafting a rather billowing look with the eyes lining the hairband. More feather down was attached along the neckline of the bodysuit. Quite the artistic look if he did say so himself!

She felt the leather, it was sturdy yet soft, the cashmere she rubbed all over face. The two feelings brought visions to the young juggalo and she knew what to do. "Hehehehe" The orangeblood giggled as she chose, guess what, GOOGLY EYES as her wild card. Using thread and needle the girl sewed herself a lion suite. The cashmere was fluffed up and made to look like a mane around the doll's head, and the leather was used for most of the body. Punkie looked at the costume for a second before realizing she had one more material to pull out! Pipe cleaners gave the lion outfit a perfect tale, and a whip to signal tricks. Punkie looked at her work and placed two googly eyes for finishing touches.

Sandpaper crown with silly string can hidden inside to shoot out. Fiber optic fabric used to make crazy heart leotard. Also combined with feathers sewn onto it to create a rainbow changing boa.

SPECIAL EVENT
Rollover!

"Wow, I am really tired, dunno about you guys." Amonee's laugh sounded exhausted and really hollow. He rubbed at his face and swayed for a moment. "What would you like to order? Wait, I mean-" His face flushed in confusion and he silently unveiled the challenge whiteboard with the next theme for any interested designers.

NEW THEME: ALIENS

"I need to help a friend out so I'll be out of the booth today but please still enter into the competition, okay?" He looked a bit moody and waved as he left. Clearly this friend was trying his patience. With that, he left the booth.

Amonee is out of the booth! You are free to grab ANY materials you want to work with as he is not around to enforce the grab bag policy. You may skip rolling 4d20 and just use whatever you like for this round!

If drawing a sketch is easier, please feel free to post that instead of a written description! The 100 words requirement has been lifted but you must include some kind of description of what your troll makes! Please try to have your posts filled before midnight if you can. The rollover is pretty lax and I'm willing to wait a little late for last minute additions but try to do your best!

She swatted a few trolls who were taking too many items and proceeded to lecture a group of looters on proper conduct and manners. Then she turned to her own doll and got to work. Aliens huh... Well Punkie was no cheater and she stuck to the 4 materials rule. Punkie painted the doll all a weird salmon color first, then added one googly eye right in the center. With the cotton she made a tweed jacket and lined it with fur. Yes, no one in their right mind would wear something like that. She giggled and added a jeweled button for good measure. They were really growing on her.

You could just pick whatever you wanted? Ophila stared at the table of materials. There were so many. There were twenty different materials, and you could pick up four , but they could also all four be the same. Which...twenty times twenty times four.... That was so many...so many different choices. Ophila put her head in her hands and began buzzing, distressed and overwhelmed. She only looked up when Buzzbud nudged her, holding one of the grab bags of random materials. "Oh...thanks Buzzbud...." This was going to effect her for the rest of the night.

Ophila draped the cloth over her doll so it looked like a ghost, randomly gluing googly eyes and feathers over it, and then spraying vertical stripes on it with silly string. That would have to do. Ophila didn't feel very well all of a sudden....

nucleo is using everything except what i just rolled

Nucleo had plenty of time to work on his mo-doll. He'd spent most of the day lounging in Amonee's bean bag extraordinaire. Still struggling with what to do over Elidae, he'd spent most of the day playing with the various craft supplies without really thinking. Amonee had mentioned something about aliens before dashing off so he decided to make one as a thank you for dealing with his booth for him.

First he used some pipe cleaners to make tendrils that flew out in many directions. Then he covered the various pipe cleaners with denim, cashmere, silk, and satin. Each tendril was covered in a different pliable fabric. At the end of each tendril he attached a feather. It dawned on him that he needed a good way to attach this framework to the outfit so he used some duct tape to secure the base of the tendrils to a leather undersuit. He then cut some holes in the fake fur to shove the tendrils through and then draped it over the leather undersuit. It was looking good but could still use a little more work. Oh he knew! Shoving the can of silly string inside the leather bodysuit, he cut a slit in top of the fake fur to create an opening for a mouth and stuck the nozzle of the silly string pointed out. If someone squeezed the outfit, the mouth would spit out silly string! Next he cut some teeth shapes out of the satin and used the wild card to allow himself the use of a hot glue gun to glue them at the edge of the mouth opening. Hmmm not shiny enough. He added some rhinestones to the teeth to make them more prominent.

It had a definite monster feel to it but he felt unsatisfied. It didn't scream alien. But wait! The bubble wrap! The fiber optic fabric! YES! Cutting another hole at the crown of the head, Nucleo glued in some of the fiber optic fabric. It made sort of a pocket so he dropped a handful of jeweled buttons inside and then borrowed some fish line for his second wild card. He used the fish line to sew some bubble wrap over this weird pocket of crazy colors and glam and grinned. It gave the alien the appearance of having an exposed brain full of crazy shifting colors and lights! Yes this was more like it!

All that was left was some eyes. He glued eight googly eyes in between the brain and mouth and called it good. This was sure to amaze Amonee when he returned!

Eyzaak came trotting over to the booth with the doll stuff. A frustrated furrow of his brow..as he’d lost track of his lusus and Autumn for the time being. Huffing he sat down and looked around as he snatched up materials at random after asking someone to tell him what the words on the board said..much to his annoyance at needing to ask for help. He had missed the booth the other night, to busy running around playing. However, he had made a promise to Autumn that he would keep trying.

Seeing as there was no Jadeblood police to tell him what he could, and couldn’t use…Eyzaak set to work. Aliens. He imagined weird creatures with no horns. When he made his doll, he did not craft a pair of horn shapes. He also gave the design pipe cleaners for arms, with massive silly googly eyes that wiggled when he poked at his design. The fake fur was fashioned into a tail appendage to hang off the doll. Sure...he was ripping the doll apart a bit, and making modifications but Eyzaak wanted nothing more than to tinker away all the same.

He also sewed on rather scrappy looking jeweled button for a nose. It looked odd, but he didn’t really give a damn. Next he made the cloths out of some jean material, hastily cutting out the clothes shape and managing to nearly stab himself with the needle and thread he was using. Satin was collected to make a shirt, along with rhinestones decorating the collar. When all was said and done, the outfit was completed with bubble wrap shoes..because the stuff was so damn fun to play with and make pop noises with.

Satisfied with what he had made he turned it in before skipping off to the next great adventure.

Aliens. He huffed a laugh at the theme. Well, fair enough. Just what WOULD an alien wear? Probably something weird...something primative. He really couldn't see aliens being as advanced as them, he'd heard stories of how trolls had conquered other, inferior species....so just how DID he picture them? Miache eyed the doll, pacing around it thoughtfully. Items of his own choosing, eh?

The pipe cleaners and silly string he fashioned into hair, bending the pipe cleaners back into the shape of a ponytail, and spraying the silly string in a show of very clear 'messy hair'. He stuck feathers in the hair, looking rather....unorganized for his usual taste, but fit the image he was going for. The fur he wrapped around the body of the doll, tying it closed with a leather belt and finishing with leather mocasins. Miache stepped back to eye his work proudly. Yes, it looked very....primative....barbaric! OH! But the final touch! Miache couldn't help the impish grin as he stuck two googly eyes in place of real ones. It looked VERY silly! He was rather proud of his creativity.

SPECIAL EVENT
Rollover!

Amonee had come in early to unveil the challenge whiteboard with the next theme for any interested designers. There was a note left on the board that announced he was covering for his friend again and to please come visit the Nightly Grind should anyone need to contact him! In smaller print it says to let him immediately if Nucleo Glatte was sighted around Bloodfest that night...

With two jars of chicken noodle soup in her arm and two pairs of plastic silverware, Elidae made her way to the Mo-Doll after speaking with Amonee at The Nightly Grind. Even if she felt like she didn't have a lot of time- in fact, she needed to get back to her own booth- she felt it necessary to do what the greenblood asked. Besides, she felt a little worried for the boy and sincerely cared about his well-being. When she arrived, she could see his bun poking above one of the bean chairs. Elidae bit the side of her mouth, then, carefully walked up beside him.

"Heeey!" She said gently, though still with a positive pep to her tone. "Did you take a break today? I stopped by your booth tonight and you weren't there! Not that I wasn't happy to see Amonee, of course." Despite her cheerful demeanor, her expression seemed to be laced with concern."Ahh! He told me to relay the message to feel better!" She then offered him one of the jars of his soup with a genuine smile to go with.

Seen it. Seen it. Maybe- nope, seen it.

Nucleo flipped through the channels on Amonee's television while lounging in his bean bag arena, feeling lousy. He was mad at himself for feeling so torn up over this, even after having a nice long talk with his friends. What did he have to do to feel better about it?

"E-elidae?" And suddenly she was here, right beside him. Flustered by her appearance, he turned and saw her smiling so sweetly. She offered him soup and showed concern over him and his pumpbiscuit oh how it soared. Keenly aware of his feelings now, the boy smiled sheepishly at himself. Was it really this unsuppressible?

"Yeah, sorry about that." The greenblood laughed apologetically. He hadn't remembered that he'd asked her to come by, stupid! Feeling bad, he wasn't sure if he should bring it up and make it awkward or just play it off as whatever. How casual should he act? It was strange to be so aware of himself now in her presence. Was it always like this? It was so hard to be natural when he wanted to impress her and yet at the same time didn't because she...

"I was just a little overwhelmed. I'm sure you know the feeling what with you running a booth too. You should get back to it." Maybe the kindest thing to do would be to fade out. He didn't want to get in her way after all. His chest tightened at the thought.

"I'm gonna head back to the hotel anyway. See you round." He didn't know now how he'd regret this decision.
