Eyzaak was pretty damn excited. A few weeks ago, he'd been stuck in a much smaller body compared to the one he now sported. His grub legs were gone, and the two he now totted around on were plenty enough to get him around. While it was cold, a few extra layers had served him well enough. Bundled up, he had ahold of Autumn's hand. Not that he was into sappy stuff or anything, there was just so many damn trolls around the small kid couldn't help it. He'd knock the stuffing out of anyone who said otherwise. A toothy smile revealed his crooked fang as he tugged at the winged yellowbloods hand. "Yo! Flutters! Oh man, what is this stuff?? Whatever this is, it sure does smell good. Commere! Let's try some alright?" Not bothering to read the booth sign, the kid let go of her hand so he could grab a cup. He stretched a gloved hand out, snatching at a cup without hesitation. Sniffing at the hot liquid, he quickly drank from the container. At first the taste of chocolate hit his palate, which the kid's eyes lit up with wonder. However, the kick behind it of spice had him howling in dismay. "ACK WHAT IS THIS STUFF? UGH...I think my mouth is DYING!" He screeched noisily for anyone in earshot. Wiping at his tongue, whining in frustration as heat traveled across his skin all the while. Hopping around, the boy began frantically fanning at his mouth. While he had been cold, there was no fear of freezing now. His mouth felt like a freaking fire pit! Unlike Eyzaak, Autumn knew how to read—or at the very least, how to pay attention. As the blueblood (and Caterpal) rushed forward and grabbed a cup, Autumn moseyed over and examined the booths contents. Her eyes alighted upon a particular interesting cupcake, and she turned to warn her companions. ... Too late. Expression smug, she watched the two reel. Caterpal ejected it almost immediately while Eyzaak somehow managed to actually down it. Autumn burst out into laughter at his exclamation. “I'm sure it's not that bad,” she said simply. Selecting a cup, she brought it to her lips. She was certain she could handle anything, and definitely out-do her friend and lusus. A second later, Autumn's face froze. She made a choked sound, and then swallowed. She blinked once, fighting back the tears that threatened to form. Her hands tightened around the cup. Finally, tossing it into the trash, she gestured for Eyzaak and Caterpal to follow her. leon_a_darkangel Just a note for everyone, she's wearing a cute fur-lined coat and has her wings tucked beneath atm!

 Caiden excitedly scampered over to the booth. "Drinks?!" The brownblood exclaimed with a grin on his face. Ever since the boy had tried Nucleo's hot coca he had been gungho about trying drinks. "This looks so good! Oh man and i get to choose a cup! Okay... Ill choose this one! It smells good! Oh man!" Caiden babbled as he raised the drink to his lips. "WOAH!" Caiden exclaimed as the drink hit his taste buds. "Thats CRAZY hot! Ack!"

The warm scents wafting in the cool air had Malice interested, if only because she was absolutely freezing and needed a little pick me up. Despite the lowblood owner, she took her chances on one of the small hot shots and downed the whole thing in one go.
Fire. Everything was on fire.
Slamming her fist on the counter, Malice's eyes bugged as she tried to contain all the shock. What was this liquid hellfire she was given? No. No, she had to be stronger than this. Stronger. She could handle a little heat. This was fine. Entirely fine. In fact, her whole body felt so warm, she felt a little numb!

Eyzaak made a face, shuddering at the heat. He could be as tough as he wanted but holy grubmothers that was not his idea of enjoyable. Stubbornly however, he refused to continue to wail as he stiffened his chin and huffed. His mouth had gone numb, as the fire spread down his pipe chute. He couldn't help but look smug as she coughed even as he disposed of his now empty cup. Uh huh. Not bad right? The fact he couldn't read had backfired on him. Although he let that fact roll off his shoulders. Swallowing the prickling feeling in his throat he silently began after Autumn, Sundry in tow after the lot. For once, Eyzaak kept his trap shut and followed without saying another word. His eyes burned into the back of her skull, with a clear 'I told you So' look on his face.

He had come prepared tonight. Armed with a box of tissues, a canteen with chunks of ice to suck on and a strong painkiller (just in case, it'd make him really drowsy though), Cerpin approached to try his hand again at the guessing game of internal burns.
"Gimme one of those." He grunted and eyed the shot intensely before downing the entire thing in one go. Ha, he had done it! He had swallowed the poison without chickening out. Tears began to form but Cerpin dabbed at them with his tissues. Somehow, they looked like white flags of surrender but he didn't care. It began to sting in his throat though and a hand flew to his neck from the alarm of the painful sensation.
W-was it somehow worse than yesterday's batch? It felt like his vocal chords had gone camping and were pitching up a bonfire in there. The pitiful rockstar chugged some of his milk to no avail. Ice cubes didn't seem to help either! He needed to get out of here.
"Get out of the way!" Cerpin barreled out of the booth and out of sight in search of a good place to scrap the remnants of the drink off his tongue in private.

"Me again!" A voice sang out cheerfully as Nucleo approached Cerise's booth once more. Smiling as she gestured for him to take a cup, the greenblood leaned in to take a big whiff of the area. Then he followed his nose! She couldn't fool a barista like him!
"Victory is sweet!" The boy grinned and downed the shot, pleased to discover he'd picked right!
"That was good! I'll be back for more tomorrow!" Confident he'd do well again tomorrow, the greenblood nodded to the booth owner and sauntered off with a smile.

Rasali's outfit was definitely hot, but unfortunately it wasn't in the made-for-snowy-weather kind of way. She'd either need to find something to heat herself up, or retreat back to Aandes booth where she could huddle behind the counter with the space heater. Or use her new cover as his matesprit to get all up in Aandes' personal face and make him hold her freezing hands. As tempting as that was, the hot chocolate at the booth next to her was much closer. It was being advertised as extra hot, which was exactly what Rasali needed at that moment. She picked up a cup and took a swig. Oh. That kind of hot. Rasali's temperature problem inverted itself as the spiciness took a hold of her senses. Her eyes were watering. Her nose was running. This was definitely not the look Aandes had in mind when he'd dressed her. If she'd smudged her mascara with tears she'd have hell to pay back at the Starlight booth. Rasali bravely chugged her entire drink, crushed the cup, and spiked it into the nearby trashcan with the fist of an angry god. Then she ran like hell towards the nearest public ablutionblock.

After finishing off the delicious apples she'd won in a previous booth, Akkira followed the scent of chocolate to a warmer booth. She'd need it, honestly. She wasn't as soaked as earlier, however she was still cold and could use a bit of a warm up. Spicy or not spicy, this drink would probably be good for her. After bumping into the booth she hoped was the right one, Akkira felt around until she grabbed a cup, it felt soOOOOO good on her cold fingers.
after soaking up the warmth of the cup for more than a few minutes, Akkira finally started to drink the warm elixir. Alas, the spice laced chocolate burned the poor redblood's tongue. She let out a choked cry and gripped the cup. Too cold to really move and not wanting to drop her current only heat source. Eugh, she was definitely going to make some nice soothing tea when she went home.

"I'm back!" Nucleo smiled as he approached Cerise once more. He was trying really hard not to be cheeky confident but a little swagger showed in his posture. This was a mistake.
Clearly the girl wasn't about to let get off easy today after winning yesterday! He breathed in the sweet scents and then reached down to take one of the cups feeling good about it. In retrospect he should've considered that she might mask the fragrance better now that he'd already used that drink.
"Bottom's up!" Knocking the shot back, Nucleo's entire throat froze and burned. Agony was putting it gently. His eyes immediately teared up and he was surprised his body didn't automatically spit the drink out. No that would be impolite. Then again is poisoning your audience polite? AGgghhhh!
"Hhhhhhhaaahhhh!" He took off running, heading back to his booth for something to soothe his throat!

One would think that Fellah would know better by now than to keep trying the hot chocolate, but nope. The redblood was once again drawn in under the thought of 'maybe it won't be so bad this time.'
But, as usual the redblood burns his mouth with the intensity of the spice. At least he was smart enough to not buy the cupcakes ahead of time to drop them. In his state of burning tongue though, he quickly went ahead and bought some more. All the sweets from Bloodfest sure were spoiling the country troll, but he just couldn't get enough.

"Yeowch, that's hot!!" Cerpin gasped after downing the latest mug of liquid fire. Was she adding even more spice to these things as the week went on? He did not want to cry but it seemed impossible to hold back the tears. It was just so painful! Coughing up a fit, the purpleblood scooted to the side of the booth before crawling behind one of the booth's banners and hugging his knees to chest to wait out the pain.
Aughhhh he just wanted a normal hot chocolate! Whyyyyyyy?!
