Personally, I already carry a lot of my own weight, just out of habit.
I enjoy having a heavy workload as long as it's not overwhelming.
That's really paradoxical. It's hard to explain, but basically, I already
run a freebies thread and a gold shop and I do RLC inbetween. If I
hold a solo auction, it's going to be for myself. I'm offering to help
with a guild based auction not run my own.
xD No worries, I can understand. I only meant it as a suggestion if you felt like you wanted to do more. :3 I just don't want to over tax the artists seeing as it won't be long before their needed to do artwork for rooms and such.

Hello! I posted in the Art Committee, but I also wanted to check in here as well and let you guys know that I'm more than willing to contribute art.
I will however be unable to draw from May 10-30, so if the art is due somewhere between May 15-30 I won't be able to do it.

I'll be asking for artists soon. This event will probably happen from may 1st to the 14th. Making the 15th the first day anyone could work on the artwork. I would at least give any artist at least 30 days after the end of the event, possibly more, to finish the artwork from the auction. Not sure if this would work for you as you'd be unavailable for half that time. However I could easily add a warning in the auction posts saying that you'll be delayed. So it wouldn't come as a surprise to any bidders.

I have been skirting around and seeing if I can get Kin donated, I'm still waiting on responses from people.
If we do this fundraiser, I do not mind buying one tree killer kin for it, HOWEVER, we would have to make more than what we paid for it, or the fundraiser would be moot.

We don't need to add in a tree killer if you can't find one for cheap, or free, don't worry about it.

So ideally: I need you to tell me your Ideal Goal on how much this fundraiser is going to raise.
Art Auctions can raise a LOT of funds rather quickly, but it all depends on the artists and how many people are interested in it. Past that your guess would be as good as mine. xD

I understand you will need to get more information more things finalized before you can give me a solid estimate which is fine, I just need it before I can make the decision to clear it with Pasta and Newsies about purchasing the "grand prize" kin for your thread.

For the gold raised, I ask that all donations you get people to give be donated straight to the Annual Ball mule with the exception of the art auction donations (for reasons that you stated) if it does not overly complicate things.
If not all trades can be given directly to the Annual Ball mule without complicating every bodies lives, then I ask that there be a post in the thread spotlighting all donators, and how much/what they donated to you so we can keep accurate track of that information.
I will be accepting/keeping track of all trades handled at the time on the mule so that I can give accurate updates Pasta and Newsies, and yourself in regards to the fundraisers success and so I can update the kickstart thread.

I was planning on useing the BlueForestMule I have, I've used him in the past to gather donations for the annual ball on, and at the end of the event all funds would go to the annual ball mule. However I do not mind having donations go directly to the annual ball mule, so long as I get the information I need to keep the thread updated. :3

Also I'm going to suggest affiliations with other Kin Give away threads, that way we can get some PR on the Ball with their threads (and the kickstart) and they can get some PR with us too, to build more of a relationship with the up coming ball as there has not been any publicity to it as of it and we can build repertoire.
The fund raising event will only be for like two weeks or so. But I do think it would still be a good idea to get affiliations with other give away threads. As many as we can. For those two weeks. As it could draw more attention towards us. The thread itself will of course have a post about the annual ball, I'll probably borrow the history from your thread as well. xD I was surprised to still see it in use. I had a hand in making it and even updated it a few years for the ball's use. :3

I'm not sure if these will be of use, as I would say none are really tree killers, but I have many kin I would not mind letting go. Listing them all is a hassle, so I will post pictures of my inventory. Some are leveled a tiny bit. Let me know if you have any questions or would like them.
I'll leave this for Hope to look over and sort out with you? It sounds like between you, me, and whatever Hope has gather we'll have more than enough to start with. I'm thinking about storing them on my BlueForestMule account to keep them apart from the kins I have/am keeping. xD
