It paid no attention to the girls at it stooped down to inspect the music box, its head cocked to the side. With its beak, the Unspoken flipped a switch, and waited. The same tune started up as last time, only now, it was not nearly so haunting. Depending on one's definition of haunting, anyway. The owl listened intently, and shot upwards, expression serious.
"Yes! Yes, this is perfect! My friend will very much like this! This gift will very much impress him, and he will bring me an ever better gift in response! Good!"
It turned to Erin.
"You. You may ask me three questions. I will answer them all honestly. This is my offer of gratitude."

Erin smiled, bowing her head briefly. Good, she wasn't sure she'd been able to fix it - mechanical things weren't like electronic things - yet it looked like she had. Still haunting, but less so. Maybe. She thought at least.
What to ask, what to ask. This was one of those places where it was important to not waste her questions and dig for information. Or she could ask about power or magic or any thousands of things. That said... She still felt agitated at the Unspoken's prodding of her - but perhaps that was the problem at hand. She knew it spoke truth, which was what hurt the most. Erin sighed softly in thought, thinking.
"If... if I asked you for help to stop fearing the hidden hurts, what would... happen?" she asked quietly, looking up at the owl. An interesting use of her questions, to be sure.
