Caedus shook his head, but seemed gentle all the same. "I appreciate the offer, but I do not have much to move, and I move frequently. It is the only way I can ensure my own safety. Not all are as kind or gentle as you. I can only hope that my luck will allow the good hearted to find me, and keep the ones who would do me harm away. Though, there is not so obviously a difference. But I must thank you for your kindness, again. You do too much for me."

"Well, you know you can always call me if you need help, right? I'd come as fast as I can."

Because his safety did in fact matter. He was a living person, alien or not, and deserved to feel safe as any other. "Besides, I like helping you out. You're a kind person too. You can handle me, that takes patience, really."
