Gwales Page of PlutoWhen she felt the tug this time, Prudence was in a position to respond. Her work schedule of late had been positively insane, leaving her with no energy to transform into Gwales Page of Pluto and patrol, let alone answer such a call. But now she had both the time and the energy -- and the inclination; she missed being Gwales, to be honest. So she transformed and Gwales found herself not quite where she expected. This didn't look like the amphitheater on Mars. But there were some familiar faces here -- Hvergelmir and Kairatos specifically -- so she settled in and listened to what everyone had to say. She hadn't heeded Caedus's summons, so the direct assault on the Negaverse was all new information to her. As was what they had retrieved from there: a piece of the Code! Gwales stared fascinated at the artifact, corrupted though it was. There had to be some way of purifying it, of rescuing it. That seemed to be the topic of discussion. All manner of idea was being tossed about, from using these crystal things that Caedus had to getting Camelot to try to getting any Royal to try. "If I may," she finally offered, standing, "I think it might be worth a try to push positive energy into it. We have a good number of us here. At worst, it doesn't work and we escalate, right?" She didn't know anything about this Caedus fellow anyway. EVERYONE AND THEIR DOG jasfk

Celsus Knight of Chronos and Emrys Squire of Neptune
"Before we start calling people out of bed, I suggest we start with Kairatos' suggestion of using transcendent abilities, as well as hers of trying to find Caedus for his crystals," said Celsus, with a nod towards Slievenamon. "I'm sure Camelot has his reasons for not attending, and I feel forcing him into responding to us could be counterproductive."
He caught Kairatos' grin and gave him a smile of his own, feeling, strangely, that they were all actually being relatively levelheaded about everything for once. The squabbling and the fighting that had occurred before they'd entered the portal into Negaspace had only made tensions run higher, made things worse, not better.
But it was going relatively smoothly here, and Celsus was grateful; after all that had happened, he did not know if he had the patience or the energy to handle more barbs.
Beside him, Emrys was looking worried, and Celsus cast him a reassuring look, reaching out with his good hand to squeeze his wrist.
His eyes flickered to Falias and Gwales, and Celsus said, "Perhaps we could try that, though, couldn't we? I mean, there are a lot of us here, both Transcended and otherwise, like she said. Maybe if we try and work together, we could figure something out."

Hy-Brasil, Page of EarthThe strange tug was a new sensation for Gwen. It was certainly not something she'd experienced before but somehow she knew how to respond. After leaving the hospital after visiting Isaiah, instead of heading home, she left the car parked in the hospital's lot and strolled down the street until she found somewhere that looked safe enough to power up and answer the call. Upon arrival, Hy-Brasil stood in the room with a bit of surprised look on her face. She wasn't sure what she had expected but appearing in a room of other Knights was certainly not it. It seemed that the conversation was already well underway and, unfortunately, she wasn't well versed in the problems that were going on until she finally heard someone mention 'The code'. Perfect. I don't know how much I'll be able to input but maybe I can learn about something here.Eyes scanned the multiple people gathered already and only found one that looked familiar, Slievenamon. The squire appeared to be in the heart of the conversation though, and not wanting to interrupt she opted to not approach. There are so many people here and I only know one. I am not really sure what that says about me. Maybe I need to patrol more? Anyone An intimidated newbie has arrived. lol

Slievenamon, Squire of Neptune
Slievenamon stood and scooped up the memo pads that had fallen to her feet. Tossing them into a small pile where she sat, she tentatively approached the Code piece and crossed her arms before her bosom as if, somehow, the Chaos plaguing it would jump into her own chest and corrupt her. She'd seen what happened to Harmonia and, while the power of Metallia intrigued her, she wasn't willing to become a victim to it.
"As said, we should really give it a try," she said, glancing between everyone in the room. "Maybe it would be like, I don't know, pouring water into a filled glass. All of the energy could cause the Chaos to overflow. But it... Might need somewhere to go, right? Would it it just dissipate into the air? Or need a container? If Caedus's crystals can hold it, I mean."
Slievenamon felt like she was talking in riddles or circles here, so she withdrew a step and sighed.
Really wish we had some answers, all of this speculation is unsatisfying.

"It's worth trying." Kairatos nodded. He could see why so many people were suggesting a similar idea. It was a matter of pride. Independence, and suggested their own ability to weigh on on the fate of something that impacted their powers. Worst comes to worse and it doesn't work I'm going to look to you guys for Campfire songs so we can pretend it was all on purpose.. Failas he guessed hadn't seen Trancendents in action much, which was reasonable, come to think of it, they weren't that common, he just seemed to have met a somewhat disproportional number of them. it was hard even to be mad anymore, and the anxious pacing at the start had vanished. He'd almost thought the hand in the dark... Havasu, Cetus, Phact, Venice... he'd started out feeling like they were an unusual, amazing anomaly, but the more this went on the more he saw a side of other knights he was damn well enjoying. "It might be like Purifying, but we've never done it before, so it's hard to know. I don't even know what happened to the Chaos when I was purified, I... always assumed it was destroyed, or pushed back where it came from."

Paris the smol
Paris wasn't exactly on board with trying new things and forcing anything on anyone. And from what he could tell, the code was sentient and was sorta... under the banner of well...
Semantics. The code was its own being, and forcing something on it wasn't exactly ideal to him, even in an abstract way. "Uh, excuse me." He didn't want to make a fuss but- "Uh, why do we have to purify the code?" He looked at the orb, thinking back to the peice he'd encountered. "I mean, Order and Chaos are two forces that are supposed to exist in tandem. Why purify it if its a natural thing? Forcing our powers on it- doesn't that make us no better than the negaverse?"
He shuffled in place, holding the skull in his hands and fidgeting with it. "It was in all that chaos- maybe we should leave it be. Risking things on an off chance... that didn't work out to well. I'd rather let it have a chance to sort itself out than trying to force it to do what we want."
Paris was sure someone was going to hit him for talking. "Sorry um. Sorry. It was just a thought. Sorry."

Oh that was a loaded question, wasn't it "Because things aren't in balance, not even close, for a start. Right now... Chaos has the upper hand. Everywhere. And secondly... Senshi are order... Negaverse are Chaos... and Knights are supposed to stand in the middle." There was an idea he personally still worked to come to grips with. "Because this is them trying to tilt the scale even more in their favor than it already is. We can't... There's no way we can try and keep things balanced we're all dragged into the Negaverse, like the rest of their agents. It's also why there's some debate if a Senshi would be able to fix the Code piece. Their magic works too differently. And before you ask... we're fighting with order, again, because things are out of balance, though each of us..." He gave a brief glance to Hvergelmer "Chooses how to try and do that differently. But this... this isn't right. No one should go to their wonder and be told we should just give up and fly off into the dark, and that's what's happening as a result." He chose his words carefully, because goddamn if there wasn't an urge to slap his forehead because to him of course it made sense, he'd been doing this a while. Not even as long as some but he thought he'd come to fair grips with the ins and outs of it, but that wasn't everyone, and in the micro-universe of Destiny City it was easy to imagine there were other people fighting the same battle elsewhere, but there were plenty who had had that terrible dream of an darker future that said this was, in fact, not the case. "Long story short, yeah... best we've learned they're both supposed to exist in balance. Balance went out the window about a thousand years back when Chaos jammed it's thumbs on the scale and hasn't taken it off since."

Not bothering to look toward the voice, she really didn't care who was talking, she decided to raise her own voice and speak up. "Perhaps because the code was originally not what it currently is? We are just undoing what was done." She snapped, ice lacing her words, as lavender eyes glanced about the room slowly. "If anyone took it's choice away, and made it unnatural, it would be the Negaverse - not us. We are fixing it so it can chose." Which made them better..and why the hell was she even bothering to try and explain things? Oh right...trying to help out and do more than tend to her own wonder and it's restoration. She really, right now especially, wished Hyperborea was around at least that was a familiar face and someone she appreciated and got along with.
"If we wait it can do more damage to the other pieces of it - the ones at our wonders. Or at least there is that chance." He did make a slight point with that, it might fight back now that it wasn't being attacked by chaos. It could recover but how to make sure it did? How to make sure it didn't attack their pieces of the code or somehow taint them and their wonders? It was a risk she didn't like the notion of at all, especially not when her main goal was restoring her wonder. The very idea was deemed unacceptable in moments of the thought popping into her mind.
Looking to the Mars knight she spared him a smile of sorts. "I don't know if a royal senshi can help, as you said their magic is vastly different from ours. But we all, each of us, has a good deal of power within us. Is there not some way to harness that together and try...if we cannot find Camelot?" She asked."I'd rather not sit on this long and find out that the chaos in the code can taint our pieces of it further or our wonders themselves the hard way. Though it may also do nothing but float here being a ball of negativity."

Chauvet, Page of Cosmos
Chauvet had no idea who the guy with a bull's head for a pauldron was, but whatever his name, he was clearly a badass. The woman watched him speak with rapt attention as he wove a story of order and chaos and...sen-she? And Knights that stood between the conflict, she supposed that was what he was, in all the glory of his tattered cape and glistening armor. There was tension in the way he looked at the princess made of actual stardust, but that was just even more interesting, and despite herself the edges of her mouth began to curl upwards in childlike glee.
"This is the coolest s**t I've ever seen," the Cosmos page whispered, softly nudging her elbow into the nervous man in blue beside her. She managed to keep her voice below an excited shout, if only because she didn't want to interrupt what was quickly becoming C-SPAN for Asgardians. "Are you seeing this? This is badass."

Celsus Knight of Chronos
"We can all just hold hands and sing Kumbaya together," said Celsus mildly, which earned him yet another elbow to the side from Emrys, his brother looking relatively mortified. But it had been a long time since Celsus had felt well enough to make any sort of lighthearted comments at all, and he knew that Emrys was just nervous and new to everything.
His eyes flickered to Slievenamon again, Celsus absently running fingers over his casted hand.
"I get what you're saying," he said with a slightly wan smile, but it was kind. Beside her, Hy-Brasil got a nod in greeting, though Celsus realized belatedly that, while he knew her powered side, she had not seen his when they had met. "We overflow the piece of the Code with energy instead, the Chaos dilutes and cascades out into Caedus' crystal, or something like that, right?"
He tried not to sound like a broken record, Celsus drawing a somewhat ragged breath.
"There's nothing wrong with asking for help," he said patiently, mostly to the Polaris knight. "But I strongly feel as though we should not be entirely dependent on the Royals, especially with a situation none of us are familiar with. The Code is not a human, therefore it's reasonable to assume that it can't be purified like a human can, as much as it would be lovely to be that simple."
Celsus gave a little shrug of his shoulders, smiling a little at her. "Though really, we're all trying to work together here, it does us little good to snap at each other," he said reasonably. "Aren't we all attempting to work towards a common goal? Figuring out what the bloody hell to do with this Code thing?"
He clapped his good hand on Paris' shoulder.
"I like the idea of trying to pool our energy to try and see what happens first, and then going to find Caedus for his crystals, unless someone has a better idea." Emrys Squire of Neptune
He'd watched most of the proceedings in silence, Emrys clutching his staff. A part of him wished he had Eurydike with him, if anything just to calm his heart. Celsus was much more at ease these days, but he still held a heavy sort of weariness and exhaustion about him that seemed to linger heavy in his bones, and Emrys knew the voices in his head and the constant throbbing had not yet abated.
Distracted as he was by the goings on, Emrys did not notice the redhead sidle up to him until he felt an elbow in his side that was not his brother. Jumping a little, he twisted to look and saw a young woman in a cascading uniform of white, unfamiliar, as they all were.
"Er," said Emrys, casting a slightly panicked look at Celsus, but he was talking, and so Emrys dragged his gaze back to the young woman.
"It's - it's new," he said, trying to sound normal. "Have you, er...been awake long, then? Is this how it always is?"

Slievenamon, Squire of Neptune
Slievenamon pursed her lips to conceal her desire to smile in her simple dastardly way. She actually like the idea put forth: Seeing what Chaos would do the Code piece. The power of the Negaverse worked in mysterious ways and considering how the piece was pulled from the very pits of darkness, how would it react, let alone last, at the burn of Order's light?
She hated how her brain worked, especially when she was, as Kairatos so aptly put it, part of the balance between Order and Chaos. Now was not the time to be tempting that balance even when, she tightened the arms tucked under her diaphragm a little tighter, she was so delighted to do so. To collect her bearings, she saw Hy-Brasil, and stood by her as if she would somehow straighten out her muddled mind. She gave her a small smile in greeting before speaking up again.
"Mhm, that's what I was getting at," Slieve said to Celsus. "If energy works like a liquid, then it could be that simple. Or more difficult, since someone mentioned that even they are not sure where Chaos returns to come a purification."

Chauvet Page of Cosmos
If there was significance to the way the other redhead said 'awakened', it fell on Chauvet's deaf ears. She turned to him with a lopsided shrug, shuffling the balance of her ball to one hand as she used the other to lazily curl a side-bang with her fingers.
"I mean, I've been up since about ten, but I never expected my night to get this crazy." She chuckled to herself, as if this might have just been a normal occurrence to be teleported off to some strange gala, but as she stared off into space a thought struck her, and she looked back to the squire with suddenly-serious eyes.
"So wait, do you know where we are? Because I have not a damn clue, I just figured we were all fever dream imagination figments or something." If she had taken the time to ponder her situation, Chauvet might have been more predisposed to panic, but her mind never took the time for anything, and she was already on a spree of questions that spilled from her lips like running water.
"So what's going on? We all just get magically dropped in to chat? What's the glowing thing that makes me want to puke when I look at it? Who's the gladiator and what's his beef with Lady Stardust?" She glanced at the general assembly, and then back to her chatting partner, where she leaned in with a gaze full of scrutiny.
"Wow," she breathed, "Your eyes are, like, really green, you know that? That's awesome." Being excited was nothing if she couldn't appreciate the little things, like how perfectly this man matched his uniform. It was almost magic. "What's your name?"kuropeco she's not flirting I promise she's just so excited

Celliwig, Page of Earth "He isn't. Still there, that is. Caedus. He's not." The page had been silent up until that point and now she was lightly tugging on the sleeves of her dress, brows furrowed over violet eyes and a frown on her lips. "He's still in Destiny City somewhere, but he's not where you all met that night. Some of us stayed behind," because some of them, herself included, had been late to the party, "and a senshi attacked him. He had to hide. He's still somewhere, but it might be harder to find him now. I had offered to take him to Celliwig, because it was still on Earth but he said that he would 'only find what he needed if he was in Destiny City."everyone who might be around

Hy-Brasil, Page of EarthThe nod from the Knight caused Hy’s brows to furrow slightly. Who is he? She questioned quietly to herself. For a quick moment she glanced around herself to make sure there hadn’t been someone else behind her that the man was nodding to, but she was the only one. Interesting. Maybe he mistook me for someone else? That was always a possibility. Then Sliev moved to her side, and Hy offered the girl a friendly smile. It was nice having a familiar face beside her. Seems everyone has their own ideas on how to deal with this issue of the code which, I assume, has somehow been corrupted. Well assuming was a bad description. It was obvious that the piece that was in the room with them was tainted with chaos with the signature it gave off. All the suggestions being put forth seemed like decent ones and everyone seemed determined to save the code piece. Biting her lip, Hy debated on voicing a concern that popped into her mind. Was anyone else wondering it too? She was so new to all of this she really wasn’t sure if what she was about to say was preposterous or not, but she felt the need to voice it. ”What happens if none of these ideas work? Could we destroy the piece of code? Would that cause problems?”

Slievenamon, Squire of Neptune
Slievenamon's brow furrowed. Well that... was disappointing news. Not simply because they were possibly on a search-and-rescue for the cloaked figure, but someone had attacked him. The squire knew his plans did not sway in favor of many who were called to the meeting, but now that his life was in danger, he had every right to go into hiding.
Looking to the page of Earth, Slieve said, "Do you... know the name of the senshi who attacked him? And anyone else who vouched for his harm? We may need to keep an eye out for them. They may also be searching with the intent to harm again." She glanced around. "We... we shouldn't let anything happen to him, not until one of the avenues for purifying the Code is explored, at least."
Slievenamon quieted come Hy-Brasil's inquiry. While she knew the Code was important, she didn't know why. But when it called to her and several others from the Academy when they were in Negaspace, the squire knew one thing: It needed them and they needed it.
