 She missed the first one that came bouncing by- but that was ok there were others.....and Nastara could be patient if it ment she could hug one of these cute little beings.....so she stood still and patient and breathed deeply finding her core like she did when she was practicing her fading.....and waited.......and then opened her arms and.....

"Woof!" Drossel landed on his face as he missed a diving catch, and the slime cheerfully bounced off down the corridor and out of sight. He shook his head and picked himself up, when he suddenly realized his hat was missing. Looking around frantically, he saw another slime oozing off with his hat in it's mouth. "Ack!" he shouted as he gave chase. "Sit, slime!"

Malachi watched as Hailey left him just as soon as she had her little creature in hand. He smirked and shook his head, taking another shot at the little critter he was after again. "Drat!" he yelped as he missed his catch again!Dodger was all sorts of excited when he found out what what going on at the Academy. He grabbed up Kismet and off they went. Of course, his overly excitedness got the better of him as he completely failed first try. "Try, try again!Kismet was curious to say the least about what was going on. When she saw all the slimes, there was a mix of excitement and a slight disgust over the little slimy creatures. she gave a not all there attempt to get one, and failed, but she was okay with this to start...

 Turnip started his slime hunt, attempting to catch one using herbs, but apparently they didn't like mint. Maybe they would like cat n** instead??  Arch sat down and held his hand out for the little slimes to decide to come to him. He smiled gently, choosing not to chase them. He smiled brightly as a little rainbow colored slime jumped into his arms. Arch cuddled the little fellow and said "Hi I'm Arch, I think I'll call you Skimmer, want to come back to the dorm with me??"   Micari frowned trying to figure out how to start maybe cupcakes?? Chocolate?? There had to be some way she could draw a slime to her, they were adorable and she wanted one badly.

Ok she'd tried patient, calculating, using her geist abilities and still no luck so she let the wild abandon take her that seemed to be claiming others and just ran around screaming like the little freshling she was, deciding to have fun in the pandamonium and knowing when the time was right a slimey cuddly would come to her!

Drossel tried another flying leap and managed to grab the other end of his hat. "Give it back!" he shouted, and with a hard tug, he pulled it free, only to have the slime go sailing over his head and out of sight with a loud 'Eeeeeeeee!' Letting out a long breath, Drossel put his slightly-chewed hat back on his head and looked around at the abundance of slimes oozing and bouncing about. He watched as one started bouncing his way, drippy mouth aiming for the same spot on his pants the previous one had tried to nom a hole through. "No you don't!" he said cheerfully, and he swooped down with his clawed hands outstretched.

Malachi took another dive at a different slime this time, but he went right past it and dove face first into the ground. His face was most unamused as he looked up, grass in his mouth with a hint of goo. Nasty.Dodger rubbed his big, fuzzy paws together as he got ready to try and tackle the slime he spied once again. It was so stinking cute and reminded of someone, but couldn't quite pin it on who. Attempt two down the drain, but okay! "You and me, little slime!"Kismet couldn't help watch her dad go after the slime with gusto. Scratching her cheek, she pondered if she should give it a bit more of a try. Deciding that she needed to, she did put a little more effort into her next try. Didn't happen, but not!

 Azriel was oblivious to the current madness that was happening at the school, he hummed to him self happily eating a candy, when all of a sudden BAM! all Azriel became freak out as a gooy substance was now dripping from his head. A slime had hoped up on to his head and began to run off, he looked at it a bit shaken but quickly began to run after the cute crazy creature.
he wasn't sure what to do but the pink creature he had seen intrigued him. He pounced and grasped for the creature but it kept slipping from his grasp. He then began to build a box trap hopping he could lure it in with some candy or sweets, as he placed some of his favorites in to the trap and hid behind a wall waiting with a rope in his hand to snap the trap closed. hopefully the slime creature would fall for that he thought.
Success! he nabbed the cute slime that had slimmed him previously as he quickly snatched it up and began to snuggle it happily " i got a new friend!" he exclaimed happily. as he took the cute pet home with him.

Running around the in the din like a half crazed freshling wildabeast she took no notice of her clothes, her lack of footwear, or the fact the someone could see serious little Nastara having fun, she just went for it ducking and dodging among the lovely new familiars and beings of the Academy. It was Epic! She tripped and sat down hard laughing with delight still hoping to catch one for herself.

 Alyssum looked around at all the chaos. Slimes of all shapes, sizes, and colors were running around the halls, combined with Nightmares and Daydreams of all shapes, sizes, and colors. She doubted she'd ever be able to accurately describe all this no matter how many words she learned in her lifetime. She hesitated in her dorm doorway, wondering if she should try to help or slip back into the room and barricade the door. She was going to have to make up her mind soon; if she stood here for very long, chances are a slime or student (or some random adult, where had they all come from?) would end up tumbling into her room.

Drossel chuckled as the little critter bounced right into his arms, not even seeming to mind staying there and oozing at him contentedly. Granted, it wasn't as colorful as some of the others running around, but the color did remind him of his favorite brand of hot sauce. He brought the critter close and carefully booped it on where he estimated the nose would be. "Goblin trousers are NOT for eating."

Malachi was just having a time trying to do this slime hunting thing. He usually could charm creatures pretty well -- magical creatures class aside that one time -- but these slimes were really starting to make him think otherwise with another miss!Dodger looked at the little slime eye to eye, pointing two claws at his own then back at it with a grin. This time, he totally went right for it and snitched that little critter right up! "VICTORY!" and with that, he turned to watch his daughter as he held onto the purple little slime. Kismet saw that her dad was watching her and took a deep breath. This time she put everything into going after the slime that she had been chasing. With a grin, and a slight look of disgust was the slime got in her fur, she stood up and held it out as she beamed her dad's way!

 Florence wasn't so much running as he was skipping. This was all like the most delightful game of tag, with the cute yet very hard to catch slimes being the runners and everyone else being it. It seemed like the whole school was out in full force, though there were also tons of adults running around, each trying to catch a slime. Their attempts made Florence giggle all the more. He himself was trailing a particularly pretty one. It seemed to know Florence was after it, and took delight in pausing just long enough to make the freshling think he'd finally caught it before slipping from his grasp.

Gwen grabbed the little slime and offered it back to Liath, "It's adorable congratulation" She said warmly to him and waited for him to take the little slime from her, so she could try to grab another slime.. Still holding the little slime Liath had her grab, she wasn't able to catch another slime yet.
