Bob:glares at Tri but parked and leans back closing her eyes as he called. Managing to drag out 1 more of the payment he owed her. At this rate she will own him::

Anadii > //wakes up to the call, but answers it as he sits up// Hello Administrator Tri

Tri:smoothes his feathers as they were slowly lifting as he waited:: Anadii, We're outside in the green car. Everything okay?

Anadii > Yes, I am fine. //makes his way out the front door, since there aren't any security cameras here;;// ......Will I be coming with you, then?

Tri: Part way. There is still the problem of Teldhet and...Ree's ideas was not a bad one. I called earlier in the day to confirm if it would be okay. They will now be expecting you, it should also be safer to stay with them until we are ready to return.

Anadii > //sighs softly - actually sighs, but nods and then climbs into the car// Very well... What is happening that is so important but cannot be thoroughly thought out before actions are taken?

Tri:blinks and lets out a very soft and short laugh as he closed the door and got back into the front seat::

Tri: The changes seem to be working ::he observed as he thought over how best to answer that question. It was the first question ask that had nothing to do with commands or request he had given..as far as he was aware::

Tri: Do you remember the three people I asked you to investigate? We are going to look deeper.

Tri: Ree finding Ashral so soon // so easily...// was not expected. There should have been a low chance of him actually finding her at all

Anadii > I see. I have not continued to look for the remaining information you requested. We are too close to Haven for it to be wise. She did not seem very stable, physically, but I suppose she was still dangerous.


Tri: nodded:: Good. I rather Haven not know you are close by...also once you jump to Kai I ask that you not endanger him either. So to limit any attempts to Haven or Teldhet's systems until we can come back and get you, as you did just now. It would be safer for both of you that way, with us we can move if we are compromised..Kai can't ::he frowned faintly, looking back at Anadii::

Bob: Welcome back Kid :she muttered and opened her eyes blurrily as she switched gears and headed toward the hotel they were originally going to stop at. Tomorrow Tri gets to drive the rest of the way or she will de-feather him in his sleep::

Tri: Thank you. ::he said glancing to Bob for a moment then back::... Outside of feeling angry are there any other things you noted from the changes done? Because looking at your own files might bring up more emotions...

Bob:smirks, not sure what else she expected. He reminded her of someone only they were very different::

Anadii > the voice that I have mentioned is more persistent and loud. That is all

Tri:frowns faintly but then finally nods, because it made sense in an odd way. He wasn't still sure what to classify the voice Anadii heard but it did seem to be more....emotional?:: What has it been saying?

Anadii > it has been primarily precautionary... Though I have noticed that it is also reactionary to certain things such as mentions of Haven or Teldhet. It does not like them.

Tri: They are not very likable. ::he agreed, there might have been a time where he might have gone to Haven thinking that it was only a few that were bad but now is only realizing that the rumors were not exaggerating:: In it's reactionary and precautionary warnings has it been asking you to do things?

Anadii > not necessarily. It stated that I should prepare to leave administrator Ree without warning should I need to, but it has not specified action yet, simply vague desires.

Tri:nodded:: Warn me or Kai if those desires start to be more specific. You are starting to feel emotions... and that did not go well for Hexxis ::sighs:: Your jump... do you think you rested long enough to try one more tonight or rather tomorrow?
Anadii > very well. //Nods// Yes, I have completed a full rest cycle of 8 hours, I have full access to my powers now

[]Tri: do you want to stay and eat with us or go directly to Kai? ...He is safe. He is basically something like an uncle to us and has agreed to watch you.

Anadii >..... I would prefer a guarantee that in will not be going into another hostile situation alone again. If that is possible, then I will go.

Tri:sighs softly:: One thing that is different from an orderly code is that there are no guarantees. There is a possibility his house is being watched for us but not you. As long as you keep yourself off police radar it should be as safe as it can be for the moment. There is a small possibility Teldhet might be watching trying to find us to get to you but it should be fine if you don't leave

Anadii > Teldhet has no operatives in Hanale at all, they are not a threat there. I would like to know more about Kai (name) and if he is more trustworthy than Administrator Ree. If that is the case then I suppose it will have to do.

Tri:..... ::there was a flicker of pain on his face as he listened but he didn't argue:: He is a former Belrad counsel member, retired many years ago due to his health. He is trustworthy in regard to this.

Anadii > ...Very well, I will go there, then. Should it prove to be unsafe I will find other arrangements, you will not need to concern yourself over it.

Tri: I rather you tell me if it is unsafe. Unless you want to part ways...

Anadii > I will notify you at the very least, however since you are embarking on a dangerous mission it would be in your best interested to allow me to handle finding a new place to stay. I am unable to part ways at this time.

Bob:laughs:: Wow.. you're still a mother hen. Listen to him. Sit down nod and let him handle himself if things go bad. I assume you taught him how to at least use money

Tri: Which is why you have to be careful, not only of Teldhet or Haven but other people as well. Anadii > It is better to be prepared than to suffer the consequences of naivety. I will notify you should "anger" resurface. Admittedly, I am not completely calm as I was before. I am still... upset, about the negligence. I am aware of what Haven and Teldhet would do to me. I have no intention of ever allowing such control to be exerted over my programming again.

Tri:.... Then you need to learn quick. You will need to ask more question of people who are interested in your well being. You ...remind me of my daughter which is why I am so concern. Anadii > ...Very well. I will compile a list for you. I have had many questions, but have not found ways to ask them. Previously it was policy that if the question did not pertain to my current task, it was not allowed. Since I am now my own administrator I suppose that I am allowed to make my own rules.

Tri: I see... ::he frowned but it made sense:: Send them to my phone and i'll try to answer and return them when I have the free time.

Anadii > I will do that, then. //blinks, then nods// Yes, my sensors indicate that my housing unit requires more than granola bars.

Tri:blinked as that pulled a genuine laugh out of him:: Does your sensors indicate what exactly it might need? ::for a moment there was a faint smile as he expected Anadii to give him exactly what he wanted to eat::

Anadii > //blinks// I have sufficient fiber intake due to the granola bars but I am in need of more protein, and a wider variety of beneficial sugars and fats.

Tri:..... ::the smile stayed the same as he nodded: I will see what I can do, I think Bob got the keys why don't you wait with her? : surprised pening both doors and stretching wings outside::
Anadii > Very well. //opens his door, then scoots out to find Bob//......

Bob:looks over at them and raises a brow when Tri motioned to Anadii before takes off walking, pulling his two featherless wings in close:: ... right ::looks at Anadii:: where is he going?

Anadii > I do not know where he is going. //frowns// ...I can only assume based off of our conversation, he is going to acquire food.

Bob: ........ hah. okay then. Let go wait. ::she opened the door for Anadii and went to bring out the dog and walk her around outside until Tri returned with three bags of Mcdonald, nodding to Bob who snorted and kept walking as she threw a key card at him and continued walking.

Anadii > //nods and follows Bob into the room, then fits a spot to sit down... upon Tri's arrival he perks a bit, eyeing the bags with mild curiosity//
Tri:looked at Anadii and nodded in greeting as he put the three bags on the table and checked through each one before picking one up and moving to Anadii:: .... Not the best of foods but I think you might like it. Protein, sugars and fats :there was a very faint smile of his face as he turned to the other two bags::
::inside was a hamburger, some chicken nuggets, fries and an apple pie::

[]Anadii > //nods, then takes the bag and peers inside// Thank you. I am sure this will do adequately. //starts in on the burger first... its not really... something he likes, according to taste, but he eats it anyway//

Tri:eats the fries first and glances every now and then at him curiously. Hexxis barely showed any emotion when they first meet but Mara told him she saw her drinking hot chocolate like he ordered for her. Could also be coincidence but it mad him mildly curious:

Anadii > //Finishes the burger, almost looking a little... grossed out? Just barely - then starts on the fries... much better;;// ...Is something the matter?
Tri: Just curious.... did you like any of that?

Anadii > ......I do not like the sandwich... the fries are nice so far. //nods//

Tri:nods faintly:: Good to know. plus you seem to be keeping your memory of it.. and the taste?

Anadii > I have not finished eating, it is only when I have finished the task that the memory is erased. //blinks//

Tri: ..... true. I guess I went ahead of myself. ::he ate his fries as well and grabbed the remote and turned on the TV to at least do something else other than stare at him and wonder:: So each time you ate is like the first time you've ever tasted food...

Anadii > Yes, I suppose that is true. //nods, finishing off the fries... then moves on to the pie// My sense of taste is stronger than my sense of touch.

Tri: nodded quietly:: If it works you can now start classifying what you like to eat and what you don't..as well as what makes you sick ::not remembering seeing any problem in his file, but he was likely given some mix that met all his nutritional needs::

[]Anadii > //nods// Yes, I think I will begin compiling that data. //finishes the pie, then waits....// It appears your change to my programming is successful. I remember eating.

Tri:looking away from the TV he nodded faintly, a hint of relief:: Good ::he glanced as Bob came in with the dog silently grabbed her bag and went to her bed to eat it while giving them both an eerie dark look;:
Bob:" this isn't brains ::gives Tri an accusing look::

Tri:sighs:: .. ::looks at Anadii:: are you ready to jump?

Tri:nods;; I'll text him. Good luck. I will call you when we're done and you can meet us back here in morrad

Anadii > //nods// Alright. I will see you when you return, then. //disappears into the nearest electronic device, then makes his way to Kai's home//

Kae:: -calls him because why the hell not?-

Bob:answers::

Tri:takes the phone and the pack from her with a look as she picked up the bag of food with amusement::...Mar-........................ ::blinks and frowns, the voice was faintly familiar:: Who is this

Kae:: awww don't remember your own girlfriend -stifled laughter-

Tri:blinks confused and checks to make sure it was his phone while casting Bob a dark look:: I never had a girlfriend. Who are you

Kae:: -laughs- ...technically.. Hmm... Your other mother...

Bob: Awww Tri, you definitely have the looks to catch quite a handful

Tri:kicks at her seat and frowns:: Selvin? ..... ::wings bristled then smoothed in confusion:: You're not her. Answer me or I'm hanging up.

Kae:: wow,... I'm actually hurt... Very deeply... -sounds sarcastic,then sighs- Fiiiine... It's Kae. You know, you really take all the fun out of prank calling....

Tri:......::frowns:: Kae....glad to hear your alive ::now this made more sense:: considering you're prank calling for dates I can assume you're not in need or rescue :: dryly::

Tri:frowns, not really knowing Mara's relationship with Kae to well but what he saw while Kae was with that was that Mara considered her a friend at least and those were few and far in between considering Mara's temperament.:: I am sure she won't mind letting you sit on the side lines as long as she can talk to you now and then...... I am assuming she gave you my number to ask for something?

Bob:groans:: you're wanted and you're taking jobs for the people hunting you. That really isn't very smart Tri

Kae:: Yeah.. I had a reason for calling... -leans back from a notepad scribbled with equations and taps a pen against the desk- ..hmm... What was it...

Tri:waits patiently::

Kae:: hmm... Ah.. Hexxis... Tell me.. -pauses, writing something down- Tell me about what problems she was having before she... Forgot?...

Tri:takes a sharp breath of air and turns away from Bob and walks a few feet::.... Mara asked you for help?

Kae:: hmm.. I offered it.

Tri:.......Thank you. ::sighs softly:: when we meet she told me that she felt something wrong. Made me promise that I couldn't ask her questions about it because she didn't know what would activate it. She had a guess though and gave it to me hidden within a story. ::there was a pause:: we also had a file on her explaining what we know happened but it took us a while to break open. Both those things were found after it happened though. Very strong emotions activate a break down protocol which causes her to erase her memories and fall back to base programing. A system wide reboot so to say. A third stage will cause her to suicide.

Kae:: -is silent for a bit- ...I guess Haven wants a compliant unfeeling weapon... Makes sense, emotions get in the way of judgement... Say if Haven so wanted to have her kill someone, it would be too much hassle for her to have any kind of emotion for them.. -sighs- So I guess she does have emotions after all, just suppressed like her memories... wonder how many times this has happened before.... everything she's forgotten.. -she goes silent again then clears her throat- That considered... it gives me some hope about her retrieving memories and the like... hmm... Well, that brings the notion, is it possible to break that programming without... well, breaking her. While I can almost say with 100% confidence her condition is purely mental... that also means we wouldn't know how fragile her real mind is and if it can even handle fully breaking from it... I mean,... in a humane way, of course... -sighs and leans back in her chair-

Tri:sighs softly:: it seems that they only perfected the process prior to her being sent to Mara. But considering what she went through and who had her since she was born.... Maybe having all her memories back wouldn't be a good thing if it was even possible. Her nightmares are very hard on her .....I don't even know. What would be a humane way to work with her ..at all

Kae:: Haha, not remembering anything, good or bad.. is no way to live. She may remember all those horrible things, but then she could learn to deal with her past and eventually get rid of the nightmares entirely. Besides, what of all her experiences with you... before SIU, she was a combat weapon... before all that parley crap, she was actually child.. someone who felt and loved, even if she never showed it on the outside, and you cannot deny that she didn't develop emotions and quite a lot of them during her time with you... -sigh- Anyway, as far as a humane way to get her memories back, I'm trying to work on something... I don't know if it'll work.. Like I told Mara, don't exactly have a plethora of amnesiatic test subjects...

Tri: or she breaks and hides in her mind never getting past what was done to her. What her mind tried to hid...that it was forced to hide and a lot not even for her benefits. I can not say she hasn't developed, but 2 months can't easily erase 7 years of pain. You who only recently experience torture at their hands...you won't forget will you? That would be all she knows. I don't even know that regaining her past personality would be beneficial for her.... And not just try helping her develop a new one...., but one that would be harder to be broken with what she endured and doesn't remember.

Kae:: Well, aren't you just so noble.. Is that really what she would have wanted? Or did you just come to that conclusion yourself. It may be true that I will likely be haunted by what Haven did to me for the rest of my life, but honestly, I'd rather be able to face those fears then never knowing why I'm so afraid to be in a room without windows, why I'm so afraid of going anywhere alone, why the mention of my ex-husbands name strikes some sort of fear into my heart. Not knowing what scares you makes it worse. Once you can identify what causes that fear, you can learn to control that fear. Overcome it. That's basic psychology, Tri. So now that you've been somewhat educated about how the mind works, you would still rather see your own daughter roboticized.. or worse, never remember you? Who is that hurting Tri? Because that sound pretty damn selfish if you ask me.

Tri:frowns:: selfish? You are the one asking for amnesiatic test subject. Mara might have asked you in hopes you have something but I want Hexxis not to be the sorrow of someone else's life if what you do changes their life badly. Not everyone is like you either, not every one wants to remember what scares them or even know the reason. They just avoid it.

It seems you are placing yourself into Hexxis position and acting as you would, especially now after what has happened. Hexxis is not you, forcing her to remember everything can be a lot more damaging to someone who was barely starting to form a personality. This isn't what she would have wanted, this is what would be safest for her. Right now find a way to prevent breakdown from happening again is what should be crucial. Or at least finding a way to isolate her from haven's influence.

If there is a way to bring her back to how she was before breakdown but have those previous memories still forgotten..I would take that. But as someone recently reminded me...Hexxis is not a computer. A computer would have been so much easier.

Kae:: Firstly, don't compare her to me if you don't want me to do the same. That's only fairly, honestly. That aside, I understand what you're getting at. You don't want her to suffer or hurt, I get that. But not everything is perfect. I may have the best understanding of how Meta's work than any other person in the entirety of Tretera, but not everything I make is fool-proof. I am not a god, I'm just a scientist with a ******** up sense of apathy about the lives of others... which I may say more on that later, but now really isn't the time for me to be bringing up how horrible of a person I am. Anyway, I'll do what I can, but I cannot guarantee it will work as intended. -sighs- I'm going to try... and I will keep your requests in mind while working on it. I also want what's best for her too... Tri:if he could he would have tried to gently move her out of helping Hexxis. He could see why Mara got along with her, all the reasons he tried to pull her away from.:: I might have a lead and am following it now. ::replying to the last instead of what he really wanted to say::

Kae:: ..sounds like fun.. I had some old formulas when I was trying to get Alice to remember only select things about her past. They didn't work that well.. ended up giving up and just shoving her at Syth despite my disg-...er... my want for her to not really remember her... -sighs- At least it's a starting place, I can work off that to try to get her to just remember her life after being transferred again...

Tri:focusing on that when everything else Kae said sounded more in the realm of magic and hopefulness than reality::

Kae:: -takes a deep breath- ...let's just say I'm a horrible mother and that there was a fault in her code . To be honest, it was an odd phenomenon that occurred with how she was already made to forget things from her real past. It wouldn't have been an issue if some s**t-for-brains ex-father hadn't come and made things weird. Caused the whole conditioning to go s**t and she forgot everything. Which somehow was also linked to her growth as she had completely stopped growing until she remembered again. -sighs with heavy exasperation- So, I honestly have quite the head start on this... just adjusting calculations at this point to get it right...

Tri:......... So you did something similar to Alice as Haven did to Hexxis. ::getting a sudden longing for the digital place Anadii had took them through, only to never come out::

Kae:: Okay, now before you compare me to Haven, I didn't ******** torture her... so don't even start with that. I made her forget with strong magic and fairly humane conditioning as a very young child. I never hurt her.

Tri:....you called me selfish. That is still inhumane
Tri: never mind. ::shakes his head::

Kae:: I never said I wasn't selfish. At least I will own my title. -says with a bit of harshness-

Tri: ..... You can't seperate yourself from Hexxis..is this the real reason you want to help her? Find something to remember what was done to you?
Tri:calmly::

Kae:: Can't I just feel guilty about what happened to her and want to help her without the third degree on why I want to do it...

Tri:tempted to say that she just said she was apathetic abut the lives of others and experimented on a young child..only to be angry with who messed up her experiment:: With what you said it is suspicious but I am not here to test your own moral character since you are aware//and don't care//. My only concern is three//four?// people. Mara, Ree, and Hexxis //Anadii?//. It is good to hear that you are better and safe. I need to go


Kae:: -is silent for a bit- ....Alright,... let me know if you find anything you want to share... I'll be here seeing what I can come up with... Just so you know, I'm that heartless that I wouldn't at least let you know if I come up with anything substantial and before I would try to implement it... -pauses then sigh- Well, I'll talk to you later then.. Bob:looks at him intently:: you never were really good at this you know.

Tri:I know....I know. ::shakes his head and just goes toward the car::

Kae:: -hangs up and takes a deep breath before picking up a scalpel and coming to a calm stand-

A quick vibrate of his phone distracted him as he checked the message as it rang and blinked looking at two defiant looking kids with the text "Kae's new kids????". He frowned zooming them in Kae wouldn't have an arc- ......s**t!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There was nothing of the boy that would give away anything other than than the black wings, but that was an oddity more than anything else. The ornament on the girl, similar to his and Tri was something completely different. He move to type when he realize it wasn't ringing any more

"Trisuri?" Ree said quietly hearing the sharp intake of breath as the person on the other side shifted from where they were sitting. Darn it Ash why did she have to send that now.

"You finally respond" there was a hint of reproach as he answered, his voice low as he waited for Ree to try and explain himself.

Ree shook his head as he thought for a moment of forwarding the picture to Tri and thought better of it. "Were you going to say something that was not going to insult my intelligence, my character , personality or anything else? I pretty much heard it all so why would I want to hear it from you?" he snapped, not wanting to deal with this right now.

" You also only called once after finding out from Anadii about Ashral but nothing when Mara was attacked yesterday. Were you even going to tell me or even warn me of Mara at all?" he said calmly, lowering his voice.

".... do you want a real response to that?" Tri said gripping the phone a little tighter as he stared at the house in frustration. "You sent Anadii across all of Teterra when he told you his max. I had to rush out to meet him and pick him up half because you didn't give me warning you found you Malice and couldn't calculate his max compared to the rest of teterra" Tri said calmly but it was strained.

"......." Ree grimaced because he had not known that. Even if he was older there were still things..simple things he was learning... the difference between a seven year old and those older, being an adult did not change that fact.

"Would have talking to me have changed that? Could I have done something to help" he said quietly, guilty if it did and he hadn't answered.

"....... " Tri narrowed his eyes, wings bristling wanting to shout at him but keeping enough control, barely. "Why did you call?"

Ree hesitated but moved to the main point of this phone call."We rescued Hexxis. Kage is dead...or very close to it. " he paused, frowning as he continued. "We need you to come here and pick her up and take her with you for her saf- ...No. For your safety. So you will stop running trying to die" he said harshly, anger flaring up.

"Look, you stay the ******** away from Hexxis. If I so much as hear you utter a command at her or something that ******** with her head, I will end your pathetic existence, you chicken fried ******** style="color: darkblue">
"We? who is this we" his voice matched Ree's as he pushed himself up and stared unseeing as he felt his heart racing. She was safe? but how? how? where?!.

"....EE's Zaku, Lucian and Cordelia deigned to help me. Of SIU Syth was the only one with the age, experience and willingness to help. Then Yoko of the murderers crash in following Zaku....and is also Syth's daugher. They helped get her back" he said looking toward the door, wondering what was happening outside, shoot.

"..............Ree" that one word conveyed his utter disappointment and betrayal at what was just said. "You joined the Renegades" he said simple and leaned back closing his eyes as the worry changed to pain.

"I didn't join them. I asked if they wanted to help. "he emphasized each part as he turned to glare at Hexxis as if it was somehow her fault. "Just for this mission. Because it took all 6 of use to bring down Kage and he wasn't even in a suit! You couldn't have beat him, much less anyone else in SIU.since outside of Syth we seem to be only filled with children. When were you going to tell me I had siblings? is that why Kae is such great friends with Mara? or maybe saving material for the next time you went psycho?' the cold was breaking as he keep his voice low but it was still heavily charged.


".... Are you trying to get me to trust you? or are you too blind to see that everything you say is just making it worse?" Tri said quietly and ran his hand through his hair, having no clue what Ree was talking about now.

"....You and you freaking paranoia. Mara's too. Come and get Hexxis or leave her here. I am sure her real father wouldn't mind keeping her, until he figures out what a brat she is. Or hey maybe Estrian...my -other- father you mention when trying to kill us, if he survives the bullet and sword stab might take her if only to spite you. So if you're coming (address) in Hinale " he said hanging up.

"What?! Wait!" he cried out but was to late as he stared down at the phone. Hexxis, Estrian, and Ree with the Renegades. The only one missing was Mara, darn it Ree!. He dialed back but got no answer. "....." why was all of this going down hill so fast? Ree should have been in one of their hide outs hiding out.. Hexxis should have been with them. Not ...this. He needed to talk to Bob, he was going in there now with or without her.

Tri closed his eyes, he knew that street hm. '/((address)). It should be abandoned. Go into the second bedroom and rip up one if the closet boards. There should be a pack with some supplies. Why is she wearing two collars? And where is Ree and Estrian?/'

If you can find a metal enclosed area or are able to wrap the collars with sometime of metal ...that is a very low tech way to interfere with some of the tracking system/' he typed out sighing in real life. Week and a half after Setting the Stage

Tri stared quietly out the slightly open tent flap as people woke up and headed out into the morning rays of sun. His eyes were fix on a point in the air just past one of the movable cabins as he waved before falling asleep and staying awake. There were only so many things that he could think about before it started repeating or just blanking out from exhaustion. New information would either be a request in text form to Hexxis or as Mara said...actually call her, something he had been putting off for a while now. Sighing he unlocked his phone and went with it, calling back the last text he had and waited. It might be to early but he doubted she slept much

Hexxis was watching television, flipping through channels with a bored and solemn look, curled up in blankets. She had Barely noticed the hints of light beginning to break through the seams in the curtain when her phone began to vibrate on the nightstand. Blinking, she shifted herself to a sitting position and pulled the phone to her face and recognized the number immediately. Sliding it to answer, she rested the phone against her ear. "..is something wrong?" she asked immediately but in a very calm, monotone voice while she rubbed her eye with one hand from the hours of staring blankly at a screen.

Tri closed his eyes and shook his head as he heard her voice, not that she could see it at all."No, nothing wrong. I was advised to call you and see how you were voice to voice. How are things?"

Hexxis relaxed as Tri assured nothing was wrong, a relief in itself. However, that feeling of worry was only replaced with pain as she searched for the words to speak, to answer his question. She opened her mouth to say she was okay but paused before the sound could make it out of her throat. That wouldn't do. She needed to answer something different. If he had just wanted to hear the same thing as her text messages, he would not have called. "I am staying in a hotel room in the heart of the city. My emotions are sporadic but managable. I have consistent income, not being a mercenary. I am still alone." she answered softly, her gaze focused to the ground. "I pose the same question to you as well.."

There was a pause as he listened to her answer, trying to hear any slight changes of intonation to guess at her mood. "I am currently north of Criel near the coastline and the scar working off my debt. That has been taking up all my attention lately as it does not allow to much or anything else. " there was another paused before he continued as he caught hold of two keywords that sent a faint warning through him. "Consistent income, what are you currently working as? Also....you have no leads on him by now?"


She kept her voice calm as she spoke, pushing down her emotions with a bit more ease as she only had to focus on her tone. Listening to him answer the question about the work he was doing, she would have nodded but knew he wouldn't see it. "I see." she answered flatly before Tri presented two more questions. She paused as well, attempting to find the best way to put it. Why was it so difficult to answer these two questions, she couldn't understand. "I make money by playing guitar and singing to crowds of people." she didn't know terminology for what it was she did, only knowing that it made her money and it didn't appear to be bad like being a mercenary. "As for him,...no. It has been a little more difficult in finding information for him while not trying to give myself away as an ex-mercenary. So while my search has not been aggressive, what I have looked for has not produced any results."

"A street performer? " he supplied, a curious look on his face as he did not know how to feel about that but considering what she could have been doing it was a whole lot better. "You must have a very good voice and playing ability to be able to afford a hotel room without dipping into your savings" he said calmly, trying to compliment her through what he could assume based on what she had said. He never knew she sang or played but knowing of her ability it would be something she would pick up quickly. "As for him....I see. The purpose was to find him and understand, if you are unable to find him you can always return if you like....if you promise not to continue being in contact. Or I can ask one of the mercenaries here for any information they might have " he could do it when he found something he knew might make then happy...timing the request right even if it was still far fetched.

"I suppose that would be what it's called.. logically." she answered then exhaled, laying back on the bed to stare at the ceiling. She closed her eyes, listening to his voice as he complimented what she had been doing. There was a slight smile of relief but only quickly faded as her own thoughts merely shoved it back down with negative feelings. His voice was so calm which she couldn't tell over the phone was because he trusted what she was doing, or if it was because he didn't have to worry about her being such a troublesome daughter. She remained silent, not exactly knowing what to say about it all. "The most logical place to look is with the mercenaries. He's well known with them. Outside of that, it's harder to locate him. I had considered attempting to hire him to give reason why I would be looking for him. Though, I've come into a predicament where my disguise, too, has become very well known." she sighed, "Maybe it is best if you could ask one of the mercenaries there for information. I'm not sure I will find the opportunity to do that myself." she finally answered and opened her eyes.

There was a flicker of pain as she continued on with attempting to find him, as if the other option had no merit in it at all. It was of course the option -he- wished for the most and should not have been surprised she did not consider it. Now he was left with the task of actually doing what he offered, even if he had offered it without much thought on the person he just offered to contact. A sick feeling ran through him as he realized what he needed to and who he was contacting and for what reason. Hate just flared up inside as he pulled the phone away, he wanted to kick something ..freeze it utterly break it apart and imagine it was the other merc. Things had smooth only slightly when he had been with Mara, but he wasn't able to stay long, even on day wasn't really enough.

He wanted to protect Hexxis not throw her to him as he did, the only way to protect her was to keep her away. "I will ask one of them. In the meantime...if you are unable to find him within the month do you wish to return?" He asked, his voice a continued calm hiding the turmoil inside.

It was quiet for a bit, she supposed neither of them knew what to say at the moment, being that it was a fairly awkward and tense conversation to begin with. He posed another question that only increased in difficulty of her ability to answer. This time, her voice was soft, the break of the flicker of pain faintly behind her tone as she spoke, "I will consider it. At this moment, I have come to the conclusion that I had a lot to think about, and keeping those things in mind, I would make my decision based on that, rather than my longing to continue a search for someone who cannot be found. It is only logical. Emotionally, I feel my heart wants to say yes, but it also feels pain for already being given that option before and its wishes disregarded. That is just the fact of my situation. In time, I will likely be able to push aside illogical feelings, but for now, I cannot say for certain."

"I see. Then continue to keep me posted. Call me every now and then so I can see you are okay " his voice had not change but he had pushed his head back to face the top of the tent but kept his eyes shut. Yes ...he deserved that...and it made sense, he threw her out to find herself. He wasn't going to call the merc, if she asks he will say something but he had the feeling she didn't care to hard about it either at the moment.

"I will do that." she answered bluntly. She waited in silence for a bit, not sure what to say. "Please stay safe."

"You too" he replied and hanged up, letting the phone drop to his lap as he sat there in silence as people moved on and about outside.

As the line disconnected, she closed the phone and sighed, tossing it to the side of her as she grabbed a pillow and shoved her face in it to scream.

You know someone or thing is laughing at you when against all odds you find what you have been searching nearly a year for... Not through chance or luck but have it blatantly dropped through one of the most obscure holes you can find in Terterra(also the one you were working in), isolated, closest to one of the cities most known for hating meta's and in the rain.

It is as if just because I stopped trying to find him he decided to find me, that or luck really is a power that can be used and he was bored.

Zaku, leader of the renegades falling into a hole then nearly dying in a tunnel collapse. Li forcing me to work with him as she tries to give him a chance to escape while trying not to do so obviously.

As much as I hate losing this chance to have him finally locked up I am currently not with Mara not even Bob and Li doesn't want the trouble and recognition taking him in would bring. Not even to save the lives of others...not that it would last long. Undine would take over his group ... More of a surpise she hasn't already....maybe that is the reason he is here but I still bet it is because of Hexxis ..maybe Ree but most likely Hexxis.

I don't want to work with him...not that I have much of a choice, but it should only be for a night.

It was a bad idea, there has been so many times I have regretted telling her to go find the piece of trash and at the same time I don't want to call...and neither does she. It was always my hope she would return and we could regain something from before she ran away but that was entirely unlikely now. She finally called...after a day missing only to tell me she was in the hospital. That was all, correcting a badly sent message but she didn't want my help..she didn't want to tell me where she was........ I let her believe I let it go and quickly turned around and asked someone else for help in finding her.

I am just accruing debt with everyone..calling in favors and asking for them.

I just want her and Ree to return...we can go back to Akash and Stormy and for once since Parley at least be stable if for a while.

I am heading to Belosh in a bit...I have to take Zaku because Li doesn't want him to be found here.

Zaku...the muse is still as odd as I remember and lady luck does seem to be shining on him..or at least the luck of the trees he talks to.

Nearly every night he finds something interesting near the surface and every night Li and I wonder why he hasn't taken any of the multiple opportunities to run. As if he would rather be here digging with tools and hand , talking with the trees than be where the other Renegades are. It doesn't matter though, I will lose him when I reach Belosh... before I go to Hexxis.
