gameplay: 1. what do you mean fliers can't go over these that makes no sense. 2. very clearly designed to be done a specific way from start to finish.

One thing I did like about a lot of the maps in Conquest, particularly towards the end is that there are multiple ways to go about them.
Like with 22, I actually put everyone on just one side of the map and worked my way around to the other side instead of splitting the party in two to progress with the dragon veins.
Same with 17 back in Mokushu. I eventually opted not to use ANY dragon veins in that one either.

Meanwhile I did split my party in 22, and I used two or three dragonveins. I know I didn't use them all. I had to think about if I really wanted the enemies to rush my party or if I wanted to take a more controlled approach with less ability to retaliate.
So yeah, multiple ways. Sweet deals. Good chapter. Enjoy 23, son.

23: No real trouble here, but fun chapter
Takumi: fadfhdafncdhdhh.... Corrin: u ok, bruh? Takumi: *oozes demon juice or something*
24: Honestly, ******** this chapter, right now. I'll get back to you.

Chapter 19 can go jump off a cliff, I do NOT like this at all! DX
*goes to retry the chapter for the third time*
This is the first chapter that has made me seriously consider changing to Phoenix mode, UGH.

clump your units together to prevent Pass.
Buy the Beast Killer.

And use Keaton, since he's basically a beast killer unit. Just be cautious of the units that are effective against beasts. Mark their range.

Welp, take three was going great . . . until three units changed into illusions at the wrong moment, and there went Laslow and Azura. XD;; But I only had three enemies left on the map, plus I'm playing Casual as is, so I'm just going to quit while I'm ahead and move on to the next chapter. =P Thank y'all for the suggestions though!

Another thing that helped me, for future reference for anybody needing suggestions for that chapter: If you have a Hunter's Bow, give it to Niles (or whoever else you have that can use a bow)

chapter 24 - <******** kinshi knights, they are literally satan's diarrhea.
Also bullshit misses that cost me the level. I hate this chapter.

I actually loved Ch 24, and found it intense but enjoyable. It reminds me of 21 in a lot of ways in how it forces you to progress at a certain pace in order to be successful.
NOT sure how I feel about the Hexing Rod which Azama is carrying, though, which DID hit one of my units when I did 24 and a chapter after 24... and chapter 12 too, now that I think about it. It can be dealt with even after getting hit and isn't an auto-loss but the fact that it lasts the entire chapter is rough.
It also NEVER shows up in Birthright, IIRC. Of course.

chapter 24 -
Kinshi knight are still devil feces, but the chapter goes much more smoothly when I'm not trying to do everything at once. I like the dragon veins, mostly. It's cool that your enemy is using them against you even though it's cheating by respawning. My Elise cleaned up this map.
Also, ******** hexing rods? That penalty is way too harsh to last the entire chapter.

You can get hexing rods in birthright! But I really loved freeze staves and would rather have those. Don't think I ever used a hexing rod. Probably could help out your castle defenses though, and make people hate you.

Oh, sure. You can GET Hexing Rods, but I meant you never face one, whereas you start encountering enemies with them in Conquest very early on.
Considering how important placement can be in a lot of chapters, being able to buy Freeze is definitely more useful, I agree.

Chapter 25 -
*purposefully extends level in order to listen to the music*
*trolls Ryoma the entire chapter by keeping him at 10HP and farming exp because he can't hurt me*
*ignores dragon vein because why would I want to use that..?*
Honestly, Saizo was more challenging.
Chapter 26 - *peeks into it* *sees boss skills* oh joy a troll boss........... ... ... . . .
