"To get you checked out," Harrison clarified. "You go off-base a lot, right? If you and your weapon are getting on alright, you may have picked something up. You're not bothering anybody, I can do the checking."

"I have been off-base, certainly but there is nothing wrong with me at all. I feel absolutely fine, I just do not handle the cold well, this is not a new thing. It is only exacerbated by the present weather, once I am indoors I will be fine again. It would be a waste of your time. I would not want to waste your time."
He backed up a few paces, waving a claw dismissively. "I work in the infirmary, I know how to check someone over. I am fine."

Harrison stowed B0nez in his belt.
"I'm not charging," he said, then put his hand on Lawr's back and steered him buildingward. "But if you're real concerned about my time, you can have Melvin do up a couple more runes for me. This way, Dr. Bullshit."

Lawrence did not like being told what to do and he in fact even less liked being made to do something he didn't want to do. The moment Harrison set a hand on his back, he shook his head and with a more fervent and determined tone stated.
"I do not require a check up. I insist it is a waste of time."
And like a very stubborn toddler, he dug in his heels.

The heel-digging didn't seem to have much of a noticeable effect, and Lawr found that in the snow (and with Harrison walking just behind him) he continued to slide right on towards the infirmary.

Finding his feet slipping on the snow and getting him absolutely nowhere in the face of Harrison's determined and insufferable meddling, Lawrence's sense of outrage and panic only intensified and he twisted, going from flight to fight and once again trying to dig in his claws to make Harrison let him go.
He wasn't even hopeful it'd work, remembering the lack of effect this had had before and not even capable of the physical effort he had displayed then. "I INSIST." he hissed. "I am fine."

It had about the same effect as last time. "Do you like getting carried?"

"I DO NOT WANT TO BE CARRIED AT ALL." he snarled, raising his voice far above its usual limits. It was almost impossible to get Lawrence to raise his voice, but Harrison it seemed was more than capable of making him do it.
However, ignoring Butches complaints and warnings, he continued to fight and struggle against the other man's infuriatingly impossible to harm shield. He was so agitated he did not register the quiet concern in the voice of the ghost and the insistent way he was telling him to just stop, relax and get out of the cold.
It was good advice, and in ignoring it, the world seemed to shunt off its axis, his stomach turning at the vertigo as everything very abruptly blanked out and he keeled over in a dead faint against Harrison in what for a moment just looked like more theatrics but which turned out, was not.

Lawrence remained as limp an unresponsive as a rag doll.
Harrison hesitated, and took his pulse just in case.
Yeah, okay, still alive. It'd probably go faster this way anyway. He arranged Lawrence over one shoulder and headed up to go see if a room was open.
