Prince smiled, guiding her hand to his personal favourite, a spicy blend with cinnamon and cardamom, and ginger, with a mix of spices and some honey added for sweetness. "This is my current favourite, it's called yogi chai." He said, before stepping forward and pouring some into a teacup, it had already brewed and had milk added within the pot. He poured himself a cup too, making sure to pour through the sieve to stop anything getting into the cup. "Cheers." He said, clinking their china cups together before taking a sip.

"I made an exception." He still felt the same way, people who put sugar in their tea were an abomination, and don't even get the man started on bottled, or powdered tea. But that was by the by, "It adds to it, honestly."

As Minty took her first sip he practically gulped down the rest of his cup, they were a little on the small side after all. He started to pour himself another, sure there were many other types but this was his favourite so naturally the only one he was going to drink. "Anyway, tell me all about your trip." Prince adored Minty's family, he had fond memories of his time with them in the past, and he did look forward to seeing them again. Although the sharp contrast of the parenting styles, and relationships within each family from his own had shocked him at first, over time he had become more used to it.

"You always look good to me, Prince. So no staying away due to your hair, okay?" A teasing wink was given as she called that over her shoulder then tried the lemon square. No sooner had she gotten her first bite when she caught Minty's words. A napkin was quickly nabbed to cover her mouth as she tried not to outright giggle. "I've missed you too, Minty. I'll be looking forward to that treat~ And the lemon squares are scrumptious, Prince. I haven't tried the lime just yet, but I'm sure it is too."
To prove this must be true, the elf set the lemon square on her plate and picked up the lime ready to give it a taste. A pair of hands and a voice however made her jump, tossing the lime square up in the air. "Kyu?!" A complete blush covering her face, grey eyes turned to look behind her. "Sweet muffins Gwen, h-hi." With that, the lime square landed on her head. She flinched, then hastily took it off and dusted at her hair. "I really do spook too easy. How are you? Oh you brought a friend~" She set her plate down and beamed at the wolf pup.

"O-oh it's okay. Forever spooking like a bunny." She gives a shrug, her blush lessening some. "Ah, good to hear. Is that why you have this friend? And does that also mean there are others?" Her eyes go to the wolf pup a moment then return to Gwen. "O-oh, and I'm fine. Other than the spooking easy." A giggle and smile follow her last words.

"Don't even joke about that. I am having actual nightmares about your mother figuring it out, they're making the mirror dream seem like a good nights sleep." Minty's eyes darted over to Gigi to make sure the elf was still out of earshot. The blonde relaxed a little when she saw Gigi's attention had been occupied by the white haired girl who always seemed to show up whenever there was free food, "After the 'official' event in the Rose Kingdom? It seems politic to do one thing here and one thing there."

"No one ever needs to know it happened before it happened, and of everyone no one particularly includes your mother. And if she ever does know what she never needs to know, I think we should be on vacation on the other side of the galaxy at that time." Minty was only half joking, "I think as long as we agree to something over there, my family would be more than happy never ever to set foot on my ship. Which means I'll need to think of something to tell the queen..."

"Oh can I?" She looks so pleased at this and kneels slowly to offer her hand to the pup to smell. "I do enjoy fuzzy ears. So where did this one turn up from?" Once the pup is okay with her scent, she'll give it some pets and ear lovies.
