When Talitha heard Hoaka she hurried her pace. “Did you find him?” She ask, coming to an abrupt stop. Glancing around and not seeing the cub, she guessed that the answer was no. “We will find him Hoaka. We are so close.” She did her best to comfort him, but she knew the best way to cheer him up would be to find his son.

Hoaka turned to the female who had been so help, he still had trouble seeing her as anything other than the cub he had been around so much as she was younger. After today though he knew that he would see her as an adult. She had been invaluable, it was tough to think in no time his own cubs would be as old as she was. Thats if he could find the one missing son.

Jax followed behind the lions, much like Hyenas would when a lion would be hunting. He felt bad doing this and even though he felt like this was a lost cause, he couldn't help but be worried until the cub was found.

Talitha began searching in the new area, sniffing around to see if she could catch his sent. She saw others join her and Hoaka and she gave them a nod. The more looking the better, she thought. “I think hide n' seek is over little cub! Your papa is worried about you!” She called out.

When there was no answer to her call she headed in a different direction. She wondered if the cub had fallen asleep some where. When her sister slept, nothing could wake her. “Little cub!” She called out again.

Anan padded along, determination in his step. He needed to stay in this until the cub was found, for the sake of knowing what had happened to it if nothing else.

The sun had started to get lower and Hoaka was growing frantic. The night air around the mountains was frigid at best, he felt his anxiety grow at the thought of his young son spending a night out here all alone. His search became more and more frantic as the time moved on. He stopped paying attention to the others searching and instead was doing everything he could to not break down.
He had almost lost all hope when a flash of red caught his eye, he moved quickly towards the bush in question and in moments had found his son, sleeping peacefully as ever beneath the bush. From his first look over it didn't look like any harm had come to the small cub, it appeared he just wondered off and decided to have a nap. He scooped up his son by the scruff and backed his way out of the bush. He saw all those who had helped him search. He could do nothing more than give them a thankful nod, tears welling up in his eyes. He would have to thank everyone properly tomorrow for now his only concern was getting his son back to his mate.

Talitha turned around to see how Hoaka was holding up. To her surprise, she saw the small cub that they had been looking for. Relief washed over her. She decided that she would leave Hoaka alone and allow him some time to be with his son. She turned to those who had helped the search and bowed her head. “Thank you so much for the help.”
