He listened to what she said but thought it over, "So I guess that you moved her really wanting a new job, something better then what you what you had. I have to ask, why move to this city and did you leave anything behind that you miss? Do you have a special someone that you have here or that you had to leave behind?" He asked curious, just starting conversations.

"I moved because my family is in to the whole traditional family role thing, man goes to work women stays home to cook, clean,take care of the children and i wasn't into that. I wanted to make something of myself, to have my own life and be independent." she made a loud HA, at him asking her about a special someone then covered her mouth. "Sorry." she said her face flushing "I never had any special someones no one noticed little ol' me in school, or out of school." she shrugged her shoulders and looked at the table

Listening to her story, he nodded, "I see so does that mean that you aren't planning to have a family in the future or are you wanting to have a set job first?" he asked but when she laughed a bit, he smirked, "Don't think like that, just because you never had doesn't mean that a lovely woman such as yourself wouldn't turn a few heads." He said kindly to her.

"T-thats a good question. I haven't really thought about kids and stuff,i grew up with 3 sisters so my mom never nagged me about having kids. Well i guess that's mostly because they are all tall and what you could say society sees as pretty. And the fact they all already have family's so my mother doesn't pay much attention to the fact i haven't fallowed in their foot steps." she looked around the diner and nervously laughed at his next comment, and blushed a bit. "I-i'm fine being the plain girl, really less distractions for me right." she laughed awkwardly for a bit before her food came and she started to eat.

Hearing what she said, he was surprised by her family but nodded, "Well I guess that its good to do your own thing but still, it would always be a nice think about. To have a legacy to pass your knowledge and genetics down to... anyway, I guess to each their own." He thought as he was happy for the food, "Well yeah but in the fashion business, if you can turn some heads then think of how fast your designs could grow and how impressed many people believe that your designs look amazing on you and anyone who wears them?" He stated thinking that it seemed like a good thing to say.

"Yea, guess your right in that." she said as she took a bite of her food, she nodded as he spoke and waited till she was done chewing to respond. "i have been working on something in my apartment. you are right in that, maybe i should wear it to work tomorrow." she said sort of joking but was actually considering it "It would be me going way out of my comfort zone." she said with a small laugh and took a sip of water "So whats your dad like when he isn't ya'know being a boss? I hope you don't mind me asking..i-i mean you were just asking me questions on my family so i thought.." she began to frantically apologizing encase he wasn't one to share things like that.

Cody looked at her as she spoke, he nodded, "Alright, although, be careful because you don't want anyone taking your designs because unless you have a proper set up, they can be taken by someone who does and you can't prove its yours... basically legal mumbo jumbo that you have to be careful of since you are still just an intern." He explained before hearing what she asked and nodded, "Yeah well I guess that is fair. He is a stubborn old man to be honest, he has many good intentions but he has his flaws like everyone. Its funny how he enjoys keeping this business going even though aside from wearing a suit he has no fashion sense. I am not one to talk though, my favorite kind of shirt is a Hawaiian shirt but thats just for reasons." He blathered on but sighed, "He is a good man, he started this business with my mother, who was big into fashion. She began to work with a designer to create clothes for everyone, and soon from what my father helped with, he was able to help her work with other small time but great designers to create a corporation." He stated softly but he seemed a bit off with revealing this.

"Oh well your parents sound lovely." she said with a smile "I mean they sound waay better than mine." she could tell something was a little wrong but didn't chance it by asking. She had finished her food and looked at the clock for the first time since they sat down, then looked out side "Oh my god is it really that late." she had sort of a worried expression it was getting quit late, she hadn't realized how long they were talking "Im so sorry but i have to go." she said and left some money forgetting he said it was his treat. she grabbed her bag and rushed out the door, to the bus stop where she had ALMOST missed the last bus. On her rushing and such a small black journal fell out of her bag. earlier when asked about children she had lied and said he hadn't thought about it, but in the journal were kids names, and designs for children clothes and such. Naomi was jealous of her sister that they had already started families and she hadn't

Cody nodded when he seemed surprised by her suddenly speaking about how late it was. He was about to speak but she had rushed out, he picked up her money and noticed she had left a journal that must have fallen out of her bag. He went to put the money in one of the pages when he noticed that it was names for children and that it had a few children designs in it. He felt a bit surprised and bad for having looked but he paid for the food, leaving and heading back to his apartment. The next day, he was at the office, ready to head to her little desk when she was there to return her book.

The night before Naomi had thought about wearing what she was making but instead decided to wear something else, still different and still out of her comfort zone. Dressed and ready she left her apartment and got onto the bus. She was surprised at stars she was getting. They weren't necessarily bad, mostly men stared at her in a surprise at her, she was a regular on the bus as well as the men who were staring. arriving at the office building she walked in a little hesitant. She wore a pencil skirt that showed off her curvy hips, a belt to sinch in her shirt at her waist that was small but not scary small her shirt as well showed off her above average breasts. and to tie it all together she wore a pair of plane black heels. One who didn't know her would think it was surprising she knew how to walk in them. With a deep breath she stood tall and with a sassy walk, she walked to the elevator

Cody was walking by the elevators when he passed by when the doors opened and he would have kept going when he stopped and looked again. Inside the elevator was Naomi but she looked beautiful, "Wow Naomi... you amazing but I didn't expect to see how you would have been dressed like this, I would have mistaken you for one of the models... which might make it hard for you, you are an intern and your wearing heels." He said thinking that it would be a bit harder on her feet. He then thought it over, "Oh and I believe that you forgot this last night." He said holding out her small journal, the money she left to pay when he would have was in the front cover.

She smiled at Cody when he noticed her then looked at the black book and her smile was gone "Oh heh, t-thanks." she said as she took it back "i-i must be going now i have a lot of work to do today, with all the meetings going on and what not. T-thanks for last night." she said as she rushed passed him to her desk. she walked in those heels like a pro

He was curious about why she was suddenly not so happy that he had gotten her book. He took some time but then went to her office to look for her, "Naomi... are you around here?" he asked curiously to her.

Naomi was under her desk plugging something in when she was startled. She jumped a bit and bumped her head on the bottom of the desk. "Yes i am here." she said waving her hand up before standing up "Oh h-hi Cody, do you nee me to get something for you? or organize something?" she asked as she straightened out her skirt. She was hoping he hadn't gone threw her journal

Cody jumped a bit when she banged her head under her desk but as she got up and said that she was here, he looked at her, "Well first, are you alright?" he asked a bit concerned hoping that she didn't hurt herself but then thought over how she seemed very nervous about something.
