"I see. How often did you get to see your grandparents and their pet?" Terry asked then looked down at Ace, who at this point was looking like he was about to crawl into Seung's lap. "Well I do believe you made a friend right there at least." He said, amusement coloring his tone. He then looked back at Seung and gave a half smile.

"A few trims a year...they live across the country." Which meant it took time to get there. They went a few times a year but the time it took didn't make sense, especially if it interrupted their schooling in any way. Picking the kitten up and nestling the little ball of four legged fluff into his lap.
"Glad he likes me." It was better than being bitten or clawed, and he enjoyed the company of the little kitten that was currently in his lap. The little thing was soft and fluffy...and he leaned his head down as he bent in double in order to nuzzle the little thing.

"Understandable then." Terry nodded. He had family that lived in the area and even then he didn't get to see them very often so he imagined it was worse when they were on the other side of the country. "Of course he likes you. He has no reason not to." He said as he watched Seung cuddle Ace. Ace happily went along with his movement and he cuddled up, still purring like a motor. When Seung leaned down to nuzzle him, the kitten rubbed his cheek on his face.

"Some pets don't like some people." He said shrugging. "Like people, not all people like each other." And some pets seemed to dislike certain people or genders or whatever else. So while he wasn't surprised he couldn't help having stated it. But he was smiling over the fact the little kitten seemed to like him that much.
Rubbing his face to the kitten he looked up at the other. "Been wanting a pet...might ask parents." Or maybe he'd just get a kitten, or something else, and surprise them and find a way to keep it? That was an idea he was now considering. It had always been a thought, even back home, of wanting a pet., They helped with stress and school did cause stress as did work. So he'd always thought it might help them all, perhaps now more than ever and they had been here long enough.

"Very true." Terry said then gave a smile and a shrug. "Ace loves people, I haven't see him dislike anyone yet, though he has clear favorites." He said and gestured to how the kitten was acting. "If you do ask and they say yes, I'll take you to the shelter we got Ace from and you can have a look." He hoped Seung's parents did say yes as it was obvious to him that the other male was happy with the munchkin. He then blinked at the word Seung said though quickly caught on what he was doing when he repeated it slower. Terry gave the word a few tentative tries before saying it a bit stronger and giving the other a questioning look to see if he said it right. "Goyangi."

Didn't every animal have favorites? Just like people, it was no surprise. It was a matter of personalities and some mixed better than others. But it seemed Ace might really like him, which was fine. He liked the fluffy kitten as well. "That would be good. I hope they agree. I did want one - back home. Stress relief." He explained without going into why stress relief was needed, for him it was an obvious thing.
Seeing the other catch on to the impromptu lesson, even if it was only one word, he nodded his head when the other did get it. "Yes, that is cat." He said proud the other had gotten it. he supposed it wasn't that hard of a word, especially when compared to other words. But this was the word which fit the situation, had it been something harder it would have been that word instead and he'd just have gone slower.

Stress relief was always a good thing, and no matter your level of stress animals always helped. "Maybe if it helped you could try asking while presenting facts? Like for instance cat purrs are scientifically proven to not only help stress but help heal bones." He said and reached over to scratch Ace behind the ears. Terry nodded with a smile, glad he had managed to say it right. "Goyangi is cat, got it."

"heal bones?" Now that was hard to believe and not something he had ever heard of, but it was certainly something he would look in to. perhaps if he gathered all the facts he could present them all to his parents? If he could do that, gather all the facts, he could put together a presentation of some form that he could show his parents and let them mule it over on their own and come to some sort of decision. It was a good idea and not one he'd thought of previously, too busy to think of how he could get a cat and convince his parents of it.
"Good." He answered with a smile and continued to pet the little fluff ball in his arms. Yes, he would do his research and win his parents approval of the idea. He would work toward that and surprise his cousin and sister with a kitten. He'd just have to handle cleaning up after the little thing, perhaps he could recruit the girls into helping as well? He didn't want to really saddle them with it, it would show a lack of responsibility on his part but perhaps they'd offer...

"Yep, apparently it is just the right hertz frequency that it promotes healing for bones." Terry said with a chuckle. He hadn't believed it either the first time he heard it but he had looked it up later on. "They also lower your risk for heart attack." He smiled back then scratched Ace under the chin. The tiny cat was in heaven with both males giving him attention and was practical a happy purring puddle of fluff.

"That is...interesting." And something he certainly should look into, not because he planned on breaking bones or anyone in his family suffering broken bones. It was just a very interesting thing, nothing he'd have believed and still sort of didn't. The last bit he could certainly believe, about heart attack - less stress. He could see how that could work. Yes, he would be putting a presentation of information together - soon.
"He is very happy." He said nodding down to the kitten in his lap. Petting behind the ears gently.

"Yes, there is quite a few things that are like that when it comes to pets." Terry said with a nod. If Seung needed help then he would have no trouble working with him to put together a report to help convince his parents the benefits of having a pet. He smiled down at the happy kitten and nodded again. "That he is."

"I will have to research this." He said calmly, already accepting the task and all that it would entail. It would be more work but it would pay off in the end if he succeeded in getting what he wanted. If he got his parents approval he'd have a cat, and thankfully he had some money saved so could pay for some of the expenses. He'd just have to find out at the pet store the best things for a cat, especially what was needed to occupy a cat so they didn't get in trouble. Natsuko-neko We can skip a head a bit, or a lot, and then start a follow up rp? Since this is a sleepover.

"If you want help with that then just let me know." Terry said with a smile. After playing with Ace for a little while longer, the two ended up going back to playing video games while occasionally petting the snuggling munchkin. After a few hours of this they got called to dinner. Sleet Tempest Snape Sounds good to me ouob Would you rather end this here and start the next one or continue?
