"Well, yeah." She replied, as if the answer was simple, because it was. "I have nothing against the police okay---they're all amazing men and women for putting their lives on the line fighting regular crime and upholding order and delivery justice but---" She looked at him, exasperated. "Come on, Sergei, they don't stand any chance against baddies who can plunge their hands into your chest and steal your soul and sap energy and dark creatures that roam the night---you know how fast we can move? How high we can jump? How strong we are, how fast we heal?" Her lips twisted, and she picked up her fork to start cutting her food.

"Magical stuff won't obey the law, and the law has no power over it---so if you have the chance to do something about it and you don't well---that's just---" She paused, staring at him. "If you're going to call me stupid for talking, I'm going to call you stupid for being ignorant." She gave a solemn nod. "Not utilizing your magical side to help better your not magical side, to give the police a fighting chance is stupid. Also---"

She held out her hand.

"We're shaking on the patrolling thing. Nadia says you're dodgy, and it will be next Tuesday and you'll act like you didn't agree to this, so we're shaking on it." She smiled at him.

Olga held up her hands. "Hey---that's what I said! It was Nadia who said otherwise---" She felt okay 'throwing her friend under the bus' so to speak...because, well, it was Nadia, and she deflected all things with ease. With her =u= face. "She was pretty insistent on it, actually---but, on the other haaaaaand~" Olga tapped her chin thoughtfully.

"You have tried dodging me a few times, yanno---" She held her hand back out to him. "And if you don't shake on this deal we're making, you're just proving Nadia right!"

"Woooah, woah, woah there, Mister Man---" Olga pulled her hand back, her eyes going wide. "You can't add in clauses right when we're about to shake!" She pointed two of her fingers at her eyes, and then one at him in a 'I'm watching you and seeing what you're doing there' motion.

"If you're going to tack that on as well, then you and I patrol every Tuesday---" Yes, four times a month, "And then I'll only talk about these things on those days!" She held her hand back out to him.

"That's the agreement we're going to shake on."

She needed to make sure to tell Nadia that her brother made the funniest sounds! But he consented, and Olga's expression immediately shifted into this:

And she held her hand out to him, waggling her fingers. "Take my hand, Sergei." Seal the deal.

She squeezed his hand firmly, just pleased as punch since she pretty much owned his soul now. "Awesome! I'm really excited! I look forward to patrolling with you!" And since that was settled for now, Olga finally turned to her food.

Seriously. Guaranteed to see Sergei at least four times a month and go stop youma and Nega agents with him at night. Best birthday ever.
