"Me, me, me!" brayed Wild Green Stones with an easy laugh. He was prepared to shove and trip his way to victory again.
Unfortunately - this time, hard as he tried, he still lost. He stared at the dropped rock in disbelief before turning to his opponent. "Well done," he admitted grudgingly. It had been a good match: both contenders had been quick and wily about it, and without having had to watch, Wild Green Stones knew that they had both looked graceful (and vicious!) as a swan.
Which was the ideal, really. But, well.
To his surprise, the game-runner still awarded him with a token. Apparently he had been improving. "Or maybe you just have a crush," grinned Wild Green Stones, winking.

Wild Green Stones clearly knew exactly what he was doing. That didn't stop him from coming back, of course: wasn't the game all the more fun when you knew what you were doing? But his opponent was just as experienced as he was: the very same kin he'd faced the previous day.
"Hello, fellow veteran," he crowed. "I'm not going down nearly as easily this time!"
It was another exhilarating game, and the stone came close to braining him several times. But after a while even Wild Green Stones had to concede the win - he was just too tired. "You have some impressive stamina," he winked. "Is that just for this game?

Okay is Wonderful was eager to play, and this game was no different. "Please go easy on me," she smiled at her opponent, an unfamiliar zikwa.
But she had the advantage of seeing very well. That didn't really stop the zikwa from being an excellent opponent, though. It was actually fairly clear early on that neither of them were playing solely to win. The enjoyment was enough, for both of them, and that made the game a delight to watch. Of course, the little rock had to drop eventually, and Optimist was certainly tiring - the rock wasn't that smooth, you know! It could still bruise.
So when the time came, she let the stone fall to the ground. "We should do this again some time," she said.

Wild Green Stones was back, and he was certainly ready for action. "These things are great," he told the acha enthusiastically. "What do you think I'd have to trade to get one?"
But it didn't seem like he was that fixated on the idea: he turned quickly to his opponent. "Watch out," he warned her. She was a zikwa on thin, shaky legs. She seemed to be more than keeping up, though - his large movements, intended to trip her up, seemed to do nothing of the sort. She was always twisting out of the way just in time to avoid being slammed into, and thus falling.
"You waste too much energy," she chided, when he finally let the rock drop. The acha, feeling bad, apparently awarded him with a token away. For vigorous play.

"I am the star player here," said Wild Green Stones, who mostly only qualified for the title because he had come by here a lot. His wins tended to involve cheating.
It was the same thing today. It didn't look like the acha had managed to find an opponent who was prepared for the cheating that was about to happen, either. So the game was actually over...frighteningly quickly. A few quick smacks of the rock and Wild Green Stones' opponent was either too scared of him or too pained by the rock to really retaliate. He didn't care which one it was, as long as he continued to get tokens out of this.
Which he had. So there.

The acha's excitement was infectious. "S-sure, I'll try a new game out..." Soot hoped his nose and ears would be up to the task where his eyes might fail. His opponent is a kimeti buck with wideset horns that let him easily catch the rock on it's first fall and swing it back up into the air. Sootstriped listens for the sounds of the fabric flapping in the air and lunges out, just barely catching the toy with his teeth. The second volley doesn't go so well though, he misjudges the distance and bites the rock instead!
"Oww!" It drops out of Sootstriped's mouth and the game is over. "I guess that's it, then. Good game?"
It wasn't quite as hard as he'd expected. Maybe he'd try again later!

Defiant thought the game of catch looked kind of fun, so she sauntered over and was immediately paired with a totoma twice her size. She smiled at her partner as she began the toss. The pair started out slow, but eventually started to get the hang of it. It was trickier than it looked; you had to not just be in the right place at the right time, but return the toss in such a way that your partner could actually get the thing. Defiant giggled as the game went on for quite a while before she got the parachute tangled in her horns; still, she'd managed to keep it up for quite some time before the loss and was happy to claim her token at the end.
